<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/new_prod_p4000.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-47052" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/new_prod_p4000.jpg?x44794" alt="new_prod_p4000" width="353" height="357" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/new_prod_p4000.jpg 353w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/new_prod_p4000-297x300.jpg 297w" sizes="(max-width: 353px) 100vw, 353px" /></a></p>
<p>Earlier today, the specifications of the Elephone P4000 model were leaked online. The phone is said to come with the new MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor. The highlight of this chip is its full network connectivity, which should definitely attract some user attention. Another big feature of the new Elephone P4000 is its massive battery. Similar to the P5000, this particular model will feature a 4800mAh high-density battery. Further, it will be equipped with Quick Charge technology to make sure that you don&#8217;t have to wait for more than a few hours to charge the device completely.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-47050" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="elephone p4000 specs" width="800" height="534" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-640x427.png 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs-681x454.png 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/elephone-p4000-specs.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>Other tech specs of the device are pretty decent. The Elephone P4000 is said to come with a compact 5-inch display with 720p resolution. There will be 1GB RAM on board along with 8GB of internal storage. Finally, a 13MP camera unit will be located at the back. The phone is said to run on the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS right out of the box.</p>

<p>Since MT6735 supports full network connectivity, you can use this phone on practically any network. These are the supported connectivity options: <span class="notranslate">Cat. 4 LTE (FDD &amp; TDD), DC-HSPA +, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 1x / EVDO Rev. A and EDGE network</span>.</p>
<p>As for the price tag, Elephone is known for its affordable phones, so expect the P4000 to retail for less than 1000 Yuan ($161). The phone is scheduled to release in May.</p>

<p>Here we are going to discuss about two brand new phones which you are going to see soon in the market, i.e. Doogee DG 850 and Hitman and Elephone P4000. The first thing that we would like to mention is that both of these device are coming from the same factory, but at the same time both of them vary in terms of specifications as well as marked price. Starting from design and running till the processors, both of these Smartphones have very little difference among them. However, here we are to tell you about the difference as well as the similarities in both the devices in various specification as well as the features that they offer to the consumers.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Doogee DG 850 Hitman vs. Elephone P4000</span></b></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Design</span></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Design1.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-35303 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Design1.png?x44794" alt="Design" width="845" height="471" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Design1.png 845w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Design1-300x167.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px" /></a></p>
<p>Both of these devices have a premium design but look almost similar to Xiaomi Mi4 but without the “Mi” logo. The design has definitely been copied from Mi4 including the positioning of camera, front camera, bar design and the metal finish. Just the difference in Doogee DG 850 Hitman is that it has CNC cuts in the Aluminum – Zinc alloy chassis.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Processor and RAM</span></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Processor.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-35277" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Processor.png?x44794" alt="Processor" width="845" height="471" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Processor.png 845w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Processor-300x167.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/QQ图片20141104143832.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-35300" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/QQ图片20141104143832-1024x574.jpg?x44794" alt="QQ图片20141104143832" width="590" height="330" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/QQ图片20141104143832-1024x574.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/QQ图片20141104143832-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/QQ图片20141104143832.jpg 1265w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a>Talking about the processor of the Smartphones, Doogee DG 850 Hitman comes with a quad core Cortex A7 MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. It is also the world’s first processor with GPS, FM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi coming as integrated functions. Elephone P4000 here takes the lead and beats Doogee DG 850 with a Octa core MTK6592 processor clocked at the frequency of 1.7 GHz. Doogee DG 850 also possesses less RAM, i.e. only 1 GB when compared to Elephone P4000 which comes embedded with 2 GB RAM thus offering a smoother experience to the users. The only thing where Doogee DG 850 wins is the ROM size. DG 850 has 16 GB ROM installed in it but the Elephone 4000 is limited to 8GB ROM. However, the ROM of both the devices could be extended with the help of Micro SD cards.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Screen</span></b></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality-2.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-35280" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality-2.png?x44794" alt="Camera Quality 2" width="843" height="471" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality-2.png 843w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality-2-300x167.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 843px) 100vw, 843px" /></a>Both of the Smartphones have same screen size on 5 inch as well as possess same resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. So there is no difference in screens of both of the devices.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Camera</span></b></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-35281" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality.png?x44794" alt="Camera Quality" width="845" height="471" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality.png 845w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Camera-Quality-300x167.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>One could see a huge difference in camera of both the devices. On one hand Doogee DG 850 features an 8 MP primary camera as well as 2 MP front camera, while on the other hand Elephone 4000 comes with 13 MP primary and 5 MP front camera. Elephone P4000 thus no doubt has an upper hand here.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Battery</span></b></p>
<p>Battery is a very important factor in all the Smartphones. Since most of the Android phones do not last very long on battery, it becomes very crucial to choose a device with long battery life. Both of Doogee DG850 and Elephone P4000&#8217;s battery life is not being comfirmed yet, what you see on their website is not the final spesifications yet, cause the real phone is still manufacturing in the factory.  But they are not slim phones, so with a quad-core mediatek</p>
<p>Gesture control is an amazing feature which has been included in both the device. It is more or less identical and all you need to do is to make pattern on the off screen in order to perform various actions directly.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Operating System</span></b></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Android-OS1.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-35322" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Android-OS1.png?x44794" alt="Android OS" width="845" height="463" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Android-OS1.png 845w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Android-OS1-300x164.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px" /></a></p>
<p>No difference could be found in the Operating System of these devices too. Both of the devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat version.</p>
<p><b><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Verdict</span></b></p>
<p>Overall there is not much difference in both the device excluding the processing unit and the camera. This is also the main reason behind the price difference of both the device. Elephone P4000 undoubtedly comes out as the winner among the both with much better CPU and camera and is priced at $159.99. while on the other hand, elephone is known for price their cellphone &#8220;cheaper then cheaper&#8221; will Doogee DG 850 be priced cheaper than Elephone P4000?</p>

<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/62.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-32219" alt="6" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/62-1024x575.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="331" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/62-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/62-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>Like we saw in the render images earlier today, the back cover has openings for the camera module and single LED flash. Below it, lies the Elephone logo. It looks like the back cover is made of some kind of glossy material, but we hope its not a fingerprint magnet.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/42.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-32215" alt="4" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/42-1024x575.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="331" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/42-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/42-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>We also got the front panel which has several markings for the capacitive buttons at the bottom and the ear piece, ambient light sensor as well as the front camera on top. So, like the renders suggested, the device would look a lot like the Xiaomi Mi4.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/16.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-32218" alt="1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/16-1024x575.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="331" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/16-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/16-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>So, what do you think about the leak? The back cover looks quite premium and we hope the overall built quality will be as good its inspiration, i.e. Xiaomi Mi4.</p>
<p>Stay tuned for more exclusive coverage on the latest smartphones.</p>

However, at that time, we had only a handful of renders available of the device. But even from those one or two pictures, we were instantly able to conclude that it was a clone of the Xiaomi flagship, Mi4.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/131.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-32173 aligncenter" alt="13" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/131-1024x538.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/131-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/131-300x157.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>Today, we have got lots of pictures of the upcoming P4000, that too in three different colors namely white, black and golden.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/101.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-32203 aligncenter" alt="10" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/101-1024x644.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="371" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/101-1024x644.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/101-300x188.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>As you can see, the images reveal the overall design of the handset. The volume rockers and the power key are on the right around the middle, the speaker grill as well as the micro USB port are at the bottom while the 3.5mm headphone in port is at the top.</p>
<p>Like we said earlier, Elephone has made P4000 exactly like the Mi4. The button, speaker and even the MicroUSB port placements are exactly like the Xiaomi flagship.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/121.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-32174 aligncenter" alt="12" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/121-1024x538.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/121-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/121-300x157.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Elephone P4000</p>
<p>On the back, there&#8217;s the camera along with the single LED flash and below it, you have the Elephone logo. The logo on the P4000 is directly below the camera module unlike the Mi4 where the Mi logo is placed at the lower section of the case.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Xiaomi-Mi4.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-32206 aligncenter" alt="Xiaomi-Mi4" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Xiaomi-Mi4.jpg?x44794" width="700" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Xiaomi-Mi4.jpg 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Xiaomi-Mi4-300x197.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Xiaomi Mi4</p>
<p>As you can see there&#8217;s hardly any difference between the two in terms of looks.</p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">As for the specs, all we know as of now is that the phone will come with a 5.0 inch 720p display and a Mediatek processor.</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/08.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-32177 aligncenter" alt="08" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/08-1024x538.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/08-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/08-300x157.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>Coming to the software, we were a bit surprised to see the Flyme wallpaper on the device. Could it be that Elephone has taken some inspiration from Meizu&#8217;s Flyme OS for its software? We can&#8217;t really confirm that until we see a working device, but till then digest all the new images that we have for you.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll have more updates for you in the coming days, but for now, check out the full gallery given below.</p>

<p>Things are really getting heated in the affordable flagship market as more and more Chinese companies are releasing high end gadgets at a very affordable price.</p>
<p>First it was Xiaomi Mi4, then came Meizu MX4 and now comes Elephone P4000. While this company may not be as famous as the other two, it sure is trying hard to get a portion of the market share as soon as possible. The Hong Kong based company already released three new cheap devices a few days back and now, its all set to launch its flagship device for the year, the Elephone P4000.</p>
<p>More often than not, Elephone takes design cues for its phones from successful flagships, and this time around, the P4000 takes inspiration from Xiaomi&#8217;s recently unveiled Mi4.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ELEPHONE-P4000背面.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-31637 aligncenter" alt="ELEPHONE P4000背面" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ELEPHONE-P4000背面-1024x538.jpg?x44794" width="590" height="309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ELEPHONE-P4000背面-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ELEPHONE-P4000背面-300x157.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>As you can see in the pictures, it looks a lot like Mi4, which is not really a bad thing given that we liked and praised Xiaomi&#8217;s design. The P4000 replicates the metal chassis on Xiaomi&#8217;s flagship and the overall design is as refined as well built as the Mi4.</p>
<p>The device will be powered by a Mediatek MT6592 Octa Core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. There&#8217;s a 5inch 720p display up front with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. We still don&#8217;t know whether there&#8217;s a MicroSD card slot on the device, but we sure hope so.</p>
<p>On the back, there&#8217;s a 13MP camera while on the front there&#8217;s an 8MP shooter. You get 3,150 mAh battery onboard, which is frankly quite large and enough for an entire day&#8217;s usage.</p>
<p>Overall Elephone P4000 looks like a great flagship and if the company manages to price it competitively, then we may have a winner here.</p>
<p>Stay tuned to the website for more updates.</p>
