Lenovo has just introduced its new ThinkVision monitor in India, and one of its best aspects is its price tag. The new monitor is the ThinkVision T24i-30 model, bringing notable specs for a discounted price tag right from the start. So here’s what we know.

This Budget Lenovo ThinkVision Monitor Lands in India

The Chinese tech giant has just released the ThinkVision T24i-30 monitor with a 23.8-inch IPS LCD panel. This is an anti glare display that supports FHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 99 percent sRGB color gamut, and 4ms response time. The budget monitor comes with Eyesafe Display 2.0 tech and an ergonomic user experience with swivel support. Connectivity options include VGA, DP 1.2, HDMI 1.4, and four USB 3.0 ports.

Lenovo ThinkVision T24i Monitor

Since it offers just a standard 60Hz refresh rate, it is more for everyday use, like browsing or work, so it’s not great for gaming. The color accuracy could also make it a solid deal for creative professionals on a tight budget. Lenovo just announced the ThinkVision T24i-30 monitor for Rs 28,141. However, the company is selling this monitor for a discounted price tag of Rs 12,999 (roughly 146 US Dollars) during the ongoing Lenovo Tech Utsav sale. This is a notable 53 percent discount, but this is likely the actual price tag, with the original only being an MRP listing.

Other additional offers include 551 My Lenovo Rewards, up to INR 20,000 bonus, along with the exchange bonus of your older PC when choosing the trade-in option. The brand is also offering student discounts and credit card cashback offers with this ThinkVision monitor. Lenovo ThinkVision P27pz-30 monitor with 4K Mini LED panel & USB4 Dock launched

After launching the ThinkVision P32pz-30 monitor, Lenovo has also launched the ThinkVision P27pz-30, a 27-inch mini LED monitor, primarily p27pz-30-monitor-with-4k-mini-led-panel-amp-usb4-dock-launchedtargeting professionals in video creation and graphic design. This monitor is now available in markets like Germany and the UK, with its release in the US still pending.

The ThinkVision P27pz-30 features a 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), making it suitable for tasks that demand high image quality. Its color accuracy is a significant selling point, with 99% coverage in both DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, and an average Delta E less than 1.5. It also features a 4ms response time and a 60Hz refresh rate.

One of the key attractions of this monitor is its Mini LED backlight, consisting of 1152 zones that effectively balance light and dark shades. This feature reduces the halo effect and improves the overall HDR viewing experience, further supported by VESA-certified HDR 1000 imaging technology.

Connectivity options on the ThinkVision P27pz-30 are comprehensive. It includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a DisplayPort output, a USB 4 port, and an RJ45 connector.

In terms of pricing, the ThinkVision P27pz-30 is available for £1,120 in the UK, inclusive of VAT. In the Eurozone, the price is set at €1,699.

Lenovo unveils ThinkVision 27 3D Monitor with ability to convert 2D images to 3D in real time without glasses

Earlier this year, Lenovo showcased the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor at IFA 2023. It requires a minimum system specification to utilize stated functionalities—an Intel Core i5-7400, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, 50 GB of hard drive space, and 8 GB of RAM.

However, it is limited to Windows-based PCs, requiring Windows 10 or the latest version.

According to Lenovo, “The user’s eyes are presented with two separate pictures by the 3D monitor, allowing each eye to view the subject from a slightly different angle. This method produces natural and effective stereoscopic visualization with sharp stereo vision and depth awareness.” In this way, “more natural 3D viewing experiences” are achieved without the need for specialized equipment.

Lenovo ThinkVision 27 3D Monitor specifications

The ThinkVision 27 3D monitor has a 27-inch IPS LCD screen with a peak brightness of 310 nits, a color gamut coverage of 11% BT 709, 99% DCI-P3, 99% Adobe RGB, and 110% sRGB.

Additional specifications for the ThinkVision 27 3D display include 2,160 x 3,840 pixels for 2D resolution and 1,920 x 2,160 pixels for 3D resolution. With the use of an eye-tracking switchable lenticular lens, this glassless 3D display generates a 3D image.

Lenovo states that its ∆E values are less than one right out of the box, and it comes color-calibrated straight from the factory.

In addition, the monitor includes a stylish USB hub with the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor. There are four USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port that can charge devices at up to 100 Watts, one upstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, and one downstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port. Moreover, there are two HDMI and one DP port in addition to that.

It is a specialty product designed for a certain user base that requires these qualities. As so, it will retail for a price tag of $2,999 and be available for purchase in February 2024.

Lenovo launches M14d portable 14-inch 2K monitor that weighs just 600 grams

Lenovo has recently launched the ThinkVision M14d Mobile monitor for professionals who like to be on the move. The 2K monitor is extremely slim and light making it the perfect solution for your portable small screen needs.

The ThinkVision M14d is the successor of the ThinkVision M14t (touch) and the ThinkVision M14. But this time around, it comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio as most business and professional-oriented laptops have been making a move towards the 16:10 aspect ratio.

Talking about the specs of the monitor, it comes with a 14-inch 2K (2240x1400p) anti-glare IPS WLED-backlit panel. The display has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 6ms response time. It also covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, has a peak brightness of 300nits, and offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The monitor gets “natural low blue light” as a special feature making it easier on the eyes through long hours of screentime.

It weighs 0.6 kg (1.3 lbs), making it relatively easy to lung around next to a laptop. Users can also mount it via the two included 100 mm screw-holes.

Due to its compact size, the Lenovo ThinkVision M14d external monitor doesn’t have any ports other than the two USB Type-C ports that can double up as DP1.4 ports. However, the USB-C port can be used to deliver up to 65 W of power to a connected device. The monitor requires an external power source to power it as it does not have a built battery.

Lenovo has announced that the ThinkVision M14d will cost $299 and will be available for purchase in July 2022.

Lenovo launches a large 29-inch 90Hz Ultra Wide monitor in China for $235

Earlier today, Lenovo launched its ultrawide Thinkvision E29w-20 LED monitor to the Chinese market. The 29-inch ThinkVision is available in the region at an introductory price of 1499 yuan ($235).

The Thinkvision E29w-20 features super-thin bezzles on three sides and is equipped with an ergonomic stand, offering tilt, swivel, and lift functions, making it easy to adjust and comfortable to use. The monitor has dual 3W speakers for loud and crisp audio output.

The Lenovo E29w-20 features a 29-inch IPS panel with 2560 x 1080 pixel resolution covering 99% of the sRGB color gamut. In addition to that, the E29w-20 has a 90Hz refresh rate, 4/6 ms response time, and AMD FreeSync. The IPS panel on this monitor is capable of 300nits peak brightness, enables a viewing angle of up to 178°, and offers an impressive contrast ratio of 1000:1. But what makes this monitor special in the 29-inch ultrawide segment is that it features Lenovo’s Natural Low Blue Light technology to reduce eye strain without distorting the color output.

As we know, typical blue light filters like the night mode setting cause yellowing of the display output and chromatic aberration.
