<p><span style="font-weight: 400">LineageOS 16.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie was officially released in March 2019. A number of older devices and then newer devices were supported by developers and maintainers over the course of the next year.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last year, when Android 10-based LineageOS 17.1 </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/01/heres-the-complete-list-of-50-officially-supported-lineageos-17-1-devices/"><span style="font-weight: 400">was released</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, select few devices running the previous version of the OS were updated to the latest one. However, 24 of those smartphones and tablets continued to remain on LineageOS 16.0 up until now.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Now, as the project is readying to release LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11, it has dropped support for Android 9.0 Pie. As a result, the below listed 24 devices are stuck with LineageOS 16.0 unless any new maintainer shows up to update them to LineageOS 17.1 (Android 10).</span></p>

The company has now launched two new Android One phones that adopt the moniker BQ Aquaris X2 and Aquaris X2 Pro. Both models are upper mid-rangers even though they sure come with a premium design.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aris.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-190300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aris.jpg?x44794" alt="BQ Aquaris X2 Pro" width="728" height="413" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aris.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aris-300x170.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></a></p>
<p><strong>BQ Aquaris X2 Specs</strong></p>
<p>As for the specifications, the Aquaris X2 is equipped with a 5.65-inch FHD+ display with rather slim small bezels on the top and bottom. A 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for the base model and 4GB + 64GB for the more premium one. The body is made of aluminium frame combined with a plastic back. The device also packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-190296" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris.jpg?x44794" alt="BQ Aquaris X2" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-270x270.jpg 270w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p>The X2 packs a dual camera setup at the back which includes a 12MP (f/1.8) + 5MP sensors with extra emphasis on portrait mode. The selfie shooter also comes with some cool features such as the SoftNeuro patented technology that produces a bokeh effect by detecting your face and blurring the background. In addition, the Aquaris X2 is fired up by a 3,100 mAh battery supporting Qualcomm&#8217;s Quick Charge 4+.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-190297" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2.jpg?x44794" alt="BQ Aquaris X2 pro" width="728" height="362" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2-300x149.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></a></p>
<p><strong>BQ Aquaris X2 Pro Specs</strong><br />
The BQ Aquaris X2 Pro as the name implies is an improved model when compared to the Aquaris X2. It packs a similar 5.65-inch FHD+ display with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset While its memory starts at 4GB + 64GB configuration and goes up to 6GB + 128GB. The chassis is also a bit better as it features 3D glass instead of plastic while retaining the aluminium frame.</p>
<p>The rest of the specs and features are the same for both devices and they are both powered by Android One for a vanilla Android experience.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-190298" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2-2.jpg?x44794" alt="BQ Aquaris X2" width="728" height="358" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2-2.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bq-aquaris-x2-2-300x148.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></a></p>
