Recently, Huawei decided to promote sales for the Ascend G6 (TD-SCDMA/GSM/dual-SIM) by lowing its price to 1170 RMB. The G6 uses Huawei’s popular “double C” design. It is only 7.5mm thick and weighs 115g.

The Huawei Ascend G6 is available in eight colors and sports a 4.5-inch IPS display screen with a 960 x 540 resolution. Its processor is the 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset and it has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory storage. Ir uses the Android 4.2 OS and the new Emotion UI 2.0. As for camera specs, it has a 5mp front-facing camera and supports beauty enhancement.

The back has a very simple design. The main camera is located at the top left. Beside it is the phone’s LED light. In the middle of the back is Huawei’s logo.

The Huawei Ascend G6 is offers with plastics body cover while the other variant is also available in metal body cover. The phone is powered by quad-core 1.2Ghz processor and packs with 4.5 inch screen size qHD technology (540 x 960 pixel resolution).

Huawei is ready to release the new Ascend G6 smartphone, this phone has been rumored a months ago and now the leaked picture is unveiled.

The Huawei Ascend G6 is the one of mid-range smartphone that has similar design with the Huawei Ascend P6 and those phone will be showing at Mobile World Congress 2014 event in Barcelona.

As you can see on the picture, the phone will be covered with colorfull body, and the phone will be offered with $300 USD price tag for unlock version. The phone is packs with 4.5 inch screen size, powered by MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor that running on 1.3GHz clock-speed.

Huawei seems ready to release their new smartphone, Huawei Ascend G6, while this phone has a similar body design with Ascend P6 but the new G6 specs is lower than Ascend P6.

This phone is develop bu Huawei to following the new stratgey between premium and low-end, this marketing strategy is also doing by Apple with iPhone 5C, and Motorola is also doing the same thing with Motorola Moto G, And now the Ascend G6 coming from Huawei.

As we mentioned on the begining of this article, the Huawei Ascend G6bwill has lower specs, this phone is also has lower resolution qHD screen (540 x 960 pixels), the processor is slower too, with MediaTek’s MT6582 quad-core chip clocked at 1.7GHz, while the P6 is sports with 2GB of RAM, this G6 phone is aonly has 1GB of RAM.

Coupled with 8 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera, the Huawei Ascend G6 is working for TD-SCDMA network, making it compatible with China Mobile’s 3G network.

The phone is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and running their own Emotion UI 2.0. There is no information about the price and release date so we have to wait.
