<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a>’s newest flagship tablet, the Pad 4 Pro, has arrived, and on paper, it looks like the company’s most ambitious slate yet. Unveiled alongside its Find X8s series in China, the Pad 4 Pro packs serious hardware, bleeding-edge display tech, and a refined software experience. But how much of an upgrade is it, really, when compared to its predecessors — the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-3-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Pad 3 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Pad 2</a>?</p>

<p>Let’s unpack what’s truly new, what’s just polished, and where Oppo is finally starting to make real strides.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 4 Pro" class="wp-image-682829" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Bigger, Bolder, Sharper</strong></h3>

<p>The most immediate change? Size. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-4-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Pad 4 Pro</a> leaps to a massive 13.2-inch screen, the largest in Oppo’s tablet portfolio, up from the 12.1-inch Pad 3 Pro and 11.6-inch Pad 2. The resolution also gets a bump, with the new display pushing 3392 x 2400 pixels (3.4K), versus the 3K panel on the Pad 3 Pro and 2.8K on the Pad 2. Combine that with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and 900 nits of brightness, and you get one of the sharpest and most responsive LCD displays on a tablet today.</p>

<p>But the real kicker is the 540Hz touch sampling rate. Oppo says this panel is tuned for demanding games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, promising both 2.1K ultra-high image quality and 120fps gameplay. That’s a bold claim for any tablet, let alone one running on Android.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>Powering the Pad 4 Pro is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/qualcomm/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Qualcomm</a>’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. This puts it ahead of the Pad 3 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version (a 4nm chip), and leagues ahead of the Dimensity 9000 inside the Pad 2. It’s not just about clock speed either. The Elite’s Adreno 830 GPU, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and blazing-fast UFS 4.0 storage, gives the Pad 4 Pro a significant performance headroom, ideal for heavy multitasking, gaming, and creative workflows.</p>

<p>That said, the Pad 3 Pro’s Gen 3 chip is still no slouch. But the lack of UFS 4.0 and limited RAM/storage variant (12GB + 256GB) in global markets means it doesn’t scale up as flexibly as the Pad 4 Pro, which goes all the way to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Audio Refinement</strong></h3>

<p>Design-wise, the Pad 4 Pro sticks to Oppo’s now-familiar formula: a sleek metal unibody, ultra-thin profile (just 5.97mm), and symmetrical bezels. It weighs 675g, noticeably heavier than the Pad 3 Pro (586g) and Pad 2 (552g), but that’s the trade-off for the larger display and beefier battery.</p>

<p>Speaking of sound, the audio setup gets a serious boost. The Pad 4 Pro sports eight speakers in a 4 mid-bass + 4 tweeter layout, with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification. That’s up from six speakers on the Pad 3 Pro and four on the Pad 2. Whether you’re watching Netflix or gaming with spatial audio, this thing should sound great on paper at least.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery, Charging, and Connectivity</strong></h3>

<p>Oppo’s tablets have long featured generous batteries, but the Pad 4 Pro takes it a step further with a 12,140mAh cell, up from the 9510mAh units used in both previous models. Charging remains at 67W SuperVOOC across the board, but it’s good to see Oppo maintaining that fast-charging standard even as battery sizes increase.</p>

<p>Connectivity also gets a generational bump. The Pad 4 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and 5G sharing. That’s a more future-proof I/O setup than the Pad 2’s older Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6.</p>

<h3><strong>Software</strong></h3>

<p>The Pad 4 Pro ships with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, making it one of the first Android tablets to launch with the latest OS. In contrast, the Pad 3 Pro and Pad 2 were released with Android 14 and Android 13, respectively. Anyways, all of them currently boot the latest ColorOS 15 (Android 15). They offer better multi-device sync, improved window management, and native support for AI-powered features as well.</p>

<h3><strong>Accessories and Ecosystem</strong></h3>

<p>Accessories also carry over, but with refinement. The Pad 4 Pro supports the new Smart Touch Keyboard and Oppo Pencil 2 Pro, offering improved magnetic connection, pressure sensitivity, and pairing via NFC. The Pencil 2 Pro was already bundled with the Pad 3 Pro in some regions, but here it’s an optional upgrade.</p>

<h3><strong>Final Thoughts</strong></h3>

<p>Oppo has steadily evolved its tablet line from the Pad 2 to the Pad 3 Pro, but with the Pad 4 Pro, it finally feels like a flagship worthy of the price. Bigger display, more powerful chipset, better sound, and refined software all come together to make it more than just a spec bump. It’s still an Android tablet, yes, but one that actually tries to make the most of the hardware it ships with.</p>

<p>If you skipped the Pad 3 Pro or are still on the Pad 2, this is probably the one worth upgrading to. Oppo is expected to launch this tablet under the OnePlus umbrella, which will likely debut as the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro in global markets.</p>

According to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, the Pad 4 Pro will be the first tablet to feature Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will offer a significant upgrade in performance over the Pad 3 Pro.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="898" height="700" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo-Pad-3-Pro" class="wp-image-655070" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.jpg 898w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-300x234.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-768x599.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-696x543.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-539x420.jpg 539w" sizes="(max-width: 898px) 100vw, 898px" /><figcaption>Oppo Pad 3 Pro</figcaption></figure>

<h2>Oppo Pad 4 Pro tipped to launch in April with Snapdragon 8 Elite</h2>

<p>The Oppo Pad 4 Pro will debut just six months after its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-3-pro/">Pad 3 Pro</a>, which was launched in October 2024 alongside the Find X8 series. The Pad 3 Pro was essentially a rebranded OnePlus Pad 2, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 12.1-inch IPS display. The upcoming Pad 4 Pro is expected to take things a step further with the Snapdragon 8 Elite (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/24/snapdragon-8-elite-vs-snapdragon-8-gen-3/#:~:text=The%20Prime%20Oryon%20core%20inside,largest%20on%20a%20mobile%20chipset.">vs 8 Gen 3</a>). It means the upcoming tablet will be able to handle almost anything you can throw at it.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="874" height="187" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-DCS.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-675271" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-DCS.jpg 874w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-DCS-300x64.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-DCS-768x164.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Oppo-Pad-4-Pro-DCS-696x149.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 874px) 100vw, 874px" /></figure>

<p>The Oppo Pad 4 Pro could be followed by the standard model, which is expected to share some similarities with the mid-range <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-3/">OnePlus Pad 3</a>. For reference, the Oppo Pad 3 was launched a month after the Pad 3 Pro, which is not only slightly smaller than the Pro model (11.61&#8243; down from 12.1&#8243;) but is also much lighter (533 g down from 586).</p>

<p>Both the OnePlus Pad 3 and Oppo Pad 3 use the mid-range Dimensity 8350 chipset, and the Oppo Pad 4 could pack a slightly more capable chipset.</p>

<p>While there&#8217;s not much information available about the Oppo Pad 4 series, we can refer to the predecessors to get an idea of what to expect. To recall, the Oppo Pad 3 (or the OnePlus Pad 3) packs an IPS LCD panel that reaches up to 700 nits in peak brightness, has a resolution of 2000 x 2800 pixels, measures 6.3mm in thickness, and weighs 533g. The Chinese version of this tablet is based on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Oppo Pad 3 Pro (launched alongside the Find X8 and X8 Pro back in October) packs a larger 12.1&#8243; display (2120 x 3000 resolution) and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. So the successor, the Pad 4 Pro, is likely to boast the Snapdragon 8 Elite.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-3/">Oppo Pad 3</a> is the brand’s latest tablet. It is a toned-down version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-3-pro/">Oppo Pad 3 Pro</a>.</p>

<p>Though it sounds like a successor to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-pad-2/">Oppo Pad 2</a>, it isn’t. The product is actually the first of its kind.</p>

<p>The first two generations of Oppo’s premium tablet lineup did not have a ‘pro’ variant. The non-pro models themselves offered the best set of features.</p>

<p>This changes with the third generation. The Oppo Pad 3 Pro is the successor to the Oppo Pad 2, while the Oppo Pad 3 is a newer more affordable product.z</p>

<p>Here in this post, let’s find out how the new gen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Oppo/">Oppo</a> tablets are different from one another.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 3" class="wp-image-661767" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Featured.jpg 1986w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Pad 3</figcaption></figure>

<h2><strong>Oppo Pad 3 vs Oppo Pad 3 Pro: Differences Explained</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>A huge difference in performance</strong></h3>

<p>The Oppo Pad 3 houses a new mid-range SoC called MediaTek Dimensity 8350. This very same chip also powers the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13/">Oppo Reno 13</a> series.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per official details, Dimensity 8350 is the same as the Dimensity 8300 with a different gaming engine. It comes with StarSpeed Engine instead of HyperEngine. Otherwise, there’s no change in hardware configuration.</p>

<p>This means Dimensity 8350 is inferior to the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 present inside the Oppo Pad 3 Pro. It is only comparable to the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3.</p>

<p>Additionally, the Oppo Pad 3 comes with slower UFS 3.1 storage than UFS 4.0 in the pro model. However, both tablets feature LPDDR5x RAM.</p>

<h3><strong>Slightly different displays</strong></h3>

<p>The Oppo Pad 3 is built around an 11.61-inch LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio. This panel offers a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, 296 PPI, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits peak brightness level.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the display on the Oppo Pad 3 Pro is not only a tad bit larger but also brighter and offers better resolution as well as pixel density.</p>

<p>To be precise, the pro version’s display is brighter at 900 nits and has a resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels with 303 PPI.</p>

<h3><strong>Common features</strong></h3>

<p>Both tablets are backed by an identical 9,520mAh battery. They also max out at the same 67W charging support.</p>

<p>The duo sports a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. This Type-C interface supports video out and can transfer data at a maximum rate of 5Gbps.</p>

<p>The devices don’t have a fingerprint sensor and rely on the front 8MP camera for face authentication. They can be also paired with official keyboard and stylus accessories.</p>

<p>None of them support cellular connectivity and depend on WiFi or mobile hotspots for internet. Lastly, they use the same metal body design.</p>

<h3><strong>The price gap</strong></h3>

<p>The Oppo Pad 3 is priced at ¥2,399 (~$330) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The same configuration of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro costs ¥3,299 (~$455).</p>

<p>That’s a price difference of ¥900.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For $125 more, the pro variant offers a superior chipset and a slightly better display. Otherwise, the two products are more or less the same.</p>

<p>However, if you are tight on budget, you can opt for the base 8GB + 128GB variant of Oppo Pad 3 at just ¥2,099 (~$290). Similarly, if you want more RAM (16GB) and storage (1TB), you can get this combo only with the Oppo Pad 3 Pro for ¥4,499 (~$620).</p>

Let’s walk through its feature set and price here.</p>

<h2><strong>Oppo Pad 3 Pro Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The Pad 3 Pro features a large 12.1-inch 3K (3200 x 2120) display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision. Under the hood, the tablet packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading chipset, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Oppo equips the Pad 3 Pro with Android 14 overlaid with its ColorOS 14.1 user interface. While the software provides a familiar Android experience with Oppo&#8217;s customizations, it&#8217;s worth noting that except the OS, the Pad 3 Pro and the recently released <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2</a> are entirely similar. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 3 Pro" class="wp-image-658310" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure></div>

<p>The camera system on the Pad 3 Pro is relatively basic, featuring a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter. Connectivity options include the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Powering the device is a sizeable 9510mAh battery, which Oppo claims will provide ample runtime. The tablet also supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.</p>

<h2><strong>Price and Availability</strong></h2>

<p>Currently, the Pad 3 Pro comes in a single Starlit Blue color option. The global launch price is set at €600 (around $632 USD) or £499 for the sole 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Oppo is offering a pre-order incentive for those who purchase the Pad 3 Pro before December 31st. These early adopters will receive the Oppo Pencil 2 Pro stylus and the Oppo Smart Keyboard free of charge, adding value to the overall package. To note, Oppo hasn’t shared details about the device’s launch in the Indian market yet.</p>

<p>We are just days away from the launch of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/14/oppo-pad-3-pro-launch-date-variants-color-options/">scheduled</a> for October 24.</p>

<p>The latest leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, the gaming test of the Pad 3 Pro, finally suggests the completion of the development. The Genshin Impact gameplay test on the upcoming tablet reveals some amazing results &#8211; the device offers an average frame rate of 59.53fps while running the game at a high 2.1K resolution.</p>

<h2>Pad 3 Pro managed to sustain Genshin Impact in 120fps</h2>

<p>In addition to that, the tablet also supports 120fps gameplay in Genshin Impact, where it offers an average frame rate of 119.25fps. According to the tipster, this is achieved by using frame interpolation technology.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-900x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-655071" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-900x1024.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-264x300.jpg 264w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-768x874.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-1350x1536.jpg 1350w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-696x792.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-1068x1215.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test-369x420.jpg 369w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Genshin-Impact-test.jpg 1406w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>While the tipster didn&#8217;t share much about <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/">Oppo</a>&#8216;s implementation of the feature, it generally uses a separate chipset to draw frames between the ones generated from the main GPU and offers a smoother motion.<br>.<br>What&#8217;s more surprising, is the stable performance of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo-pad-3-pro/">Pad 3 Pro</a>. Other than some occasional stutters, it maintained the max frame rate throughout the 30-minute testing in 60fps and 120fps testing. The tablet consumed about 10.5W of power throughout the gaming session, which isn&#8217;t too much either.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="898" height="700" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo-Pad-3-Pro" class="wp-image-655070" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro.jpg 898w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-300x234.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-768x599.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-696x543.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-539x420.jpg 539w" sizes="(max-width: 898px) 100vw, 898px" /></figure>

<p>However, heat dissipation is also a very important factor when it comes to sustained performance, and we have no data about it for this test. Just by changing the cooling situation, you can totally change the sustained performance of a device. For instance, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-red-magic-9s-pro/">Nubia Redmagic 9S Pro</a> (with a fan) scored over 59fps on this game on a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/21/snapdragon-8-gen-3-with-better-cooling-outperforms-apple-a18-pro-in-genshin-impact/">previous test</a>, whereas the Xiaomi 14 Pro only managed to score about 38fps despite running on the same chip. As we don&#8217;t know the environmental temperature in which the Pad 3 Pro was tested, we should take the results with a pinch of salt.</p>

<p>That said, the test also confirms the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is based on a stable and efficient 4nm process.</p>

<p>The Pad 3 Pro comes with a design similar to its predecessor and packs a 12.1&#8243; 3K IPS LCD display and a 9510mAh battery, which supports 67W charging, and up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options. Significant in context, the Genshin Impact test was performed on the 16GB version of the tablet.</p>

<p>The pre-orders of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro have started on platforms like Oppo Store in China and JD.com. These listings show that the tablet will be available in multiple options, such as 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be sold in colors like Night Blue and Dawn Gold.</p>

<p>Rumors circulated at the beginning of this year that the company would launch the Oppo Pad 3 in China. However, the launch did not happen. Instead, the same device was rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market in July.</p>

<p>The brand is now preparing to launch the Oppo Pad 3 Pro in China. While the company hasn’t confirmed anything about the tablet, speculations suggests that it will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/27/oppo-pad-3-pro-key-specs-leaked/">Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset</a>. It will run on ColorOS 15 and come with support for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/13/oppo-pad-3-could-be-rebranded-as-oppo-pad-3-pro-come-with-smart-protective-case-and-a-pencil-2-pro-stylus/">Oppo Pencil 2 Pro stylus</a>.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-1024x1024.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 3 Pro - Dawn Gold" class="wp-image-654918" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-1024x1024.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-1068x1068.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold-420x420.png 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Oppo-Pad-3-Pro-Dawn-Gold.png 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Pad 3 Pro &#8211; Dawn Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The official images show that the Oppo Pad 3 Pro shares the same design as the OnePlus Pad 2. Therefore, it is likely that the upcoming Oppo tablet may inherit some specifications of the OnePlus Pad 2.</p>

<p>To recall, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2/">OnePlus Pad 2</a> came with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 2120 x 3000 pixels of resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 8 GB/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128 GB/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 9,510 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It is equipped with other features, such as six speakers, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 13-megapixel rear camera.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a> is expected to launch its next flagship smartphones, the Find X8 and X8 Pro in October. It turns out, that the phones will be accompanied by two additional products if a rumor by usually reliable tipster <em>Digital Chat Station </em>is to be believed.</p>

<p>The tipster took to his Weibo to reveal that Oppo will be launching Pad 3 Pro tablet and Enco X3 earbuds alongside the Find X8 phones. There&#8217;s no mention of a specific launch date or timeframe, though. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="330" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-1024x330.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-647619" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-1024x330.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-300x97.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-768x248.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-696x224.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October-1068x344.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Product-Launch-October.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>These are all top-of-the-line products from the Chinese brand. For instance, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/22/oppo-find-x8-x8-pro-key-specifications-global-launch-timeline/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Find X8 and X8 Pro</a> will come with MediaTek’s upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9400/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 9400</a> processor. Both of them will have an OLED display, but the former is expected to have a flat 6.7-inch panel while the latter may come with a 6.8-inch curved display. </p>

<p>Their camera setup is said to include a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 3x telephoto lens. The Pro model will add a 10x periscope telephoto to complete the setup. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Oppo-Find-X8-series-render-722x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>Likewise, the duo will share 100W wired charging support. It will fuel a 5600mAh cell in the X8 and a 5700mAh battery on the X8 Pro. </p>

<p>The Oppo Pad 3 Pro, on the other hand, is said to feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/27/oppo-pad-3-pro-key-specs-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition</a> processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage that will run Android 15-based ColorOS 15 environment. </p>

<p>Moving on, almost complete details of the Enco X3 have been revealed in a <a href="https://gizmochina.com/2024/08/28/oppo-enco-x3-full-specifications-design-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">leak</a> yesterday. For a quick recap, it is expected to have a dual-driver design consisting of 11mm bass and a 6mm tweeter. The noise cancellation will be up to 50dB while the buds will be IP55 rated for protection against dust and water. </p>

According to Digital Chat Station, the tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Accelerated Edition processor, positioning it among the high-performance tablets in the market.</p>

<h2>Oppo Pad 3 Pro to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Accelerated Edition</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="944" height="232" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/image-124.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Pad 3 Pro DCS leak" class="wp-image-647334" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/image-124.png 944w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/image-124-300x74.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/image-124-768x189.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/image-124-696x171.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 944px) 100vw, 944px" /></figure></div>

<p>Additionally, the tablet is rumored to come with 16GB of RAM paired with 1TB of storage, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and extensive media storage.</p>

<p>However, the much-anticipated <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/coloros-15/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ColorOS 15</a> system update won&#8217;t be available right at launch. The tipster mentioned that this new version of ColorOS will arrive later on the device, though no specific timeline has been provided. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/15/coloros-15-beta-testing-august-oneplus-12-oppo-find-x7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">beta testing of the ColorOS 15</a> is about to start by the end of this month on the OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7 series smartphones.</p>

<p>As per previous leaks, the Oppo Pad 3 Pro&#8217;s design is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/27/oppo-pad-3-rumored-to-be-a-clone-of-oneplus-pad-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported to be almost identical</a> to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad Pro</a>. The tablet will come in two color options: Blue and Gold expanding the color palette from the existing grey and green options of the OnePlus Pad Pro.</p>

<p>Alongside the tablet, Oppo will also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/13/oppo-pad-3-could-be-rebranded-as-oppo-pad-3-pro-come-with-smart-protective-case-and-a-pencil-2-pro-stylus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">offer accessories</a> such as a smart protective case and the Oppo Pencil 2 Pro stylus in black, enhancing its utility for both professional and casual users.</p>

<p>In the comment section, Digital Chat Station also suggested that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi-pad-7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi Pad 7</a>, another upcoming competitor in the tablet market, will offer &#8220;significantly lower performance,&#8221; even though it&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/15/xiaomi-pad-7-tipped-to-come-with-snapdragon-8-gen-3-and-an-oled-display/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">expected to feature</a> the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. While details are sparse, this implies that the Oppo Pad 3 Pro could have a significant advantage over Xiaomi&#8217;s offering in terms of processing power.</p>

<p>Additionally, Digital Chat Station hinted that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-ace-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Ace 5</a> might also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Accelerated Edition processor, potentially setting a new performance benchmark in its category.</p>

<p>According to previous rumors, the company will launch a number of new products including the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo-enco-x3/">Oppo Enco X3</a> TWS earphone and the Oppo Pad 3 Pro. The latter one is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.</p>

<h2>The previously speculated OPPO Pad 3 could be released as OPPO Pad 3 Pro</h2>

<p>Notably the Oppo Pad 3 was expected to launch back in May the with the same basic specifications. However, the company is yet to announce the product. Now it is speculated that the product will be launched as Oppo Pad 3 Pro and will have major similarities with the OnePlus Pad Pro in appearance and specification. For those unaware, the OnePlus Pad Pro was launched towards the end of June.</p>

<p>If the rumor is true, we can get an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Oppo tablet by referring to the already-released <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus-pad-pro/">OnePlus Pad Pro</a>. The tablet comes with a dimension of 268.7 x 195.1 x 6.5 mm and weighs 584g, which is 32g heavier than the Oppo Pad 2. The tablet from OnePlus offers a glass front, aluminum back, and aluminum frame.</p>

<p>On the front, the OnePlus Pad Pro equips an IPS LCD (2120 x 3000 pixels) display that offers 600 nits in typical brightness and can reach a peak of 900 nits. It is measured at 12.1 inches, as opposed to 11.61 inches of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo-pad-2/">Oppo Pad 2</a>. The OnePlus Pad 2 also packs the same 9510 mAh battery and supports 67W charging as the previously speculated Oppo Pad 3.</p>
