Dell has unveiled their new Inspiron 14 (Linglong 14-5445) Ryzen Edition laptop on JD.com. This powerful machine features an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for smooth multitasking and demanding applications.

The FHD model is priced at 3,999 Yuan, while the 2.2K model at 4,599 Yuan

Users can choose between a Full HD or a 2.2K IPS LCD touchscreen, both measuring 14 inches diagonally. The FHD option starts at a budget-friendly 3,999 yuan (approximately $552 USD), while the 2.2K touchscreen models come in at either 3,999 yuan or 4,599 yuan (approximately $552 or $635 USD) depending on storage capacity.

The Dell Inspiron 14 weighs just 1.56 kg and measures 16.9mm thin, making it a great choice for those who value portability. In terms of connectivity, it offers a good selection of ports, including a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The 2.2K touchscreen option boasts 300 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, ensuring a vivid viewing experience. For the price, the laptop sure does have a good set of features. Dell recently launched the Inspiron 16 Plus 7630 laptop in some global markets including China and Japan. And now, the brand has updated the Inspiron 14 line with the latest 13th gen Intel & AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors in India. There are two models in the updated lineup called the Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 14 2-in-1.

According to Dell, their laptops come with several advanced features that enhance the user’s media consumption and gaming experience, including Dolby Atmos spatial audio, a 16:10 aspect ratio screen, and Dell ComfortView software technology. Additionally, the laptops are equipped with dual microphones and AI technology that reduces background noise.

Dell Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 14 2-in-1 specs

Dell’s Inspiron 14 laptop has the 13th gen Intel Core processors powering the device. The AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors power the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 variant. Charging is quick and efficient with ExpressCharge support, with the battery charging to 80% in only an hour. The laptops are equipped with 14-inch FHD displays, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 250nits brightness, and a WVA panel that supports ComfortView. The Inspiron 14 2-in-1 also features touch support.

The Inspiron 14 2-in-1 has a 360-degree hinge that allows for four different modes, including tablet, laptop, tent, and stand. It supports an optional active pen. The laptops offer up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. They run on Windows 11 Home.

The Dell Inspiron 14 and 14 2-in-1 share the same 54Wh battery and 65W charging support. The laptops come with various connectivity options and ports, such as Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, HDMI 1.4, 2 Intel Thunderbolt 4.0, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello support.

Price & availability

Starting from April 7th, customers can purchase the latest Dell Inspiron laptops at Dell Exclusive Stores (DES) and certain retail outlets. The Dell Inspiron 14 will be priced at a starting rate of Rs 64,990 in India, while the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 will begin at Rs 79,990. Additionally, the AMD edition of the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 will start at Rs 82,190.
