Lenovo has officially released the Y7000P with RTX 4070, marking another addition to its gaming notebook lineup. Priced at an initial 8,999 yuan (~$1270), this variant boasts impressive specifications, including an Intel Core i7-14700HX processor paired with RTX 4070 dedicated graphics. Other versions of the Legion Y7000P lineup have already been available for purchase, catering to different performance needs and price points.

The Y7000P RTX 4070 edition is equipped with the powerful Intel Core i7-14700HX processor, manufactured using Intel‘s 7nm process. Featuring a configuration with 20 cores and 28 threads, this processor boasts a single-core turbo frequency of 5.5GHz, a substantial L3 cache of 33MB, and a remarkable performance release of 110W in super mode.

Lenovo’s gaming notebook doesn’t fall short on the graphics front, incorporating a 140W RTX 4070 graphics card. Supporting Dynamic Boost 2.0, this GPU is equipped with 4608 CUDA stream processors, 8GB of 128-bit GDDR6 video memory, and the added benefit of factory overclocking, effective in both beast mode and super mode.

Display enthusiasts will appreciate the Y7000P’s 16-inch 2560×1600 resolution screen with a high 165Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. The response speed of 3ms, a typical brightness of 350 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, and an impressive 92.8% screen-to-body ratio contribute to an immersive gaming experience.

In terms of thermal management, the Y7000P employs “Qiankun” heat dissipation technology, enhancing overall performance. Compared to its predecessor, the notebook experiences a 30W performance increase, reaching 190W, while noise is reduced by 4dB, and surface temperatures drop by 3.5℃.

The Y7000P’s design emphasizes portability, with an overall thickness of 19.7mm. The notebook features 16GB DDR5 5600 memory (with one slot reserved) and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with dual M.2 slots, providing ample storage and speedy data access. The inclusion of 140W Type-C fast charging, coupled with a 230W power adapter, ensures efficient charging for uninterrupted gaming sessions.
