Huawei has now rolled out its first system update for the Watch D. The system update will improve the overall performance of the Watch D, as well as its software system.

The new system update for the Huawei Watch D brings system stability and optimization for the smartphone. The first set of customers to receive the update are those in Huawei’s home market of China, while other places will receive the update subsequently. It is understood that the update will be in batches but will cover all the Watch D devices already produced irrespective of their current locations. There are however no significant improvements from what was released last year.

The Watch D is a bold statement by Huawei, as it continues to pick up from the debilitating effects of the United States sanction regime against it. The Huawei Watch D has a lot of impressive health and fitness sensors including its standout blood pressure monitoring capability. The exciting Huawei Watch D has been the subject of some speculations and leaks, mainly fueled by its innovative blood pressure monitoring capability. There are indeed only a few devices that offer blood pressure monitoring, and the Huawei Watch D is in this class. The device is expected to be officially unveiled on December 23 during Huawei’s flagship launch conference. A video has now surfaced that showcases all the key features relating to its blood pressure measurement capabilities.

The hands-on video leak reveals the unboxing of the Huawei Watch D from its retail box and the unpacking reveals a sturdy black strap for the Watch D. The video also shows the rectangular display and large bezels on the corner of the Huawei flagship smartwatch. The inner display of the watch is bigger than its predecessors, thus providing a more enhanced experience using the smartwatch.

A demonstration of the blood pressure monitoring feature was also shown in the video. The user kept the smartwatch on his wrist in a straight position. The sturdy strap ensures a firm grip on the wrists to guarantee better blood pressure measurements.

There are several sensors on the back of the Huawei Watch D and two buttons on the right side. The user interface of the Watch D shows that the device features blood pressure levels consisting of high and low pressure, as well as pulse. The watch also features an electrocardiogram (EEG) in addition to several other important health monitoring sensors.
