Huawei’s Honor brand has launched two new smartphones in India. The Honor 9S and Honor 9A debuts as the brand’ affordable offering for the Indian market.

The two smartphones had earlier been launched in other markets but in India, the Honor 9S is on offer for Rs. 6499 ($86) but will be sold for Rs. 5999 ($80) during its first sale. The phone will be available from Flipkart starting from August 6th. On the other hand, the Honor 9A carries an Rs. 9999 (~$133) price tag and will be sold exclusively on Amazon.in. The first sale will take place on August 6th with the phone having a slightly reduced Rs. 8999 ($120) price tag.Honor 9S

As a reminder, the Honor 9S sports a 5.45-inch display which supports HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device packs an 8-megapixel selfie camera. At the rear aspect, the phone packs a dual-camera setup that includes an 8-megapixel lens and an LED flash. The rear cameras are house din a square-shaped module.Honor 9S

The Honor 9S is powered by an Helio P22 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. The phone has 32 GB of native storage. It packs a 3,020mAh battery and lacks a fingerprint scanner. The phone comes in  Blue and Black colours.Honor 9A

On the other hand, the Honor 9A which is the pricier model features a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display that supports 720 x 1600 pixels resolutions. The Helio P22 SoC powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. It has 64 GB of built-in storage.

For photography, the Honor 9A has an 8-megapixel front camera. The rear aspect houses a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. It comes in  Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colours.
