HONOR, the former sub-brand of HUAWEI is expected to launch its first-ever smartphone after separating from its parent company in the coming days. This handset is expected to be the long-rumored HONOR V40. Ahead of its official announcement, the phone’s gaming benchmark result has emerged on the internet.

Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, shared the GameBench test result for the gameplay of the popular mobile game ‘Game for Peace’ on HONOR V40. For those unaware, GameBench is a benchmarking platform for games, whereas ‘Game for Peace’ is nothing but a modified PUBG Mobile for the Chinese market.

According to the test result, the device can run the game at an average of 90fps with 95% stability. Further, the test also reveals the GPU present in it to be ARM Mali-G77 MC9. Both of these indirectly suggest the upcoming HONOR V40 to feature at least 90Hz display and MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.

As per previous reports, the HONOR V40 is codenamed YORK with model number YOK-AN10. Since the handset has been certified by MIIT and 3C, we know that it will support 66W fast charging and will ship with the HUAWEI 66W SuperCharge charger bearing model number HW-110600C00.

Further, an alleged render, as well as a screen protector image, suggest this phone to arrive with a curved display sporting a dual punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. Last but not least, rumors also say the smartphone to come with more than 270Hz touch sampling rate and 45W fast wireless charging.
