<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The OPAodMod is not a new Xposed module after all. It has been existing since last year but now it has been updated with new features after a hiatus as the original developer dropped support. This module is now maintained by an XDA Recognized Developer named Quinny899.</span></p>

Later, earlier this month, it also shared a </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/04/oneplus-reveals-timeline-for-aodalways-on-display-implementation/"><span style="font-weight: 400">rough timeline</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, according to which the development will only begin in June.</span></p>
