Acer has launched the new Acer A210 8-inch Eye-Care Tablet , an entry-level Android tablet aimed at students, casual users, and budget-conscious buyers. The tablet offers a compact design, Android 14 software, expandable storage, and an 8-inch display, all at a starting price of approximately $80.

Compact Design and Display

The Acer A210 features an 8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. The tablet measures 120 × 204 × 7.8 mm, making it easy to carry and suitable for reading, web browsing, online learning, and video streaming.

Android 14 and Expandable Storage

One of the biggest highlights of the tablet is Android 14 out of the box, something rarely seen in this price segment. The device is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

Users can further expand storage by up to 128GB through a microSD (TF) card slot, providing extra space for apps, photos, and videos.

Connectivity and Battery

The Acer A210 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity. It also includes a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in speakers, and a microphone.

Acer is also offering subsidized pricing in select markets, reducing the prices to ¥398.05 and ¥498.75, respectively. These are China-market prices, and imported units may cost more in other regions due to taxes and import duties.

Acer is now preparing the new Tegra 4 tablet device, the device is alsopacks with hi-definition screen display, this tablet device has model numer TA272HUL.

Acording to reports published by Notebook Italia on benchmark results for the latest Acer tablet with the model number TA272HUL has the support of NVIDIA Tegra 4 1.8GHz processor. Not only that, the new Acer tablet based on the Android 4.2.2 will also be equipped with a high screen resolution support WQHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) and 2GB of RAM.

The use of quad-core processor ARM Cortex-A15 will supposedly make the most of existing devices may have reliability and high-performance. Yes, that’s the least that has been disclosed in a relevant benchmark results support the processor models in Nenamark and Passmark recently.

After announcing last month an 8GB version of Acer Iconia Tablet devices at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Acer reportedly has just announced the availability of the Acer Iconia BI-A71 16GB version at  Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 in Barcelona.

Acer Iconia B1-A71 is packs a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with WSVGA resolution capability (1024 × 600 pixels). 7-inch tablet offers a grip triangle in the lower left side to increase the use of one hand and the weight is only 320 grams.

To support the performance of the system, this phone is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has been fully supported by a dual-core processor reliability MediaTek MT8317T 1.2GHz and 512MB of RAM. Having 16GB of internal memory and can be expanded using MicroSD cards up to 32GB capacity through the existing slot.

Although this tablet is only packed with 0.3MP front-facing VGA camera, this tablet also complemented by several other features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm headset, headphone and microphone jack, the internal speakers and powered by a 2710 mAh battery capacity.

Acer Iconia B1-A71 16GB version has 139 EUR price or around $180 USD, while the 8GB version has only  119 EUR or around $150 USD

Acer finally announced the new Iconia Tab B1 for lower-middle market segment, this device offers with very affordable price. Will this tablet beat the domestic tablet?

Along with the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2013 in Las Vegas, Acer has been officially annoounced the Iconia B1, this is a 7 inch tablet that cater to everyday activities.

“Acer Iconia tab B1 has very easy to hold with one hand. Due tablet is designed with a triangle grip on the lower left side,” says Acer.

The Taiwanese vendor also claims Iconia B1 is the lightest 7 inch tablet in the market today with a weight of only 320 grams.

As for the specifications, this tablet uses a dual core MTK8317T chipset from Mediatek with 1.2 GHz SoC clock speed. While the display has 1024 x 600 WSVGA sharpness.

Meanwhile, in addition to external memory slot, this tablet also uses 8GB of internal storage. The price is certainly reasonable, you can buy this tablet for only $150 USD.
