Kospet has introduced the TANK T4, a tough and feature-packed smartwatch built for fitness and outdoor use. It is now available on Amazon for $185, after a $25 discount.

The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466×466 resolution, 1,000 nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness for better visibility in different lighting conditions.

The TANK T4 includes dual-band GNSS with support for six satellite systems for precise tracking. It uses the OPDR algorithm to maintain location accuracy even in weak GPS areas. The watch supports offline maps and allows route import for hiking or running. A built-in walkie-talkie works within a 40-meter range, useful for quick communication during outdoor activities.

Tough Build and Water Resistance

The T4 is built with an Inox 360 stainless steel body and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has passed 20 MIL-STD-810H military-grade tests certified by SGS for durability against dust, shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures from -50°C to 70°C. It is rated 10 ATM and IP69K, withstanding water pressure up to 45 meters, making it suitable for swimming and diving.

Health and Fitness Features

The smartwatch offers 23 ApexMotion sports modes and 160 freestyle training modes. It tracks running, cycling, mountaineering, and other workouts with detailed data like pace, elevation gain, stride, and VO₂ max. A 4PD optical sensor monitors heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep, and menstrual cycles. The watch supports one-tap health checks and gives alerts for abnormal readings.

Storage, Battery, and OS

The T4 has 32GB storage, enough for about 5,000 songs and 100 offline maps. It runs on Apexmove OS, offering customization, training insights, and compatibility with Android 7.0+ and iOS 14.0+ devices through the Apexmove App. The 500mAh cobalt battery lasts 14–15 days in normal use, 9–10 days in heavy use, and up to 22 hours in GPS mode. Charging takes around 2 hours using the magnetic dock.

The Kospet Tank T3 Ultra also comes with an IP69K rating and is water resistant to up to 5 ATM test pressure.

The Kospet Tank T3 Ultra can be used for swimming and the swimmer is benefited further with the deployment of the stroke count recognition feature. The smartwatch has a 470mAh battery with a runtime of up to 15 days on typical usage. The battery life reduces to 5 days when the AMOLED is always active. The Tank T3 supports Bluetooth calling and comes with heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure tracking. However, the accuracy of measurements (especially blood pressure) has not been established for the device.

Pricing

The Kospet Tank T3 Ultra is currently offered directly from Kospet at about $120. The device will subsequently make its way to retail platforms for greater accessibility. The cheaper price rating of the smartwatch, coupled with its raft of navigation and health monitoring features could spur demand for the product.

Nowadays, the smartwatch market is very competitive. Not only are there smartwatches and smart bands made by big brands like Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi, but there are also countless brands trying to impact them in different ways. And the smartwatch I want to introduce today, the KOSPET TANK T2, is a good watch. Although it has no significant advantages, but also the same no significant disadvantages, the price is just right.

Unboxing

If you buy TANK T2, you will receive a box like this. The way it opens is very elegant, and flipping the lid not only reveals the main accessories of the smartwatch, but also all the selling points are written inside the lid. In addition to the strap and charger, there is a manual and Tempered Glass underneath. while the screen glass is strong enough to keep it from breaking in harsh environments, this film will also prevent sand from scratching on the screen.

Design

The TANK T2 is a very outdoor style at first glance. The all-metal body with 9H Dual Glass Cover gives it excellent protection. 5ATM, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H, it basically has all the protection certifications you can imagine. This one is black frosted, two orange buttons with the default dial also looks very technological style.

The back cover is ABS without too many bumps, making it comfortable to wear. The included strap is made of silicone, which is the best material for most sports or outdoor watches. It’s not easy to get dirty or broken, it doesn’t absorb water, so it doesn’t stink if you don’t wash it for long time. For the TANK T2, the overall design is still very good looking, meets my expectations for a $100 outdoor smartwatch.

How to use & Function

The system of TANK T2 is still very simple. You don’t need a manual, basically you can figure out all the functions when you hands on. The watch has only two buttons and their functions are engraved directly on the frame. The top button is actually equivalent to the power button on the phone, responsible for back, lock screen and power on. Of course, you can also use it as a start timer or pause button. When there is no watch strap, it does look like a professional Stopwatch in hand.

And the button below is specially designed for sports. Press to select the mode you want among 70 sports modes. The superb number of modes covers most sports both indoors and outdoors, even if I want to swipe to the bottom it takes a long time.

Sometimes you forget to turn on the sports mode, right? TANK T2 enables smart recognition and reminder of 6 sports – stationary state, walking, running, cycling, elliptical and rower. The system can automatically sense current sports status without entering Sports Modes manually.

The T2 operates in almost the same way as other smartwatches. Swipe down the control center, swipe up the notification center. Left swipe is various monitoring indicators, and right swipe is Setting. setting is also mostly some monitoring data, such as heart rate and sleeping data. The T2 also has blood oxygen detection, and even blood pressure detection.

I must remind you that it doesn’t have the ability to download apps like Apple watch or OPPO Watch. The good thing is that TANK T2 is fully functional, so it’s not a big deal.

A good smartwatch must have a stable connection with your phone. So let’s see how the TANK T2 does in terms of connectivity. First of all, the KOSPET FIT, which is the same as the watch system, is a simple style, basically some sports data and basic functions. And the APP muti-language options can benefit users from different regions of the world.

We tested the stability of the watch’s connection to the phone, and in the week I wore it, incoming calls and messages were received properly. You can also make calls with the watch, as it has a speaker and microphone. But you can’t play music independently, you can only control the volume level of the phone and switch songs.

APP message push is also no problem, if there is no APP in the list that you want to receive information, you can also add it yourself. Although I rarely use it, the T2 adds a shutter function that can be used as a remote shutter button for the phone’s camera.

Battery

TANK T2 battery life is something you do not need to worry about, the official claim that even heavy use can last more than a week. I have been using it for a week and the battery life is indeed very long. Even if I wear the watch while sleeping, it would only use 3% more power. If I turn off some detection functions, I believe it will last 2 weeks. The only way to charge it is through the included special charger, but wireless charging absence is one of its few regrets.

When we go to evaluate KOSPET TANK T2 in general, we find that it is very all-round and has almost no drawbacks. Except for the wireless charging just mentioned, anyone who has used a wireless charging watch knows that it doesn’t really work as well as you expect. So for a $100 smartwatch, I think it’s worth it. Fully functional, sturdy, good-looking, stable connection, excellent battery life, the basic conditions of a good smartwatch are met. That’s enough for most people.

Kospet has finally launched the Prime 2 Smartwatch after a series of leaks. The Smartwatch has the most highlighting feature that is the rotating camera for face unlocking capabilities.

The Kospet Prime 2 is a successor to the Kospet Prime that launched back in September 2019. The new Smartwatch brings revolutionary changes like a bigger display, an Octa-core processor, a rotating camera, and more RAM than the predecessor. However, the highlight of the Smartwatch is the rotating camera in it.

If we recall, the Kospet Prime also had two cameras on it to take photos, and authentication through face unlocking. However, Kospet Prime 2 has a single 13MP Sony camera sensor and it is placed at the top center unlike sideways. When triggered, the camera rotates 90-degree for selfies, video calls, and face unlocking.

Kospet Prime 2 Specifications

Regarding the specifications, the Kospet Prime 2 has a similar round dial like the predecessor. The display also has ceramic bezel around it. There are two crowns and a SIM card tray to the right.

The display on Kospet Prime 2 is slightly bigger with 2.1-inches compared to 1.6-inch on the Kospet Prime. It has a resolution of 480×480 pixels. Powering the smartwatch is Mediatek’s Helio P22 Octa-core SoC. This is paired with a whopping 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Other features like GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 are present for connectivity. However, it lacks NFC. The company has also mentioned that the Smartwatch is only Splash-proof and not water-proof. This is understandable considering it has a mechanically rotating part.

Further, this Smartwatch is one of the first 64-bit Android 10 wearables to hit the market. Kospet. To top it all, this Kospet Prime 2 has a large 1600mAh battery. This is a bump up from the 1260mAh found of the predecessor.

Pricing and Availability

While the QC-wireless charging module is present on the Smartwatch, the company seems to have suspended it for now. It says that a PCB module is degrading the Wi-Fi signal even during OFF-state. That said, we can expect the company to improve it on future firmware update and re-enable it.

As for the price and availability, there is no official info yet. However, Kospet is running a watch-face design competition till September 27th post which the Smartwatch may be ready for shipping.
