As the November 11 shopping festival approaches, Xiaomi continues to ramp up its new product offering. The company has launched a reading and writing version of the MIJIA Desk Lamp Pro. The new lamp is priced at 299 yuan ($41).

The MIJIA Desk Lamp Pro read-write version has a lamp head with a length of 380mm and a maximum illumination range of 1.5 square meters. The light covers the entire desk, and the edges of the desk can be seen clearly.

The central illuminance of the table lamp reaches 1690 Lux, nearly two times higher than that of the previous generation. The light uniformity within the range of 300mm reaches 2.33.

The table lamp complies with China’s AA-level illumination standard to ensure that the light irradiated on the desk is uniform, soft and bright. This reduces the irritation of the eyes to the contrast of light and dark.

The MIJIA Desk Lamp Pro read-write version can be controlled from the MIJIA app allowing users to adjust the light’s color temperature between 2700K and 5500K. The brightness can also be adjusted between 1% and 100%. There is also a physical knob at the base of the lamp that can be used to adjust the light’s brightness. The knob can also be used to change the color temperature if it is pressed and rotated at the same time.
