Xiaomi has unveiled the MIJIA multi-function flashlight, which has a range of 240 meters. The MIJIA multi-function flashlight has a brightness of 1000 lumens with three levels of brightness – low, medium, and high. The lamp head of the new MIJIA flashlight also supports telescopic focusing.
The MIJIA multi-function flashlight has a built-in seatbelt cutter and pop-up window breaker. It can also turn on the emergency light with the press of a button and the side lights can be used in a variety of situations. The device is handy in emergencies, as the flashlight can be used to cut through a seatbelt or break a window. The flashlight has a rotating slide rail and wide-angle rotation adjustment. It supports magnetic fixation and is well-suited to absorb metal surfaces and brackets.
The Xiaomi MIJIA multi-function flashlight comes with a 3100mAh lithium battery that can last for 90 hours. It has a two-color power indicator that gives an idea of the remaining power. The flashlight can be recharged via its USB-C port. Xiaomi is silent on how long it takes to fully recharge the battery.
The Xiaomi MIJIA multi-function flashlight is available for 169 yuan (~$23) via crowdfunding. The original retail price of the flashlight is 199 yuan (~$28) and it will be shipping from October 27. The flashlight was unveiled on October 19 and has already raised over 150,000 yuan (~$20,750). There are no indications yet whether the product will find its way to other markets.
