After teasing for a few days, POCO has finally launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G in India today as scheduled. This smartphone was initially announced in November for multiple international markets. It is basically a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G (aka Redmi Note 11T 5G). The handset differs from the original by featuring a tweaked design and sporting different colors.
POCO M4 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The phone is built around a 6.5-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 90Hz refresh rate. The centered-punch hole panel supports up to 240Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 color gamut.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimesnity 810 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots MIUI 12.5 for POCO operating system based on Android 11.
It houses a dual-camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-unit. On the front, it has a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the handset offers support for dual SIM card slots, 5G (7 bands), dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port.
It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio certification, an x-axis linear vibration motor, a MicroSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There’s also a presence of useful sensors, such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and IR blaster.
The IP53-certified smartphone gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery, which has support for 33W fast charging. Last but not least, the POCO-branded phone measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm in dimensions, weighs 195g, and arrives in three colors (Power Black, POCO Yellow, Cool Blue).

The POCO M4 Pro 5G will retail at the following price tags in India.
- 4GB + 64GB – ₹14,999
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹16,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹18,999
The device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. Its first sale is scheduled for at 12 PM on February 22.
