The post Infinix Note 60 Pro key specifications confirmed before launch appeared first on Gizmochina.

Infinix is getting ready to launch the Note 60 Pro in India. The phone first showed up globally back in February 2026, and the India version looks set to follow pretty closely, with a few localized touches and launch offers.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro is scheduled to go official on April 13 at 12 PM IST, with pre-orders opening a few days earlier on April 8. It’ll be available in Deep Ocean Blue, Mocha Brown, and Solar Orange, which, at least from the renders, look fairly distinct.

One of the more unusual bits here is the back. Infinix is using what it calls an active matrix display. It’s essentially a hidden LED panel that lights up for notifications, battery status, and a few custom animations. It stays invisible otherwise, so the back doesn’t look busy all the time. The idea is somewhat similar to what Nothing has been doing, just executed differently.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, built on a 4nm process. It’s paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Nothing too surprising here, but it should be more than enough for everyday use and some gaming on the side.

On the front, there’s a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Infinix is also claiming peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, which sounds impressive on paper.

Camera setup is fairly standard for this category: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 13MP front camera. It does support 4K video recording on both sides, which is still a nice addition at this level.

Battery capacity is listed at 6,500mAh, with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. The wireless charging support sets this mid-range apart from its competition. Other features include stereo speakers tuned by JBL, an IP64 rating, and Android 16 with XOS 16 on top.

For India, the hardware is expected to remain mostly unchanged, including the metal frame and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Infinix is also expected to bundle in some launch offers.

All in all, the Note 60 Pro seems to be leaning heavily on its design and display, while still covering the basics on performance and battery.

The post Infinix Note 60 Pro India launch confirmed for April 13 appeared first on Gizmochina.

Infinix looks set to bring the Note 60 Pro to India soon, and it’s already starting to tease some of the phone’s more unusual features. The device was announced globally earlier this year.

The company has begun its local campaign by highlighting what it calls the Active Matrix Display on the back. It’s essentially a set of LEDs built into the camera module, somewhat similar in concept to Nothing’s Glyph interface. It can show notifications, battery status, incoming calls, and even simple animations without needing to flip the phone. It’s more of a visual feature than a practical one, but it does help the phone stand out a bit.

Infinix has also confirmed that another feature will be revealed on April 4 at 12 PM, though most of the core specs are already out there from the global launch.

Up front, the phone uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Local peak brightness is claimed to be 4,500 nits, which sounds impressive, though global peak or full-screen brightness will matter more for outdoor visibility.

Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. That should be enough for everyday tasks like browsing, social media, and some casual gaming.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, along with an 8MP ultrawide. On the front, there’s a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery is one of the stronger points of this phone. It packs a 6,500mAh cell, with support for 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, along with reverse charging options. It runs Android 16 with XOS 16, and carries an IP64 rating for basic dust and splash resistance.

Reports point to a mid-April timeline in India, with April 13 being mentioned in a few listings. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but more details should show up as the teasers continue.

Overall, the Note 60 Pro doesn’t look radically different on paper, but the rear LED system and large battery could give it a bit of an edge in a crowded mid-range market.

Infinix has officially unveiled its new Note 60 series for global markets, introducing the Note 60 and Note 60 Pro with a focus on performance upgrades, interactive design elements, and long-term software support. The lineup marks a shift for the brand as it brings Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware back into the Note series while experimenting with unique rear lighting and display features. Here’s a look at the specifications and features of both smartphones.

Infinix Note 60 series specifications and features

The Infinix Note 60 and Note 60 Pro feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 4500 nits, aiming to deliver smooth visuals and strong outdoor visibility. The panels support a wide color gamut and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The design includes a metal frame, slim borders, and curved edges, giving the devices a more premium appearance compared to previous generations.

The Note 60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, making it one of the first Infinix Note devices in recent years to adopt a Snapdragon platform. The standard Note 60 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor. Both are paired with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB storage, alongside gaming-focused features such as vapor chamber cooling and antenna enhancements for stable connectivity during gameplay.

The Note 60 Pro introduces an Active Matrix display alongside its rear camera setup. It remains hidden until activated, showing notifications, animated effects or custom interactions. The regular Note 60 instead uses RGB Halo lighting to indicate alerts and status changes. Both phones carry dual rear cameras headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

The devices run XOS 16 based on Android 16, with three OS upgrades and five years of security patches promised. Both models housing a 6500 mAh battery. The Note 60 supports 45W wired charging, while the Pro variant increases charging speeds and adds wireless charging capabilities. The post Infinix Note 60, Note 60 Pro launched with 144Hz display, Dimensity 7400 / Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 appeared first on Gizmochina.

Infinix is teasing its upcoming Note 60 Pro, and early looks suggest it’s mixing design cues from some of the most talked-about phones from last year. The teaser showcases a large new camera island that resembles the latest iPhone 17 Pros, but borrows a design element inspired by Nothing’s Phone (3). So let’s check it out.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Teased

Looking at the teaser poster, the Infinix Note 60 Pro features a bold rear camera island that seems inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro Max. But what stands out is the active Matrix Display on this module. You also get an active dot-matrix style panel that can display info like time, weather, notifications, music controls and charging progress. The dynamic visuals in the back of the phone draw creative parallels to the Nothing Phone (3)’s Glyph interface, but with its own twist.

Pair this with a choice of new colorways, namely Solar Orange, and the Note 60 Pro is offering a vibrant new look. The brand has also confirmed that the upcoming mid range phone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G. On the front, this model sports a tall 6.78-inch Ultra HDR display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers the Note 60 Pro, which supports 90W wired fast charging and a new “Battery Self Healing Tech”.

Other notable features include a 50MP Night Master main camera, JBL tuned stereo speakers, a premium leather textured back panel, a 3D IceCore VC vapor-chamber cooling system to keep temps in check, and more. The company has yet to confirm the launch date and pricing details, but the device is set to debut soon. We can expect the Infinix Note 60 Pro to be unveiled during the MWC 2026 event.
