<p>The South Korean tech giant is expected to release a number of budget smartphones worldwide in the coming days. A bunch of them have already cleared necessary certifications and have been even spotted on benchmarking platforms like Geekbench.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">One of these devices is the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Galaxy-M12/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy M12</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, which is a strong contender to launch next week in India. But we could be wrong as the teaser poster shared by Mukul Sharma (</span><a href="https://twitter.com/stufflistings/status/1345237003802054658"><span style="font-weight: 400">@stufllistings</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">) has the text #MAXUP. Also, he says that this handset will come with a ‘BIG’ screen.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Additionally, earlier this week, Tushar Mehta of XDA Developers also </span><a href="https://twitter.com/thetymonbay/status/1344531648008765440"><span style="font-weight: 400">suggested</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that his phone will not be the Galaxy M12. Hence, the only thing that matches with #MAXUP and ‘BIG’ screen is the Samsung SM-M625F, which was </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/11/galaxy-tab-m62-first-tablet-galaxy-m-series/"><span style="font-weight: 400">reported last month</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> to launch as the first Galaxy M series tablet &#8211; Galaxy Tab M62.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, an </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/07/samsung-galaxy-m62-sm-m625f-256gb-leak/"><span style="font-weight: 400">older report</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> on the same devices said it to be a smartphone &#8211; Galaxy M62. Also, the leaked teaser poster showcases a dew-drop notch. Hence, it could be a phablet like the Galaxy J Max instead of a tablet.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Anyway, we will know everything about this upcoming device if </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> is indeed announcing it next week. Maybe, we will learn more about it before the official announcement itself.</span></p>
