Huawei’s Honor brand has launched two new smartphones in India. The Honor 9S and Honor 9A debuts as the brand’ affordable offering for the Indian market.

The two smartphones had earlier been launched in other markets but in India, the Honor 9S is on offer for Rs. 6499 ($86) but will be sold for Rs. 5999 ($80) during its first sale. The phone will be available from Flipkart starting from August 6th. On the other hand, the Honor 9A carries an Rs. 9999 (~$133) price tag and will be sold exclusively on Amazon.in. The first sale will take place on August 6th with the phone having a slightly reduced Rs. 8999 ($120) price tag.

As a reminder, the Honor 9S sports a 5.45-inch display which supports HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device packs an 8-megapixel selfie camera. At the rear aspect, the phone packs a dual-camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel lens and an LED flash. The rear cameras are house din a square-shaped module.

The Honor 9S is powered by an Helio P22 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. The phone has 32 GB of native storage. It packs a 3,020mAh battery and lacks a fingerprint scanner. The phone comes in  Blue and Black colours.

On the other hand, the Honor 9A which is the pricier model features a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display that supports 720 x 1600 pixels resolutions. The Helio P22 SoC powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. It has 64 GB of built-in storage.

For photography, the Honor 9A has an 8-megapixel front camera. The rear aspect houses a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. It comes in  Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colours.

Honor has unveiled three smartphones names Honor 9S, Honor 9C and Honor 9C in Russia. These are budget-friendly phones from the company that are packed with modest specs. These devices are equipped with Android 10 OS and Magic UI but lack support for Google Mobile Services.

Honor 9S specifications and features

The Honor 9S is the cheapest as compared to Honor 9A and Honor 9C.  The handset is priced at RUB 6,990 (~$95). The color variants of the Honor 9S are black, red and blue.

The Honor 9S has a display of 5.45 inches and it supports HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a frontal snapper of 8-mgeapixel. The rear side of the phone has a square-shaped camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel lens and an LED flash. The Helio P22 powers it with 2 GB of RAM. The phone has 32 GB of native storage. It is driven by 3,020mAh battery. It lacks a fingerprint scanner.

Honor 9A specifications and price

The Honor 9A has a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display that supports 720 x 1600 pixels resolutions. The Helio P22 SoC powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. It has 64 GB of built-in storage. The Honor 9A has a front camera of 8-megapixel. Its back panel has a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup.

The Honor 9A has a 5,000mAh battery. It has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset is priced at RUB 10,990 (~$150) and it comes in black, blue and green colors.

Honor 9C specifications and price

Costliest phone in the pack, the Honor 9C flaunts a 6.39-inch punch-hole display that supports HD+ resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. It also features an 8-megapixel selfie camera.  The rear shell of the phone has a triple camera setup that is compiled with a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Honor 9C is powered by Kirin 710A chipset. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage. There is a 4,000mAh battery inside. It comes with a fingerprint reader and NFC. It costs 12,990 RUB (~$175) and it comes in black and blue colors.
