<p>Gaming isn’t an afterthought for the best Android tablets in 2025. Pretty much any tablet on this list can handle your favorite titles without breaking a sweat. That said, it’s still a good idea to shop based on what you actually need, not just what looks the most expensive.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025.jpg?x44794" alt="Best Android Gaming Tablets 2025" class="wp-image-690756" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Best-Android-Gaming-Tablets-2025-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>If you&#8217;re looking to game on Android and want a screen larger than your smartphone&#8217;s, the market now offers several high-end options. Most are running the latest chipsets, packing in stylus support, and offering displays that try to justify their increasingly steep prices.</p>

<p>Here’s a breakdown of the best Android tablets for gaming in mid-2025—some new, some just updated, and a few that you still can’t buy globally.</p>

<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus</strong></h3>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s10-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Tab S10 Plus</a> is probably the most balanced Android gaming tablet out there. It checks nearly every box without veering into the price territory of ultra-premium devices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It comes with a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that refreshes at 120Hz and has HDR10+ support. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, one of the few high-end MediaTek chips finding its way into flagship tablets.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus" class="wp-image-652939" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure></div>

<p>There&#8217;s no real surprise in the hardware: 12GB RAM, UFS storage, a 10,090mAh battery, and quad speakers tuned by AKG. You also get microSD expansion, a rare find for devices in 2025.&nbsp;</p>

<p>And while the 13MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the back isn’t anything extra, the 12MP selfie camera with 4K video support is good enough for the occasional game stream.</p>

<p>Samsung sells the tablet for ₹90,999, which is above the OnePlus Pad 2 and Xiaomi Pad 7, included in this list.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra</strong></h3>

<p>If price isn’t an issue and you believe bigger is better, you have another option from Samsung. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s10-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra </a>is a 14.6-inch slate featuring an AMOLED panel and the same Dimensity 9300+ chip under the hood.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="553" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-1024x553.webp?x44794" alt="Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra" class="wp-image-678540" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-1024x553.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-300x162.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-768x415.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-1536x829.webp 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-696x376.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-1068x577.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra-778x420.webp 778w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Tab-S10-Ultra.webp 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>It isn’t that different from S10 Plus beyond screen size and memory (up to 16GB with 1TB of storage), and yes, it retains microSD support.</p>

<p>At ₹108,999, it’s Samsung’s most expensive Android slate. You get a slightly better front camera array (dual 12MPs), a bigger 11,200mAh battery, and Wi-Fi 7 support. But unless you’re specifically into cloud gaming or want to multitask with DeX mode, this is mostly for people who prefer oversized screens for everything.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Pad 2</strong></h3>

<p>If the above models are still too high-end for you, the Android ecosystem offers plenty of options for 1/3rd of the price. You sure will miss out on the extra bells and whistles at this price, but not the essentials. One among those options is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2</a>, which starts at Rs 35,999 in India.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-1024x538.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus-Pad-2" class="wp-image-678541" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-800x420.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>It comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 12.1-inch 144Hz LCD, and six speakers. The panel isn’t OLED, but it does support Dolby Vision and HDR10+.</p>

<p>There’s no cellular option or microSD slot, and stylus support is present but limited in utility for gamers. Still, the 9510mAh battery with 67W fast charging and OxygenOS 15 based on Android 14 gives it a reasonably polished experience.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi Pad 7</strong></h3>

<p>An even cheaper option is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-pad-7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi Pad 7</a> at a starting price of Rs 27,999. It uses a mid-range Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, which is still fast enough for most mobile games.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="596" height="656" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/image-3.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Pad 7" class="wp-image-657966" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/image-3.png 596w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/image-3-273x300.png 273w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/image-3-382x420.png 382w" sizes="(max-width: 596px) 100vw, 596px" /></figure></div>

<p>Built around an 11.2-inch LCD screen, it offers a 144Hz refresh rate, supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, and its 344 ppi density should make games look sharp.</p>

<p>It comes pre-installed with HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, with long-term update support (four major Android upgrades). There’s no 3.5mm jack or expandable storage, but at this price, it&#8217;s hard to find a better value for gaming.</p>

<h3><strong>Honorable mentions</strong></h3>

<h4><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro</strong></h4>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2 Pro</a> is a flagship model above the vanilla Pad 2. It’s got a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with dual Oryon cores, a 13.2-inch LCD at 144Hz, and a 12140mAh battery. But it’s only available in China, and even if you could import it, the ColorOS 15 software build might be more limiting than OxygenOS.</p>

<p>Starting at CNY 3,199 (~₹37,900), it technically undercuts the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus while beating it on performance, at least on paper.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2" class="wp-image-685894" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h4><strong>Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra</strong></h4>

<p>Another China-only release in this list is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-pad-7-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra</a>. It’s powered by Xiaomi’s custom Xring O1 chip with a 10-core CPU and has a 14-inch AMOLED panel with 1600 nits peak brightness and an Immortalis-G925 GPU, making it the most hardware-packed tablet Xiaomi has released.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra" class="wp-image-687813" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Xiaomi-Pad-7-Ultra-1.jpg 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It also has eight speakers, 120W charging, a 50MP camera, and 1TB storage with UFS 4.1 support. It’s priced at 5,699 yuan (~₹67,800) for the 12GB + 256GB model. But like the Pad 2 Pro, it’s only being sold in China, and there’s no global release date yet.</p>

The update maintains the company’s focus on premium hardware while offering some predictable refinements alongside a few more noticeable upgrades.</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro now features a slightly larger 13.2-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and 3.4K resolution. Like the original, it’s an IPS LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, but the brightness is now rated at 900 nits in high-brightness mode.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Powering the Pad 2 Pro is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which replaces last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. OnePlus pairs this with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Specifications" class="wp-image-686379" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Specifications-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The tablet carries over a similar camera setup with a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera, both unchanged from the previous model. The battery gets a notable upgrade to 12,140mAh from 9,510mAh, though charging remains at 67 watts via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C.</p>

<p>As for connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support along with NFC for contactless payments. For audio, it has eight speakers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All this is wrapped in a body that weighs 675 grams and measures 5.97mm thick. It’s slimmer than last year’s model but slightly heavier than last year’s 584g Pad Pro.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Price and Availability</strong></h2>

<p>In terms of pricing, the Pad 2 Pro starts at CNY 3,199 (around ₹37,886 / $444 / €399). That positions it just slightly above the previous model’s ¥2,999 starting price for the 8GB + 256GB variant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>OnePlus hasn’t confirmed international availability yet, and like the Pad Pro, the new model may remain limited to select markets.</p>

It will likely run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and pack a 12,140mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging over USB-C. OnePlus is expected to offer it in four storage and RAM combinations: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Two color options will be exclusive to OnePlus — Glacial Silver and Deep Sea Blue. The company hasn’t confirmed global availability or online platform listings yet.</p>

<p>Yesterday, tipster <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/05/10/oneplus-pad-2-pro-leaks-show-big-screen-big-battery-and-the-latest-snapdragon-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Digital Chat Station</a> leaked renders of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> Pad 2 Pro, revealing a new design and sharing specifications of the upcoming tablet. Now, a Geekbench listing with model number &#8220;OPD2415&#8221; has emerged, which is believed to be the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="653" height="846" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Screenshot-2025-05-11-135038.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Geekbench" class="wp-image-685961" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Screenshot-2025-05-11-135038.png 653w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Screenshot-2025-05-11-135038-232x300.png 232w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Screenshot-2025-05-11-135038-324x420.png 324w" sizes="(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px" /></figure></div>

<p>On Geekbench, the ‘OPD2415’ scored 3067 in single-core and 8897 in multi-core tests. It features an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 4.32 GHz, and the other six clocked at 3.53 GHz. It also features the Adreno 830 GPU, which leads us to believe that the SoC in use is the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Other than that, the listing confirms Android 15 OS and 12GB RAM.</p>

<p>According to previous reports, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2 Pro</a> will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15. The tablet is expected to sport a 13.2-inch IPS LCD display with 3.4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 900 nits peak brightness (HBM).</p>

</figure>

<p>Camera specs include a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Powering the device will be a 12,140 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. Other features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, eight speakers, 5.97mm thickness, and a 675g weight.</p>

<p>Leaked images show the tablet in two color options: Black/Grey and White/Silver. Design details include flat front and rear panels, a pill-shaped camera housing with LED flash, a landscape-oriented front camera, and magnetic POGO pins. The volume rocker is placed at the top, while the power button is on the left side. Two speaker grilles and mic holes are visible, with two more likely on the opposite side.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the design and specifications align closely with the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, strengthening speculation that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro could be a rebranded OPPO device, similar to the OnePlus Pad 2’s rebranding of the OPPO Pad 3 Pro.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> appears to be gearing up for the launch of its most specced-out tablet to date. According to known tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is preparing to unveil the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro in China soon, and the latest leak from China reveals a fairly complete picture of the hardware.</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Specifications (Rumored)</strong></h2>

<p>The new tablet will reportedly feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. That’s a noticeable jump from 12.6 inches. Based on the leak, the display also includes a small, pill-shaped cutout—though it&#8217;s not clear whether that’s for front-facing sensors or just a camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-685893" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Internally, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which would place it at the top of Qualcomm’s current performance tier. The battery is also getting a sizable bump, with a 12,140mAh cell and support for 67W wired charging.</p>

<p>In terms of configurations, the leak mentions multiple RAM and storage options: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. An <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/13/oneplus-pad-2-pro-full-specifications-tipped/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">earlier rumored 1TB version</a> seems to have been dropped from the current plans.</p>

<p>Moreover, leaked images show the tablet in two color options: Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver. The overall design isn’t sticks close to OnePlus’s recent aesthetic choices, with clean lines and minimal embellishments.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-685894" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-Design-2-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<p>While there&#8217;s still no official word from OnePlus, the specs suggest the Pad 2 Pro is aiming to compete with the likes of Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Apple’s iPad Pro lineup—at least on paper. More details, including pricing and global availability, will likely emerge as the official launch approaches.</p>

<h2>Multiple variants with varying performance?</h2>

<p>The alleged OnePlus Pad 2 Pro (model number OPD2409) was tested on Geekbench 6.3.0 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/24/oneplus-pad-2-pro-geekbench/">last month</a>, scoring 2633 in single-core and 7779 in multi-core performance. A different model, OPD2413, surfaced on the platform on April 18th with significantly improved scores — 3091 for single-core and 9638 for multi-core. Both listings reveal 16GB RAM and Android 15. Another model, OPD2408, popped up at the FCC, suggesting global and Chinese variants of the same device.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="580" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-1024x580.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-682643" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-1024x580.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-300x170.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-768x435.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-696x394.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-1068x605.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0-741x420.jpg 741w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/OPD2413-geekbench-6.3.0.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Both Geekbench listings (OPD2413 and OPD2409) confirm the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a flagship chip with an 8-core setup clocked up to 4.32GHz, paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. The Geekbench CPU scores put it in league with premium smartphones. Running Android 15 with 16GB of RAM, this tablet is built for multitasking and future-proofing.</p>

<p>The OPD2408, certified by the FCC, likely shares these specs but might be the global version, while OPD2413 could be China-specific—though that’s just educated guesswork for now. Speculation points to a close tie with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-4-pro/">Oppo Pad 4 Pro</a>, recently launched in China with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite.</p>

<p>OnePlus and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/">Oppo</a> tablets have shared specifications in the past, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Pad 2 Pro features a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits of peak brightness, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a massive 12,140mAh battery with 67W fast charging.</p>

<p>If these hold true, the Pad 2 Pro could rival premium tablets from Samsung or Apple, at least in performance. With no official launch date yet, the Geekbench and FCC sightings suggest an announcement is around the corner.</p>

<p>A new premium <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus </a>tablet is arriving in the US market soon. A fresh certification sighting has confirmed that the brand is planning on launching a OnePlus Pad 3R. However, it seems like this isn&#8217;t a brand new tablet, but it could be a rebranded model from an existing OnePlus Pad. So let&#8217;s check it out.</p>

<h2>OnePlus Pad 3R coming to the US</h2>

<p>The Chinese smartphone maker&#8217;s upcoming OnePlus Pad 3R recently surfaced on the FCC database carrying the OPD2408 model number. Looking at the listing, the new tablet would also support the OnePlus Pencil. Unfortunately, no other information was revealed on the FCC database (Via <em><a href="https://www.phonearena.com/news/oneplus-pad-flagship-tablet-coming-soo-us_id169547" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">PhoneArena</a></em>). The OnePlus Pad 3R might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. To recall, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2 Pro </a>is expected to be a rebranded version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/10/oppo-pad-4-pro-tablet-launched-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Pad 4 Pro that launched in China</a> earlier this month.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 4 Pro" class="wp-image-678438" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-featured.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Pad 4 Pro </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>This is a flagship grade tablet that offers cutting edge specs and features. If this is true, the OnePlus Pad 3R could be the most powerful Android tablet in the US market. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro (or Oppo Pad 4 Pro) is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite that also powers the OnePlus 13 and other flagship Android smartphones. This chip may be paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. </p>

<p>On the front, it could sport a tall 13.2-inch IPS LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,400 x 3,392 resolution, Dolby Vision, and an 8MP selfie shooter. The rear is expected to feature a 13MP camera. A massive 12,140mAh battery pack powers this tablet, which supports 67W wired fast charging. The OnePlus Pad 3R would likely run on the Android 15 OS out of the box. </p>

<p><strong>Note:</strong> It has now been confirmed that the model number &#8220;OPPO OPD2409&#8221; corresponds to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/10/oppo-pad-4-pro-tablet-launched-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recently launched OPPO Pad 4 Pro.</a></p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> is working on the successor of its flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-pro" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad Pro</a> tablet, which is expected to be called the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. The device recently made an appearance on China&#8217;s 3C certification database, revealing its 80W fast charging capability. Now, it has also been spotted on Geekbench, confirming key details about its processor, operating system and general performance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="782" height="980" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus Pad 2 Pro" class="wp-image-678415" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229.png 782w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229-239x300.png 239w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229-768x962.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229-696x872.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Screenshot-2025-03-24-081229-335x420.png 335w" sizes="(max-width: 782px) 100vw, 782px" /></figure></div>

<p>The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, identified by the model number &#8220;OPPO OPD2409,&#8221; has appeared on Geekbench, revealing an 8-core processor with two cores reaching up to 4.32GHz, while the remaining six are clocked at 3.53GHz. The listing also indicates the device runs on an Android 15-based operating system and includes 16GB of RAM. Previous reports have confirmed that the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It has scored 2633 points on the single-core test and 7779 on the multi-core test of Geekbench 6.</p>

<p>The Pad 2 Pro is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/13/oneplus-pad-2-pro-full-specifications-tipped/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rumored</a> to feature a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD panel, offering sharper visuals than its predecessor’s 2.8K screen. It will include up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM, targeting power users and multitaskers. A 10,000mAh battery—unchanged from the prior model—will leverage 80W charging for quicker top-ups. Camera specs include a 13MP rear sensor and 8MP front shooter, maintaining focus on productivity over photography.</p>

<p>Notably, the Pad 2 Pro shares core specs with Oppo’s upcoming Pad 4 Pro, set to launch in April 2025 in China. Both tablets likely share supply-chain resources, though distinctions in software tweaks or design remain unconfirmed. OnePlus has not announced a release date, but Oppo’s timeline suggests a possible Q2 2025 debut.</p>

<p>According to reports, the Chinese market will be treated to two Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablets in the first half of the year. These include the Oppo Pad 4 Pro and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus">OnePlus</a> Pad 2 Pro. While Oppo has already started teasing the arrival of the Pad 4 Pro, the OnePlus offering may not be far behind. The reason is that the Pad 2 Pro has received certification from China’s 3C authority, indicating its arrival may not be far away.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro 3C certified</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="817" height="275" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-3C-certified.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus Pad 2 Pro 3C certified" class="wp-image-678309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-3C-certified.png 817w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-3C-certified-300x101.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-3C-certified-768x259.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/OnePlus-Pad-2-Pro-3C-certified-696x234.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 817px) 100vw, 817px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro 3C certified</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As can be seen above, a new OnePlus tablet bearing the OPD2413 model number has appeared in 3C’s database. While the listing reveals that the device may ship with an 80W fast charger, there’s no information about its other specifications.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<p>A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/13/oneplus-pad-2-pro-full-specifications-tipped/">recent report</a> revealed that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel that offers a 3.4K resolution. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a>-powered device is expected to ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.</p>

<p>The Pad 2 Pro is expected to run on ColorOS for Pad-based Android 15. It is likely to house a battery of around 10,000mAh capacity with 80W rapid charging support. The Pad 2 Pro may feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.</p>

<p>These specs suggest that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will be quite similar to the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/21/official-teasers-reveal-oppo-pad-4-pro-watch-x2-mini-aimed-at-female-users/">expected to launch in April in China</a>. Hopefully, upcoming reports will reveal how the tablets will differ from each other.</p>

<p>A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/03/09/oppo-pad-4-pro-vivo-pad-4-pro-xiaomi-pad-7s-pro-april-launch-key-specifications-revealed/">recent report</a> revealed that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Vivo Pad 4 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 7s Pro are the flagship tablets that will hit the Chinese market in the first half of this year. These tablets are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dimensity 9400, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Now, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will also debut soon within the first half of this year. The source also revealed the tablet&#8217;s key specifications.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="921" height="333" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-55.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-676896" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-55.png 921w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-55-300x108.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-55-768x278.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/image-55-696x252.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 921px) 100vw, 921px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Pad 2 Pro keys specifications tipped</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the tipster, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will be another Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablet set to launch in the Chinese market in H1 2025. The tipster revealed that the tablet sports a 13.2-inch custom LCD screen that offers a 3.4K resolution.</p>

<p>The Pad 2 Pro, designed with a gaming-focused approach, will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a> chipset, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Powering the device will be a massive battery of around 10,000mAh capacity, supported by 67W or 80W fast charging. For cameras, it will include an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor and a 13-megapixel rear camera.</p>

<p>To recall, OnePlus unveiled the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-pro">OnePlus Pad Pro</a> powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in June 2024. A couple of months later, Oppo announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-3-pro">Oppo Pad 3 Pro</a> equipped with the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition chipset. However, the rest of the core specs were identical on both devices.</p>

<p>Therefore, it is likely that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will bear a resemblance to the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. Recent reports have revealed that the Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and support 80W charging.</p>
