Vivo launched the X50 series on June 1 in China. Ahead of the event, Jerome Chen, the CEO of Vivo mobiles India revealed the handsets to be made available in the country soon. Now, according to a tip, Vivo X50 Pro could launch in India by mid-July.

Vivo is known to bring most of its devices to India, the country in which it ranks second in the market share after Xiaomi. Hence, it is sure for the brand to launch the X50 series in the country.

But now, thanks to a retail source of 91Mobiles, the launch of X50 Pro in India has been somewhat confirmed to take place sometime in mid-July. However, the exact date is still a mystery.

The Vivo X50 Pro is a mid-range smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The handset sports a 6.56-inch FHD+ (2376 x 1080 pixels) curved AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and a punch hole for 32MP selfie shooter.

The device packs a quad-camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary sensor with gimbal OIS, an 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS, a 13MP dedicated portrait snapper with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide unit.

Other features of the phone include 5G connectivity, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10, 4,315 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.

Vivo X50 Pro retails for 4,298 Yuan ($609) and 4,698 Yuan ($665) for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage configurations respectively in China. The Indian pricing might start around ₹50,000 ($661).
