<h2>Key Features of MINISFORUM&#8217;s Neptune HN2673 Mini PC</h2>

<p>Under the hood, the Neptune HN2673 is equipped with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/intel/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Intel</a> Core i7-12650H processor, a robust 10-core, 16-thread chip running at speeds of up to 4.7 GHz. While it may offer slightly reduced CPU performance compared to the NAD9&#8217;s Core i9-12900H chip, it compensates with its impressive graphics capabilities, thanks to the inclusion of an Intel Arc A730M discrete <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/graphics-card/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">graphics card</a> with 6GB GDDR6 memory. The performance of the Intel Arc A730M is between the RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060, making it more than capable of handling most 1080P games.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="596" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-1024x596.webp?x10805" alt="MINISFORUM Neptune HN2673 Mini PC" class="wp-image-543649" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-1024x596.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-300x175.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-768x447.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-696x405.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-1068x622.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5-721x420.webp 721w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-5.webp 1077w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In terms of expandability, the HN2673 doesn&#8217;t disappoint. It features two <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ddr4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DDR4</a> memory slots, supporting a maximum of 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance. The mini PC also includes an M.2 slot that supports PCIe 4.0 NVMe <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ssd/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SSDs</a> with capacities of up to 2TB. Additionally, it offers two 2.5-inch SATA 3 slots for hard drives or SSDs, an M.2 2230 slot for a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and built-in support for Wi-Fi 6E and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/bluetooth/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bluetooth</a> 5.3, ensuring seamless connectivity options.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="997" height="628" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4.webp?x10805" alt="MINISFORUM Neptune HN2673 Mini PC" class="wp-image-543648" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4.webp 997w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4-300x189.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4-768x484.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4-696x438.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/MINISFORUM-Neptune-HN2673-Mini-PC-4-667x420.webp 667w" sizes="(max-width: 997px) 100vw, 997px" /></figure></div>

<p>Neptune HN2673 Mini PC is now up for pre-order in US and Europe. The model with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, is priced at $649 for US consumers and €759 for Europe consumers. MINISFORUM has confirmed that pre-order shipments of the Neptune HN2673 will start in late July this year in the US and late June in Europe.</p>

<p>In addition to the Neptune HN2673, MINISFORUM has also recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/09/minisforum-mercury-em680-mini-pc-amd-ryzen-7-6800u-launched/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">unveiled its smallest mini-PC the Mercury EM680 mini-PC</a>, powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor.</p>

<p>The chipmaking giant has announced two chips &#8212; Intel Core i7-1195G7 which is the top-of-the-line in the U-series and the Intel <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/intel-core-i5">Core i5</a>-1155G7, which is the most powerful for the Core i5 range of chips.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-348915 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo.jpg?x10805" alt="Intel" width="1268" height="664" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo.jpg 1268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Intel-Logo-802x420.jpg 802w" sizes="(max-width: 1268px) 100vw, 1268px" /></p>
<p>Both of these new chips operate in the range of 12W to 28W and come with four core and eight-thread configurations. They also feature Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics &#8212; the Core i7-1195G7 comes with 96 EUs, while the Core i5-1155G7 has 80 EUs.</p>
<p>The interesting thing is that while Core i7-1195G7 features the base clock speed of 2.9GHz, but boosts up to a 5.0GHz maximum single-core speed using Intel’s Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology. On the other hand, the Core i5-1155G7 has a base clock speed of 2.5GHz and a boosted speed of 4.5GHz.</p>
<p>When compared to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amd">AMD</a> Ryzen 7 5800U CPU, the Intel Core i7-119G7 CPU can provide 46-178 percent faster performance across games. It is 93 percent faster for video editing, and Intel said that it offers a significant performance upgrade over its competition while running different <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apps">apps</a> and processes.</p>
<p>Along with these new chips, Intel has also announced Intel 5G Solution 5000 is an M.2 module that has been certified for coverage across the world, including from carriers AT&amp;T and Spring. It is said to deliver download speeds of up to 4.7GB per second and upload speed of up to 1.2GB per second, which is about a five-fold increase in speed over Intel’s Gigabit LTE technology. The modem, which is developed in collaboration with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mediatek">MediaTek</a> and Fibocom, will be available in more than 30 laptop designs by 2022.</p>

<p>Now, the company is all set to launch a new laptop in its home market, China. The teasers shared by the company announcing the same confirms that a new RedmiBook 16 model powered by the latest Intel processor will be launched on 8th July.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-330568 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/RedmiBook-16-Intel-Teaser-1.jpg?x10805" alt="RedmiBook 16 Intel Chipset" width="690" height="958" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/RedmiBook-16-Intel-Teaser-1.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/RedmiBook-16-Intel-Teaser-1-216x300.jpg 216w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/RedmiBook-16-Intel-Teaser-1-303x420.jpg 303w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>

<p>The upcoming RedmiBook 16 is confirmed to be powered by the latest 10th generation <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/intel">Intel</a> Core i7 processor, based on a 10nm manufacturing process. Apart from this, nothing much has been revealed by the company at this point in time.</p>
<p>However, similar to the 16-model powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amd">AMD</a> Ryzen 4000-series processor, we expect the upcoming RedmiBook 16 Intel-powered models to pack almost the same set of specifications and features.</p>

<p>We expect the laptop to come packed with 8/16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD. There could also be an optional dedicated GPU for intensive graphics-related stuff. It could also have a good screen-to-body ratio and better than average battery life.</p>
<p>For those who are unaware, the recently launched Ryzen 4000-series powered RediBook starts at 3,799 yuan (~$539) for the 13-inch model and goes up to 4,499 yuan (~$638) for the top-end variant with the 16-inch model. For the upcoming Intel-powered 16-inch model, we expect the pricing to start above 3,999 yuan (~$567).</p>

The first time news of a notebook from the Chinese giant surfaced was <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/12/09/xiaomi-notebook-specs-leaked-intel-core-i7-8gb-ram/">7 months ago</a>. While some of the specs in that post have changed, others have remained true.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90094" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook.jpg?x10805" alt="Mi Notebook" width="600" height="330" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-300x165.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90092" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Mi Notebook 2" width="450" height="264" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-2.jpg 450w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-2-300x176.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px" /></p>
<p>The Mi Notebook will be available in 2 sizes, viz.: 11 inches and 12.5 inches (13 inches) with the latter confirmed to be a Full HD display although without touchscreen support.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90095" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-screen.jpg?x10805" alt="Mi Notebook screen" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-screen.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-screen-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-screen-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>It will also feature an Intel Skylake U-Series Core i7 processor (Core i7-6500U) clocked at 2.50 GHz (3.0GHz Max). The processor has an integrated GPU called HD Graphics 520 which offers performance in range of a dedicated GeForce 820M. Tests say the GPU will be able to handle 2015 games smoothly although in low settings.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90093" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-Specs.jpg?x10805" alt="Mi Notebook Specs" width="600" height="260" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-Specs.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Mi-Notebook-Specs-300x130.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The Mi notebook will feature 8GB of RAM and ship with Windows 10. The charger is similar to that of Huawei&#8217;s Matebook which uses a USB Type-C with maximum charge power at 65W (20V/3.25A).</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90096" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/mi-notebook-charger.jpg?x10805" alt="mi notebook charger" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/mi-notebook-charger.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/mi-notebook-charger-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Xiaomi has applied for two patents with respect to the notebook. One is for an intelligent charging adapter and the other is for a thermal processing method and apparatus.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90098" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Patent 1" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-1.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-1-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-90099" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Patent 2" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-2.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Xiaomi-Patent-2-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></p>
<p>There is still no information about the prices but we trust it will sure be cheaper than similar products in the market right now.</p>
