<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor/">Honor</a> is adding an unusual accessory to its upcoming Honor 600 series, and it is probably one of the more interesting smartphone add-ons the company has shown in a while. Ahead of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/14/honor-600-series-chinese-variants-set-for-may-25-launch-with-8600mah-battery/">May 25 launch event</a>, Honor officially teased a small magnetic secondary display called the Magic Mini “Yao” Screen, designed to attach to the back of the phone.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="726" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-726x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-739249" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-726x1024.jpg 726w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-213x300.jpg 213w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-768x1083.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-1089x1536.jpg 1089w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-1452x2048.jpg 1452w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-696x982.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-1068x1506.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-1920x2708.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-298x420.jpg 298w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/003v0AaFly1idat90ygugj62bd452npg02-1-scaled.jpg 1815w" sizes="(max-width: 726px) 100vw, 726px" /></figure></div>

<p>At first glance, it looks a bit like a tiny smart badge mixed with a camera accessory.</p>

<p>The small circular display can function as a rear preview monitor, allowing users to frame selfies or group shots using the main rear cameras instead of the front camera. Honor is also including a four-level fill light system, which should help in darker environments or indoor shooting situations.</p>

<p>The accessory goes beyond photography too. According to the company, it can also work as a remote control for the phone, supporting functions like remote shooting and even scrolling through apps such as Douyin without directly touching the handset.</p>

<p>But Honor clearly is leaning into the lifestyle angle here as well. The display can show animated wallpapers, custom images, and decorative visuals, essentially turning the accessory into a small electronic badge or fashion accessory attached to the back of the phone. Promotional material heavily targets younger users with playful designs and decorative charms.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="540" height="720" data-id="739263" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_9961.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-739263" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_9961.png 540w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_9961-225x300.png 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_9961-315x420.png 315w" sizes="(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="540" height="720" data-id="739264" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_22428.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-739264" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_22428.png 540w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_22428-225x300.png 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/videoframe_22428-315x420.png 315w" sizes="(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>As for the phones themselves, the Honor 600 series is shaping up to be fairly ambitious for the segment. The standard Honor 600 is expected to feature a 1.5K flat display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, large 8,600mAh battery, and a 200MP main camera. The Pro version reportedly upgrades to a Dimensity 8550 processor and adds a dedicated telephoto camera alongside wireless charging support.</p>

<p>Honor is also pushing heavily into AI-enhanced photography and what it calls full-focal-length 4K live shooting.</p>

<p>Smartphone hardware has become fairly predictable lately, so unusual add-ons like this help brands stand out. The Honor 600 series and the new magnetic mini display accessory are both expected to launch officially on May 25.</p>

<p>According to the leak, the secondary display may attach magnetically to the back of the device. It can reportedly work as a remote camera controller, a fill light, or even as a small secondary display for photo transfers and wallpapers. The tipster also shared a blurred image showing the attachment on the rear panel of the phone.</p>

<h2><strong>Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>Globally, both phones come with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and very high peak brightness. The Honor 600 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Honor 600 Pro uses the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The camera specs include a 200MP main sensor and a 50MP front camera on the vanilla. The Pro version adds a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. As for the battery, both have a 7000mAh cell, or a smaller 6400mAh option in Europe. The Pro also supports 50W wireless charging.</p>

<p>For China, the biggest upgrade could be the battery. According to another tipster, <em>Smart Pikachu,</em> the Honor 600 will feature an 8600mAh battery, while the Honor 600 Pro comes with an 8000mAh unit, both larger than the global versions. The rest of the hardware specs are pretty much the same as the global models.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Honor 600 will be available in China in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants and in Lucky Star, Obsidian Black, Light Feature Blue, and Green Apple colors.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the Honor 600 Pro adds a 16GB/512GB model and has the same shades as the vanilla.</p>

<p>The HONOR Number series has occupied an interesting market position over the past few years. It&#8217;s not the kind of device where you feel compelled to buy the absolute top-end model, yet it&#8217;s equally difficult to point out any major shortcomings. As some users put it, it&#8217;s a &#8220;premium mid-range all-rounder with a distinct flagship flavor.&#8221;</p>

</div></figure>

<p>I&#8217;ve been using the HONOR 600 and 600 Pro side by side for quite some time now. Honestly, they don&#8217;t feel like two completely different phones. Instead, they feel like two different concentrations of the same excellent foundation. One is &#8220;more than enough and highly capable,&#8221; while the other is &#8220;that, plus a few serious upgrades.&#8221; Let&#8217;s break them down together, so you can clearly see the difference between this regular cup and the large cup.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738404" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151656.416-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<h3><strong>Design &amp; Build</strong></h3>

<p>At first glance, the two phones look nearly identical. But if you look closely, the main physical difference is that the standard model lacks a telephoto lens. If you put the 600, the 600 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro side by side, and only look at the camera module… even Apple&#8217;s own designers would have to do a double-take. But jokes aside, the biggest design change on this generation of HONOR Number series isn&#8217;t the color — it&#8217;s the craftsmanship.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738403" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151701.752-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>The build and finish are identical across both models. They feature a semi-transparent ultra-durable composite fiber back and a matte metal frame. The unit I have on hand is the White colorway. On this model, the texture of the semi-transparent back panel is at its most expressive. In low light, it resembles warm, polished jade. It resists smudges remarkably well, which is especially noticeable on this white finish. After a week of use, the back remains remarkably clean.</p>

<p>Both phones share the same display: a 6.57-inch AMOLED flat screen. And yes, it&#8217;s flat — a significant advantage for flat-screen enthusiasts — with extremely slim bezels. Combined with the largest corner radius of any Android device, the front-facing design projects a presence that easily punches above its mid-range class.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738406" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151829.667-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>The physical dimensions are identical. The only difference is weight. That extra 10 grams in the Pro model is barely noticeable in the hand, but it&#8217;s the price you pay for that telephoto lens. In a sense, those 10 grams are the most valuable 10 grams on this entire phone. It&#8217;s also worth noting that IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance are present on both devices. Whether you&#8217;re at the beach or caught in the rain, you won&#8217;t have to worry as long as you&#8217;re not intentionally submerging it. This level of protection remains rare at this price point.</p>

<h3><strong>Display</strong></h3>

<p>I&#8217;ll admit, I initially dismissed the &#8220;8000 nits HDR peak brightness&#8221; as marketing speak, reminiscent of the early &#8220;hundred-megapixel&#8221; craze.<br>But after using it, I stand corrected. The greatest value of this display isn&#8217;t that theoretical peak of 8000 nits — it&#8217;s the Sunlight Mode. You won&#8217;t notice it indoors, but under direct sunlight at noon, the screen automatically ramps up to another level. According to official data, at 20% APL, it can hit 4000 nits. The simple translation is: while other phones force you to shield the screen with your hand just to see what&#8217;s on it, you can continue to browse messages and use navigation without issue.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738409" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151925.346-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>Both displays share identical specifications: a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, and 1.07 billion colors. After using both the standard and Pro models for a week in low-light nighttime conditions, I can confirm that eye strain is significantly reduced compared to certain flagships with low-frequency PWM dimming. For those who tend to scroll through their phones for a while after turning off the lights, this display offers a distinct, yet often overlooked, advantage.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738410" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151954.349-1-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<h3><strong>System &amp; AI</strong></h3>

<p>Both phones run MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, and both feature the dedicated AI Button. I find the logic behind this AI button quite clever. It&#8217;s not a &#8220;press and talk&#8221; voice assistant, but rather a contextual trigger. For example, when you&#8217;re viewing photos in the gallery, a long press of the AI button directly launches AI Image to Video 2.0 — select a few images, type a description, and generate a 3 to 8-second video. This feature is available on both the standard and Pro models, and the experience is identical.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738412" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152041.766-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>These AI experiences are the same across both models. Where the gap truly opens is the underlying performance headroom.<br>The Pro model&#8217;s Snapdragon 8 Elite is significantly more powerful than the standard model&#8217;s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. In practical AI terms, this means the Pro generates videos faster, handles multitasking more smoothly, and keeps more apps active in the background. You might not notice it in everyday casual use, but if you&#8217;re simultaneously running AI generation, navigation, and background music streaming, the Pro model&#8217;s composure becomes apparent.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738413" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152100.163-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>Performance &amp; Battery Life: Same 7000mAh, Different Ceilings</p>

<p>Both phones pack a 7000mAh battery. That&#8217;s an extraordinary number, made even more impressive by the fact that both maintain a 7.8mm thickness. In real-world testing, the standard 600 easily lasts two days on a single charge with light to moderate use. The Pro model, with its more powerful chipset and marginally higher power draw, still comfortably delivers a day and a half to two days of use.<br>On the charging front:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738414" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152203.629-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<ul><li>Both support 80W wired fast charging</li><li>The standard model supports 27W wired reverse charging</li><li>The Pro model adds 50W wireless charging<br>This wireless charging capability has a real impact on usage habits. If you&#8217;re accustomed to simply placing your phone on a wireless charging pad, the Pro model will feel significantly more convenient. If that&#8217;s not part of your routine, the standard model is perfectly adequate.</li></ul>

<h3><strong>Cameras</strong></h3>

<p>Earlier, I mentioned that the Pro model&#8217;s extra 10 grams over the standard version is the most valuable 10 grams on the entire device. This is why — the periscopic telephoto lens.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738415" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152248.122-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>The main cameras on both phones are identical. Daytime, nighttime, and low-light shots are highly consistent between the two. The main camera, paired with the AI Night Engine, delivers a very high success rate, especially in low light — as long as you keep the phone reasonably steady, blur is rarely an issue.</p>

<p>But the moment you zoom to mid or long range, the difference becomes immediately apparent. The standard 600 relies on cropping from the main camera beyond roughly 3x, where quality begins to visibly degrade. The 600 Pro adds a 50MP periscopic telephoto lens with excellent stabilization, offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x hybrid zoom.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738417" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_152301.980-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>Here&#8217;s a real-world example: from an overpass, I used the Pro model&#8217;s 10x zoom to capture the illuminated signage of a distant building. The detail was remarkably sharp — not at all what you&#8217;d expect from a mid-range device. So the camera summary is straightforward: the standard HONOR 600 has a very strong main camera, covering 90% of daily shooting scenarios. The HONOR 600 Pro offers the main camera plus a periscopic telephoto, covering 99% of scenarios, and adds a genuinely creative zoom range.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="960" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738419" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HONOR-Series.mp4_20260515_151804.688-840x420.jpg 840w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<p>We&#8217;ve summarized the strengths of both phones for your reference.<br>The HONOR 600 series represents a very smart product strategy. It doesn&#8217;t cripple the standard version just to make the Pro model look &#8220;stronger.&#8221;What it trims is primarily the periscopic telephoto lens and wireless charging, with a slightly lower-tier chipset that remains perfectly adequate for most users. The HONOR 600 Pro builds on the standard version by adding: the periscopic telephoto lens, 50W wireless charging, the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship core, and more responsive AI processing under heavy loads.</p>

<p>Pricing has already been announced for the EU market: the standard 600 is effectively €499.9 after voucher with screen insurance, while the Pro is priced at €799.9 bundled with a tablet or projector. The UK Pro model is priced at £899.99.</p>

<p>So which one should you pick? Go with the HONOR 600 if you prefer a flat display, put battery life above all else, want a dependable primary phone that&#8217;ll easily last two to three years without breaking the bank, and don&#8217;t rely heavily on telephoto photography.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor/">Honor</a> is getting ready to launch its new 600 series smartphones in China, and the company is placing a strong focus on battery life and imaging capabilities this time around. The company has officially confirmed that the Chinese variants of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/22/honor-600-600-pro-launch-price-specs-malaysia/">Honor 600 series</a> will debut on May 25, 2026, at 19:00 local time. Actor Xiao Zhan will continue as the brand ambassador for the lineup and is expected to appear in the launch promotions as well.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738228" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wqjayi0j34772d14qr.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Honor says the China models will feature an 8600mAh battery, noticeably larger than the 7000mAh units found in the global variants. That said, it is not a massive jump over the Chinese Honor 500 series models, which already offered 8000mAh batteries. Still, the added capacity should make the phones especially appealing to heavy users upgrading from older devices.</p>

<p>The company is also teasing a stronger focus on imaging. According to the official details shared so far, the series will support 4K flash “mirrorless” Live recording and use a 200MP ultra-clear main sensor. While Honor has not gone into full technical details yet, the setup seems aimed at improving low-light video, live content creation, and overall image clarity.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="694" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-694x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-738230" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-694x1024.jpg 694w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-203x300.jpg 203w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-768x1132.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-1042x1536.jpg 1042w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-1389x2048.jpg 1389w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-696x1026.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-1068x1575.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-1920x2831.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-285x420.jpg 285w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/005THzYTly1id4wpus8l3j32m83uyhdv-scaled.jpg 1736w" sizes="(max-width: 694px) 100vw, 694px" /></figure></div>

<p>Honor has also revealed one of the launch colors called “Lucky Star”, which appears to feature a glossy, light-shifting finish on the back panel. The design looks a bit more playful compared to the global models released earlier.</p>

<p>The Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro share a largely similar foundation, including display, battery, and core design. However, the Pro model brings several meaningful upgrades that set it apart. Here’s a closer look at the key differences between the two.</p>

<h2><strong>Performance and chipset</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="582" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-1024x582.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-735141" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-1024x582.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-300x171.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-768x437.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-1536x874.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-2048x1165.png 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-696x396.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-1068x607.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-1920x1092.png 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-136-739x420.png 739w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Honor 600 key features</figcaption></figure>

<p>The standard <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600">Honor 600</a> is powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-gen-4">Snapdragon 7 Gen 4</a> chipset, targeting upper mid-range performance. In contrast, the Honor 600 Pro steps up significantly with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a>, a flagship-grade chip that delivers better gaming, multitasking, and AI performance.</p>

<h2><strong>Telephoto camera advantage</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="566" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-1024x566.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-735144" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-1024x566.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-300x166.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-768x424.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-1536x848.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-2048x1131.png 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-696x385.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-1068x590.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-1920x1060.png 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-139-760x420.png 760w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Honor 600 Pro camera specs</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Both phones feature a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, but the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600-pro">Honor 600 Pro</a> model gains an extra edge with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. This sensor offers 3.5x optical zoom, making the Pro better suited for long-range photography.</p>

<h2><strong>Wireless charging support</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-1024x589.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-735143" width="1024" height="589" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-1024x589.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-300x173.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-768x442.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-1536x883.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-2048x1178.png 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-696x400.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-1068x614.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-1920x1104.png 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-138-730x420.png 730w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Honor 600 Pro key features</figcaption></figure>

<p>While both devices support 80W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging, only the Honor 600 Pro includes 50W wireless charging. This makes it more versatile for users who prefer cable-free charging.</p>

<h3><strong>Positioning and use case</strong></h3>

<p>The Honor 600 is aimed at users who want a balanced mid-range device with strong core specs. Meanwhile, the Honor 600 Pro is clearly positioned as a more premium offering, bringing flagship-level performance and enhanced camera capabilities.</p>

<p>Both phones still share several highlights, including a 6.5-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel front camera, a 7,000mAh battery, MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and an IP69K rating. The choice ultimately comes down to whether you value flagship performance and better zoom capabilities enough to opt for the Pro.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600">Honor 600</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600-pro">600 Pro</a> carry the model numbers VKJ-NX9 and VKP-NX9, respectively. The VKJ-NX9 variant, which is the standard model, has now appeared on Geekbench. The listing confirms that the device is powered by a chipset with model number SM7750, indicating the presence of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. It also shows 8GB of RAM and Android 16, likely layered with MagicOS 10. In benchmark tests, the device scored 1318 in single-core and 4075 in multi-core performance.</p>

<p>The chipset marks an upgrade for the Honor 600, as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-400">Honor 400</a> featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Other reports suggest that the Honor 600 may feature a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include a 200-megapixel primary camera and a large 9,000mAh battery.</p>

<h3><strong>Honor 400 specifications</strong></h3>

<p>To recall, the Honor 400 features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. It comes with a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies, while the rear setup includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor along with an additional 12-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide shots.</p>

<p>Under the hood, the Honor 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and ample storage options. The device houses a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity with 80W wired charging. Its European edition has aa 5,300mAh battery with 66W charging.</p>

<p>Honor is also working on the Honor 600 series for China. Speculations are rife that the Honor 600 and 600 Pro’s China editions could be powered by a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, offering a more premium experience compared to the global variants.</p>

Images of the upcoming Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro have just surfaced online, and yes, they look more like iPhones than Honor phones.</p>

<p>The back panel features a full-width horizontal bar that houses the camera system, LED flash, and laser autofocus. Like an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-17-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 17 Pro</a>. Its color options are also said to include black, gold, and an orange finish. Like an iPhone 17 Pro.</p>

<h2><strong>Honor 600 / 600 Pro Expected Specifications&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>On the front, both devices are expected to feature a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.</p>

<p>Under the hood, things are still a bit unclear. Reports suggest the phones will use a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset, though it’s not confirmed whether that means last year’s flagship silicon or a newer, slightly toned-down “s” variant.</p>

<p>As for cameras, Honor is reportedly using a 200-megapixel main sensor with built-in hardware image stabilization. The Pro model is expected to expand on that with additional ultrawide and zoom cameras.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-731707" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Honor-600-render-1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>More impressively, Honor is expected to use a silicon-based battery with a massive <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/28/honor-600-specs-leak-9000mah-200mp-snapdragon-8-elite/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">9000mAh capacity</a>. The Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, in comparison, has 8000mAh cell with 80W charging. </p>

<p>Both models are also expected to feature a metal frame and glass panels. Other reported features include wireless charging support and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The ultrasonic scanner, in particular, would be a step up from the optical in-display sensor on the Honor 500.</p>

<p>There’s still no official word on when the Honor 600 series will launch or how much it will cost. We will keep you updated if any new information emerges.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honor</a> introduced its last number series, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-400/https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-500/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honor 500</a> smartphones, in November last year. The time is now approaching for the brand to introduce the successors, which will reportedly be called the Honor 600.</p>

<p>The device was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/06/honor-600-display-batterry-specifications-tipped/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previously revealed</a> to feature a 9,000mAh battery and a 6.57-inch screen. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has added more specifications to the mix.</p>

<h2><strong>Honor 600 Specifications (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>According to the latest information, the Honor 600’s 6.57-inch screen will have a LPTS 1.5K resolution and 2.5D curved glass.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The headline feature, however, is still the battery. A 9,000mAh silicon battery would be unusually large for a mainstream smartphone. Silicon-based batteries are gradually becoming more common, allowing brands to increase capacity without making devices dramatically thicker.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="396" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Honor-600-Specs-Leak.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-728859" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Honor-600-Specs-Leak.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Honor-600-Specs-Leak-300x132.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Honor-600-Specs-Leak-768x338.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Honor-600-Specs-Leak-696x306.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the camera side, the leak mentions a 200MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size, paired with a telephoto lens. A sensor that large could help with low-light performance and detail retention, while the telephoto lens suggests the company isn’t cutting back on zoom capabilities.</p>

<p>Interestingly, an engineering sample of the phone has reportedly been tested with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It’s interesting because the Honor 500 features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which means the Honor 600 would be a massive performance jump.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="661" height="1016" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/HOnor-500-series-teaser-.png?x44794" alt="Honor 500 series teaser-" class="wp-image-714843" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/HOnor-500-series-teaser-.png 661w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/HOnor-500-series-teaser--195x300.png 195w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/HOnor-500-series-teaser--273x420.png 273w" sizes="(max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px" /><figcaption>Honor 500 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Other reported features include a metal frame, wireless charging support, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The ultrasonic scanner, in particular, would be a step up from the optical in-display sensor on the Honor 500.</p>

<p>Of course, these details are based on leaks, and specifications can change before launch. However, since this information comes from a credible source, it may be reliable. We will keep you updated if any new information emerges.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/categorgy/honor">Honor</a> appears to be preparing the next generation of its number-series smartphones. Last year, the brand introduced the Honor 400 series in June, followed by the Honor 500 range in November. Based on this launch pattern, the Honor 600 series could debut as early as June this year in China, or possibly even earlier. Well ahead of any official announcement, the first details about the device have surfaced through a Weibo post shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station.</p>

<h3><strong>Honor 600 display, battery size tipped</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="199" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-33.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-726060" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-33.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-33-300x58.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-33-768x149.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-33-696x135.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Honor 600 key specs tipped by DCS</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the tipster, Honor is reportedly working on a new smartphone featuring a 6.57-inch display. Alongside the screen size, the leak suggests that the device may pack a significantly larger battery, potentially reaching around 9,000mAh capacity. This phone appears to be the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600">Honor 600</a>.</p>

<p>The recently unveiled <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/iqoo-z11-turbo">iQOO Z11 Turbo</a> features a 6.59-inch display, carries the largest battery in its class at 7,600mAh. However, the upcoming Honor 600, which is tipped to feature a similarly sized screen, could surpass that benchmark with a significantly larger battery capacity, potentially setting a new standard for endurance in this segment if the leak turns out to be accurate.</p>

<p>The tipster has not revealed additional hardware details such as the chipset, camera specifications, or charging capabilities, and the official name of the device has not been confirmed either. Despite this, the specifications align closely with expectations for the standard Honor 600, which is likely to succeed last year’s Honor 500.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-500">Honor 500</a> featured an iPhone Air-like design and included a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It was powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and housed an 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. The device also offered a 50-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system comprising a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.</p>

<p>It remains unclear whether the Honor 600 will retain the same design language or chipset as its predecessor. There is no official confirmation regarding a global launch yet, but the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-600-lite">Honor 600 Lite</a> has quietly appeared in multiple certification listings, suggesting that international variants may be in development. If the Lite model is indeed heading to global markets, the standard Honor 600 and possibly a Pro version could follow, although their specifications may differ from the Chinese editions.</p>
