The other phones that are included in the list include Honor 9X, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi 10X 4G, Honor Play 4T Pro, and Vivo Y5s.

The iQOO Z1x 5G has gone official in China. With a starting price of 1,598 Yuan (~$228), it is one of the cheapest 5G-ready smartphones available in the country. The phone manages to impress iQOO fans with features like a Snapdragon 765G processor, 120Hz high refresh supporting display, a massive battery with 33W fast charging technology, and 48-megapixel triple rear shooters.

iQOO Z1x 5G specifications

The glass-bodied iQOO Z1x 5G has 164.20 x 76.5 x 9.06mm and it weighs 199.5 grams. The phone possesses a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The HDR10 compliant screen supports P3 color gamut and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. The phone can intelligently adapt the refresh rate depending on what is running on the screen to reduce battery consumption. The iQOO Z1x 5G with V2012A model number recorded a score of 318,256 on Master Lu benchmarks. This score classifies it as a high-end device. The score is an average of CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage tests in which the iQOO Z1x 5G scored 134,086, 102,658, 41,163, and 40,619, respectively.

The variant of the iQOO Z1x 5G that was benchmarked on Master Lu has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The screen of the device produces 1080 x 2408 pixels Full HD+ resolution. As the company has officially confirmed, the Snapdragon 765G SoC will be present under the hood of the device.

Furthermore, the user even held a poll discussing the pros and cons of such displays. Higher refresh rate panels generally consume more energy than the standard displays but offer a better interaction and overall user experience.

From what we know so far, the iQOO Z1x will sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is capable of 5G networking. The device recently passed China’s 3C certification that revealed that the smartphone will support fast charging up to 33W. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the handset are currently unknown and we will have to wait for an official company announcement or news leaks to know more. So stay tuned.

Recently, a Chinese tipster had revealed that iQOO is planning to launch its first mid-range phone named iQOO Z1x. The Chinese brand is yet to confirm on the existence of the iQOO Z1x. It appears that the mysterious Vivo V2012A phone that just got approved by the 3C authority of China could be the upcoming iQOO Z1x phone.

The 3C listing states that the Vivo V2012A is a 5G-enabled handset. The other thing that it reveals is that it could be shipping with a 33W fast charging. No other details on the phone are mentioned in its 3C listing.

The Vivo V2012A was spotted last month at the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing revealed that the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor and 8 GB of RAM. The phone was found to be loaded with Android 10 OS.

According to a well-known tipster from China who shared the above screenshot, the V2012A is the iQOO smartphone that he recently mentioned about. Earlier this month, he claimed that the iQOO’s next smartphone that is powered by Snapdragon 765Ght is called iQOO Z1x. He said that iQOO’s first mid-range phone will break cover this month with an affordable price tag.

The tipster also revealed that the Vivo V2019A phone that has appeared on 3C is a 5G-ready entry-level phone from the company. Its 3C appearance reveals that it may ship with an 18W fast charger. The V2011A seen in the list is the already announced Vivo X50 Pro+ and the W2052 / W2056 is the upcoming Vivo Watch smartwatch.

iQOO introduced its first Z-series phone i.e. the iQOO Z1 in the previous month. The Z1 came with some impressive specs such as 144Hz refresh rate supporting display, MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset, triple rear cameras, and a big battery. The handset arrived with an enticing starting price tag of 2,198 Yuan (~$309). A fresh leak reveals that iQOO may launch a new phone named iQOO Z1x this month.  It could be arriving as one of the cheapest 5G-ready smartphones.

According to a trustworthy Chinese tipster, the iQOO Z1x will be fueled by Snapdragon 765G SoC. The handset will be the company’s first mid-range smartphone. The leakster claims that it is a very affordable price tag. The Weibo post by the tipster is no longer accessible as it has been deleted.

The iQOO Z1x is expected to be priced lower than the iQOO Z1. The Dimensity 820 powered Redmi 10X 5G that went on sale earlier this week is the cheapest 5G phone with a pricing of 1,599 Yuan (~$225). At present, the Redmi K30i 5G’s 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition that has a price tag of 1,899 Yuan is the most affordable SD765G phone. It remains to be seen whether the iQOO Z1x will be priced lower than the Redmi K30i 5G.

The iQOO Z1 has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen with a punch-hole for its 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The display offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, Full HD+ resolution, and up to 144Hz refresh rate. The rear side of the smartphone features a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system.

The iQOO Z1 boots to iQOO UI based Android 10 OS. The phone draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that comes with 33W fast charging support. The handset is equipped with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, and side-facing fingerprint reader.
