Oppo has officially confirmed to launch Reno 4 Pro with 90Hz refresh rate in India on July 31. The company advertises the handset to feature 3D Borderless Sense Screen, which is nothing but a marketing jargon for curved AMOLED display.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro India Launch Date

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo initially debuted Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro in its home market in early June. However, the company is only bringing the Pro model to overseas markets. Like the Reno 3 Pro, the upcoming Reno 4 Pro will be different than its Chinese counterpart.

Earlier this month, the phone was tipped to arrive with a higher refresh rate display than the original version. Unfortunately, that’s not the case as the company has now officially confirmed it to feature 90Hz screen and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Having said that, though the brand has not revealed anything about the chipset inside, a Geekbench listing exposed the device to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, which is a downgrade from Snapdragon 765G found on the Chinese variant.

Further, an exclusive leak by Monecontrol suggests the Indian version of Reno 4 Pro to come with a different camera setup as well. According to the report, the phone will sport a 48MP (primary) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (monochrome/depth) quad-camera setup. For those unaware, the original Reno 4 Pro features a 48MP (primary) + 12MP (ultra-wide) + 13MP (5x telephoto) triple camera setup.

The same report also says the handset to go on sale starting August 5 and will be available in two color options – Starry Night and Silky White. Last but not least, it also mentions the launch of Oppo Watch alongside the phone just like two more previous reports.
