Remember the device that is referred to as the Huawei Mate X? Latest reports say it will launch as the Huawei MateRS Porsche Design.

Huawei is said to have created a hashtag with the name on Weibo. The device which has appeared on TENAA for a few weeks as the NEO-AL00, had its TENAA page updated recently. The update says the phone has 6GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Sources also say it will be powered by the Kirin 970.

Unconfirmed reports say the MateRS Porsche Edition will be similar to the Mate 10 Pro and not an entirely new device. So apart from the Porsche Design branding on the phone and software, it will not look significantly different from the Mate 10 Pro.

There is no information regarding release and pricing but we expect it to be Huawei’s most expensive phone when it launches.
