The phone&#8217;s launch confirmed the speculation that it is basically a rebranded<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-11/"> Redmi Note 11 5G</a> (aka <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-11t-5g/">Redmi Note 11T 5G</a>). However, the launch event showcased a teaser for another upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">POCO</a> device which could be another rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi</a> smartphone.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-443516" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--1024x473.jpg?x44794" alt="POCO X4 Teaser" width="696" height="321" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--1024x473.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--300x139.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--768x355.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--696x321.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--1068x493.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4--910x420.jpg 910w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-X4-.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>The teaser was first spotted by <a href="https://t.me/xiaomiui/10965" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>xiaomiui</em></a>, and leads us to believe that the teaser could be hinting at the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-x4/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">POCO X4</a> which has recently been making rounds on various <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/04/poco-x4-5g-launch-imminent-bags-vital-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">certification databases</a> and has also appeared on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/06/poco-x4-5g-india-edition-spotted-at-geekbench-launch-seems-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Geekbench</a> a couple of times.</p>
<p>The smartphone in the obscured teaser image has a design similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-11-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi Note 11 Pro</a>, which further leads us to believe that the device is the upcoming POCO X4 as recent <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/14/poco-x4-5g-global-variant-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Geekbench listings</a> have revealed the X4 is essentially a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro.</p>
<figure id="attachment_440482" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-440482" style="width: 696px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-440482" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-1024x673.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G global edition" width="696" height="457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-1024x673.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-300x197.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-768x505.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-696x457.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-741x486.png 741w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-1068x702.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G-639x420.png 639w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Redmi-Note-11-Pro-5G.png 1243w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-440482" class="wp-caption-text">Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G global edition</figcaption></figure>
<p>The veiled camera bump also alludes that it could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-f4-gt/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">POCO F4 GT</a> which is said to be a rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi-k50-gaming-edition/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi K50 Gaming Edition</a>, however, unless the image is digitally modified to omit the high placed volume button and shoulder trigger, it is unlikely that the teased smartphone is the upcoming POCO F4 GT.</p>
<p>Coming back to the POCO X4, as the device is expected to be a rebranded Note 11 Pro with a few cosmetic changes, we can expect it to carry a 6.67-inch S-AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.</p>
<p>The POCO X4 will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695">Snapdragon 695</a> SoC and will feature  6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. Storage options will likely range from 64GB to 128GB. It will come with a 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 67W fast charging. The X4 will run MIUI 13 out of the box and will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.</p>
<p>Coming to its photography capabilities, It will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.</p>
<p>It is too early to tell if the tested phone is indeed the POCO X4, so we suggest our readers take it with a pinch of salt.</p>
