Xiaomi‘s ecological chain company Segway-Ninebot has launched the Ninebot Kids Bike. The bike is an affordable one, priced at just 399 yuan ($59) and is billed to go on sale on May 6.

The Ninebot Kids Bike is designed for kids between the ages of 2-5 years and with heights ranging from 90-115cm. The bike design follows the pattern of Ninebot’s 2018 German iF award-winning kids bike. From the seat to the tires, the kids’ bike is designed with the safety of the child at the front burner. The seat cushion is soft and round and is made from PU foam material with high elasticity and that is vacuum-moulded and integrally moulded to gently support the soft bones of the child. The tail of the pad is slightly tilted, which makes the baby’s squatting force better transform into the driving force.

The kids’ bike doesn’t have a pedal but comes with a selection of aluminium alloy Palin drums. The brake system designed for kids and has a sensitive drum brake for smooth, seamless and safe braking. The saddle can be adjusted between 34-41cm and the handle can be adjusted between 54.5-58.5 cm. The bike comes with CST pneumatic tires, innovative lightweight sidewall, with original design tread and is resistant against wear and has good grip suitable for different road surfaces.
