<p>Details about <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/infinix/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Infinix</a>&#8216;s upcoming Zero 40 series have leaked ahead of its official launch tomorrow. The leak <em>(via <a href="https://spillsomebeans.com/infinix-zero-40-series-exclusive-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SpillSomeBeans</a>)</em> reveals the specifications, features, and prices for both the Zero 40 5G and Zero 40 4G. Let&#8217;s take a closer look.</p>

<h2><strong>Infinix Zero 40 5G Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The crown jewel appears to be the Infinix Zero 40 5G. This model boasts a large 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 1500Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 provides a layer of protection against scratches and nicks.</p>

<p>Under the hood, the phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, paired with a generous 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB, both utilizing speedy UFS 3.1 technology.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="558" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-647423" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor-300x186.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor-768x476.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor-696x432.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor-677x420.jpg 677w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Processor-356x220.jpg 356w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which supports a range of charging options including 45W wired, 20W wireless, and even 10W reverse wired charging – ideal for topping up compatible devices on the go.</p>

<p>The camera system on the Zero 40 5G also seems well-equipped. There’s a 108MP ISOCELL HM6 main sensor with both Optical (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization support (EIS).&nbsp;</p>

<p>It&#8217;s joined by a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, along with a quad-LED flash.&nbsp; For selfies, the phone is said to have a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor with dual flash and EIS on the front.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Both front and rear cameras can capture 4K videos at 60 fps. An interesting addition, however, is an integration with GoPro devices. Though specific details remain unclear.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="538" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Specifications-Leak.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-647422" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Specifications-Leak.jpg 538w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Specifications-Leak-269x300.jpg 269w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-5G-Specifications-Leak-377x420.jpg 377w" sizes="(max-width: 538px) 100vw, 538px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the software side, the Zero 40 5G runs the latest Android 14 with Infinix&#8217;s XOS 14.5 on top. The company promises at least three years of security patches and an upgrade to Android 16 in the future. Dust and water resistance with an IP54 rating, WiFi 6E, NFC, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and JBL-tuned dual speakers round out the feature set.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Infinix Zero 40 4G Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>For budget-conscious users, the Infinix Zero 40 (4G) is a more affordable option. While it shares the same large 6.78-inch AMOLED display, it has a slightly lower 120Hz refresh rate. Powering this device is the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and a substantial 512GB of storage. Notably, wireless charging is absent on this model.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-647424" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Infinix-Zero-40-4G-Specifications-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>Price</strong></h2>

<p>The Zero 40 (4G) will be available in three color options – Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow, and Rock Black – for a price of USD 279.&nbsp; The 5G variant, sporting the more powerful processor and additional features, will retail for USD 399 and come in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black colorways.</p>

<p>With the consistent growth of social media, smartphones are akin to pocket cameras that capture moments of our lives. Brands have been improving the photography experience in their offerings, and it seems like Infinix is innovating on the videography side. Its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/21/infinix-zero-40-5g-hands-on-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upcoming Zero 40 series</a> was just spotted in a fresh leak, hinting that the new phones could level up the vlogging game.</p>

<h3>Infinix Zero 40: Is a Camera really necessary for high quality vlogs?</h3>

<p>As smartphone camera technology improves, devices have become the go-to gadget for most and all kinds of casual photography. Adding social platforms into the mix, and even vlogging has seen immense growth in recent years. People are now recording small snippets of their lives and sharing them with everyone across the world. Smartphones bring the ease of recording at any time and anywhere. Now, it seems like the Infinix Zero 40 series wants to focus on this, replacing vlog cameras with a &#8220;vlogging smartphone.&#8221;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-1024x768.jpg?x10805" alt="Infinix Zero 40 5G Hands-On Leak" class="wp-image-646506" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-2048x1536.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-1920x1440.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IMG_20240815_174303_371-265x198.jpg 265w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Infinix Zero 40 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>To meet this growing demand for portable vlog quality cameras, Infinix&#8217;s Zero 40 is apparently bringing 4K recording at 60FPS from not just the rear, but also the front camera. 4K 60FPS is often seen in higher end smartphones, and the Zero 40 aims to be just that, a vlogging flagship. Alongside 4K capture, Infinix would also offer video stabilization on the rear and front. One of the sensors includes a 50-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, which isn&#8217;t common in the sub $500 price range. The main sensor is expected to be a 108-megapixel sensor with OIS and EIS. </p>

<p>Infinix Zero 40 series leak confirms support for multiple shooting modes, namely GoPro Mode, Vlog Mode, and AI Vlog. Finally, the leak revealed the color options of the upcoming Zero 40 lineup. The base Zero 40 4G would arrive in Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow, and Rock Black. Meanwhile, Infinix&#8217;s Zero 40 5G would launch in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black. The brand is expected to unveil the devices later this week, so stick around for more updates. </p>
