iQOO has officially launched the Z10x in China, a lower mid-range smartphone that offers strong performance, an eye-protective display, and long battery life. iQOO also introduced its new Turbo series alongside the Z10x, expanding its lineup with more performance-focused smartphones.

iQOO Z10x Specifications

The iQOO Z10x features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming, along with a peak full-screen brightness of 1050 nits. The display comes with TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification and supports hardware-level DC dimming to deliver a truly flicker-free viewing experience, emphasizing genuine eye protection.

The phone comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with UFS 3.1 storage for faster data access. It achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 750,000 points, promising solid performance across daily tasks and gaming. To maintain thermal stability, the device sports an Ice-sealed 3D cooling system. The Z10x runs on OriginOS, offering a smooth, clean interface optimized for efficiency and multitasking.

On the back, the iQOO Z10x sports a 50MP main camera capable of capturing detailed stills and dynamic Live Photos. The camera module follows a matrix-style dual-camera layout and is accented by a halo breathing light that provides visual notifications for calls, messages, and alerts.

The device comes with a 6500mAh battery, supporting 44W fast charging. It can charge from 1% to 50% in about 40 minutes. It also supports direct bypass charging and reverse charging, along with a five-year battery health guarantee aimed at ensuring long-term reliability.

The iQOO Z10x measures 8.09mm thick and weighs 204g. It features a Rock Solid shock-absorbing structure and has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification. It equips an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Additional features include dual stereo speakers with 400% boosted volume, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared remote control function, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking.

The iQOO Z10x is available in four variants:

While the Z10x could be similar to the Z10x available in India, the Turbo models will be brand-new phones designed to rival the Redmi Turbo 4 series.

iQOO Z10 Turbo series: What to expect?

The Z10 Turbo Pro will be among the first devices powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, built on TSMC’s 4nm process with an all-big-core architecture. This chip reportedly outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimensity 9300+. The standard Z10 Turbo will be equipped with the Dimensity 8400. The iQOO Z10 Turbo series’ design appears to be a refined version of what was seen on the Z9 Turbo lineup. The series will be positioned in the 2,000 Yuan(~$275) to 2,500 Yuan (~$340) price range in China.

According to reports, the Z10 Turbo will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED LTPS flat display and an optical fingerprint reader. The Z10 Turbo is expected to feature the Dimensity 8400 chip, a 7,600mAh battery with 90W charging, and a 50-megapixel (OIS) + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. On the other hand, the Pro edition will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50-megapixel (OIS) + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.

As per reports, the iQOO Z10 equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 may debut in the second half of this year in China.

iQOO Z10

The iQOO Z10 was just announced with a tall 6.77-inch quad curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1500 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. This chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. This model runs on the Android 15 OS based Funtouch OS 15 custom skin out of the box.

A huge 7,300mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 90W wired fast charging. So the iQOO Z10 packs the largest battery cell out of any commercially available smartphone in the Indian market. For photography, the rear has a 50MP main camera with OIS support and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front packs a 32MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.

iQOO Z10x

While India is expected to get just this model for now, the full lineup—including the Z10x, Z10, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro—could roll out in China soon. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect from each model.

iQOO Z10x

The Z10x will be the most affordable entry in the lineup and will likely feature an LCD panel and a new MediaTek chipset.

It first appeared in certifications last October and later surfaced in BIS listings in January. But for now, details on its specs remain scarce.

Its predecessor featured a 6.72-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also packed a 50MP dual-camera system and a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The Z10x will likely offer similar specs but could see some minor upgrades.

That said, this model might not launch alongside the rest of the lineup and could instead arrive later in Q3 2024.

iQOO Z10

The Z10 has already been confirmed for India, and teasers from iQOO have already confirmed some key specs. Including a massive 7,300mAh battery. That’s the largest battery on any phone in India right now.

And for comparison, its predecessor, the Z9, had a 5,000mAh battery. Despite the bump in battery size, the phone measures just 7.89mm thick.

Moreover, leaks suggest the Z10 will feature a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED display (FHD+, 120Hz). Under the hood, it could pack either the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. The front will have a 32MP camera for selfies, while details on the rear camera setup is still under wraps. 

iQOO Z10 Turbo

The Z10 Turbo is expected to launch in China in April with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400. The display is rumored to be a 6.78-inch LTPS panel with a 1.5K resolution.

Camera-wise, leaks suggest a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor at the back, with a 16MP front-facing camera. Powering the setup will be a 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.

Interestingly, a recent leak suggests iQOO might also launch the Z10 Turbo in India in April. The device could debut in configurations including 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It may come in Gold and Silver color options.

iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro

Sitting at the top of the lineup, the Z10 Turbo Pro will likely share some DNA with the Turbo but push performance further. It’s rumored to feature the same 6.78-inch 1.5K display but swap in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4—a step up from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 used in the Z9 Turbo.

The iQOO Z10 is likely to be powered by the forthcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and offer 90W wired charging. On the other hand, the Z10x may come with an LCD screen, a Dimensity 7300 chip, and 44W charging. However, a previous leak claimed that it would feature a new MediaTek chip. iQOO announced the iQOO Z9 series of smartphones in April 2024 in China. The lineup included four models, such as the iQOO Z9x, iQOO Z9, and iQOO Z9 Turbo. These devices came equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. In the second half of 2024, the brand announced the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus with the more powerful Dimensity 9300 Plus chip onboard. The series also includes the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition, which went official last week in China. A new leak reveals that the upcoming iQOO Z10 series will comprise four models.

iQOO Z10 series: What to expect?

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z10 lineup will include four models: iQOO Z10, Z10 Pro, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro. The leak suggests that the series’s core focus is offering users an exceptionally large battery. The entire Z9 series features battery capacities ranging from 6,000mAh to 6,400mAh. Therefore, it is likely that the Z10 series will come with even larger battery capacities, probably around 7,000mAh capacity, surpassing those of its predecessor.

The tipster revealed that the iQOO Z10 Turbo will feature a dedicated graphics chip and will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon SM8735 chipset, which is expected to be marketed as the Snapdragon 8s Elite. This new chipset is anticipated to achieve an impressive score of around 2 million on AnTuTu benchmarks. There is no information about the Z10 Turbo Pro, which is probably planned to launch in the second half of this year.

Previous reports have revealed that the Z10 Turbo will have a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. The device will pack a large silicon-carbon battery of around 7,000mAh capacity. It is expected to support 80W or 90W fast charging.
