This compact smartwatch features a lightweight and minimal design, measuring 46.5 × 40 × 9.9 mm and weighing just 31 grams, making it comfortable for all-day wear. It comes with a plastic back and aluminum frame, offering a balance between durability and lightness. The watch supports eSIM in China only and carries a 5ATM water resistance rating, allowing it to withstand water pressure equivalent to 50 meters, suitable for swimming and daily water exposure.
The watch is equipped with a 2.1-inch AMOLED display that delivers sharp visuals and vibrant colors. With a resolution of 432 × 514 pixels and a pixel density of around 324 ppi, text and icons appear crisp. A peak brightness of 2000 nits ensures excellent visibility even under bright sunlight.
Running on HyperOS 3, the smartwatch offers a smooth and optimized interface designed for quick interactions and efficient performance. While it does not include a camera or Wi-Fi connectivity, it focuses on core smartwatch essentials. Audio output is supported through a built-in loudspeaker, though there is no 3.5mm headphone jack or USB port.
Connectivity relies on Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring stable and energy-efficient pairing with smartphones. For location tracking, Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS, using dual L1 antennas for improved accuracy. NFC support is available in China only.
Health and fitness tracking is a major highlight, with sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and compass. Powering the device is a 550mAh battery, designed to deliver reliable daily usage. The smartwatch is available in Black and Silver color options.
