Xiaomi India has launched the Redmi Note 9 smartphone. It is the same device that is selling as Redmi 10X 4G in China. The Note 9 is the third installment in the Redmi Note 9 series that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Redmi Note 9 Pro that debuted in March this year. Redmi Note 9 price in India
The Redmi Note 9 costs Rs. 11,999 (~$160) for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage edition and Rs. 14,999 (~$200) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The first sale of the Redmi Note 9 will be carried on July 24 at 12 PM IST through Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home, and other partnered offline stores. The Redmi Note 9 can be bought in colors such as Arctic White, Pebble Grey, and Aqua Green.

The Redmi Note 9 houses an IPS LCD pane of 6.53-inch. The Dot Display branded screen offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Full HD+ resolution, and it is flanked with Gorilla Glass 5 panel. The Aura Balance Design that was seen on the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is also available on the Note 9. Apart from symmetrical appearance, it brings p2i nano-coating for water-resistance.
The Redmi Note 9 is powered by the Helio G85 SoC and LPDDR4x RAM. For storage, the handset offers eMMC 5.1 storage and a dedicated microSD card slot. It is preinstalled with Android 10 OS and MIUI 11 skin.
The Redmi Note 9’s rear-facing quad-camera setup has a primary lens of 48-megapixel, an 8-mgeapixel superwide shooter with 118-degree field-of-view, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth assist sensor. At the front, the phone is fitted with a 13-megapixel selfie snapper.
The 5,020mAh battery of the Redmi Note 9 can be used for charging other devices through the 9W reverse charging feature. The retail box of the Note 9 includes a 22.5W fast charger. It has a rear-facing fingerprint reader and it also supports face unlock. For audiophiles, it has a 1216 linear speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The other features that have been added to the device are dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, IR blaster, and USB-C port.
