A recent report revealed that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Vivo Pad 4 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 7s Pro are the flagship tablets that will hit the Chinese market in the first half of this year. These tablets are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dimensity 9400, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Now, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed that the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will also debut soon within the first half of this year. The source also revealed the tablet’s key specifications.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pro specifications (rumored)
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will be another Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablet set to launch in the Chinese market in H1 2025. The tipster revealed that the tablet sports a 13.2-inch custom LCD screen that offers a 3.4K resolution.
The Pad 2 Pro, designed with a gaming-focused approach, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Powering the device will be a massive battery of around 10,000mAh capacity, supported by 67W or 80W fast charging. For cameras, it will include an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
To recall, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Pad Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in June 2024. A couple of months later, Oppo announced the Oppo Pad 3 Pro equipped with the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition chipset. However, the rest of the core specs were identical on both devices.
Therefore, it is likely that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will bear a resemblance to the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. Recent reports have revealed that the Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and support 80W charging.
