For those unaware, Crossfire is a popular PC title that bears a striking resemblance to CS:GO (Counter Strike: Global Offensive). The game one of the most popular and highest played games of all time and its recent mobile port has been seeing great success in China as well.

Notably, Fortnite and Peace Elite also support the 90Hz refresh rate as well. OnePlus has been betting big on gaming especially for the mobile platform, and collaborations such as this and improved frame rate fidelity support would only solidify its position as a gamer’s choice. The special CrossFire gift box is currently available for a prie of 5,999 Yuan (roughly 858 US Dollars).

Fortnite is one of the world’s most popular video games at the moment. It is a different and rather cartoonish take on the extremely successful battle royale genre and competes with the likes of PUBG. With games being intensive multiplayer battles, higher refresh rates can give users a slight edge in their fights. For those unaware, a higher refresh rate also translates to lowered input lag, meaning your physical actions are reflected faster on the screen. The difference is in mere milliseconds, but in a first person shooter title, that’s all that matters.

Editor’s Pick: Redmi Dimensity 1000+ phone could feature 120Hz OLED display with pop-up camera

Unfortunately, despite the OnePlus 8 packing Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside the Adreno 650 GPU, the game can only run at 90fps when the graphics settings are set to “low.” While you do lose visual fidelity, the improved performance really does make up for that loss in detail. So, if you’re into Fortnite and mobile gaming, the smartphone, and the game title really pair well together.

For those who are unaware, Peace Elite is the Chinese version of the popular PUBG Mobile game. Recently, the OnePlus 8 series became the first in the world to support the Fornite game in 90 frames per second. However, it came at a compromise as enabling 90fps mode changes the graphics settings to low.

Coming to the specifications, both Meizu 17 and 17 Pro features a 6.6-inch S-AMOLED Full HD+ display which comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor.
