Realme, the Chinese smartphone maker, has seen great success in the Indian market since its entry into the region. Now, the company’s latest offering the Narzo 20 has also seen immense popularity, with over 130,000 units of the device being sold in the first sale.

According to Madhav Sheth, the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Realme, the Narzo 20’s first sale reached a significant amount and the company aims at reaching 5,000,000 Narzo users with the launch of the series. As per a BusinessInsider report, the senior official stated that “With this series, we are taking forward our legacy of strong performance and powerful processors which is differentiated from the comprehensive experience of Realme products.”

For those unaware, the Narzo 20 arrives with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor along with a 6,000mAh battery a 48 megapixel triple camera setup. Overall it is a device that offers performance for smooth mobile gaming and adds a massive battery with fast charge capabilities at a competitive price. Its 4GB RAM + 64GB variant arrived at just 10,499 INR (roughly 142 US Dollars) while the 128GB storage variant is priced at just 11,499 INR (roughly 155 US Dollars).

Madhav Sheth further added that “the response is a testimony to the fact that our product strategy of providing power centric series for the Young Players have been well accepted.” The company is planning on launching two additional handsets in the Nazro series. This includes the higher end Narzo 20 Pro that will have a 65W fast charging technology and the entry level Narzo 20A for the budget users. The former sports a more powerful Helio G95 chip and a 90Hz refresh rate, while the latter sports a Snapdragon 665 processor and a large 5,000mAh battery.

The device delivers a screen space of 90.5 percent.  The Helio G95 which fuels the recently announced Realme 7 is present under the hood of the Narzo 20 Pro. The smartphone comes with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The Narzo 20 Pro has up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The Narzo 20 Pro has an f/2.1 aperture 16-megapixel selfie camera. Recently, realme sent out physical press invites to media and influencers confirming the launch date of narzo 20, narzo 20A, and narzo 20 Pro to be September 21. Now, today, the company has officially announced it to the public on its social media handles and community. Additionally, it also revealed that realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 will be also debuting at the same event.

Anyway, we don’t have to wait until the launch day to know everything about these phones and realme UI 2.0. These handsets, for instance, have leaked extensively in the past few days revealing everything about them. The only thing that is unknown is their price.

The Narzo 20 Pro is shown in blue in the image. The back has light streaks shaped like a “V”. The back looks like it is made of glass but it might actually not be.

There are four cameras on the phone arranged vertically in a housing that is positioned on the left side of the phone. Unlike the Narzo 10 series that has Realme written at the bottom of the device, the Narzo 20 Pro has “Narzo designed by Realme” written on it.

The Narzo 20 Pro will have a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by the Helio G95 processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

The Realme Narzo 20 series will be announced next week in India and ahead of the launch, the specifications of the Narzo 20A and Narzo 20 have been revealed. The source of the leak is Mukul Sharma and he disclosed the details in a YouTube video uploaded today.

The Narzo 20A will have a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600) display covered with Gorilla Glass and with a screen to body ratio of 89.8%. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 665 processor. Realme will launch the phone in two configurations 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. There is support for storage expansion via a MicroSD card slot.

There are three cameras on the back of the phone – a 12MP f/1.8 main camera with HDR and Chroma Boost, a 2MP f/2.4 B&W lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 retro lens. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor.

It will pack a 5000mAh battery just like the Realme Narzo 10A with support for 10W fast charge. The Narzo 20 will have a 6.5-inch display too with the same resolution but a slightly lower aspect ratio (88.7%). Realme has swapped the Snapdragon 665 for the Helio G85 from MediaTek.

There is only one RAM variant of the phone and that is 4GB. However, buyers will be able to choose between 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. The primary rear camera is a 48MP f/1.8 sensor with a 6P lens and it comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera with a 119° FOV and a 2MP macro camera.

There is a 6000mAh battery inside the phone with support for 18W fast charging. Just like the Realme Narzo 20A, it will also be available in Glory Silver and Victory Blue.

The Narzo 20 series may arrive pretty soon. Realme already confirmed that the phones are on the way. Now a leak has revealed the launch date and the invite for the launch has also surfaced on the web.

According to a tweet by Himanshu (@byhimanshu), who is the same source that revealed the color variants and configurations of the upcoming phones, Realme will announce the launch date for the Narzo 20 series tomorrow. However, we do not have to wait until then as he disclosed that the launch date is September 21.

We believe the latter is a teaser that hints at the series sporting big batteries. The Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A both have a 5000mAh battery capacity. Will Realme be increasing the battery capacity to match that of the newly launched Galaxy M51 which has a 7000mAh battery? Maybe, maybe not.

If you look at the image, it shows 7 battery bars. Could that be a hint at one or all members of the Narzo 20 series having a 7000mAh battery too?
