<p>Alongside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/28/rayneo-gt-max-ar-glasses-dolby-vision-launch-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GT Max</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/rayneo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RayNeo</a> also launched the RayNeo V4, a follow-up to its V3 AI photography glasses. And this generation, the company isn’t betting on new AI features or add-ons. RayNeo spent its engineering budget to get the basics right, make the glasses respond fast, and last longer. </p>

<p>According to the brand, the AI glasses industry added over 200 new features in the past year, yet long-term user adoption of those features sits below 6%. The company&#8217;s response was to stop adding things and start fixing what already exists. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo V4 launch Specs Price" class="wp-image-739990" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-launch-Specs-Price-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>RayNeo V4 Glasses Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>On speed, the V4 runs a dual-chip architecture pairing Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon AR1 with a Hengxuan BES2800 low-power chip. The key move is migrating AI capabilities to an RTOS-based low-power system, which lets the glasses wake directly into the AI engine without the scheduling overhead of a full Android platform.&nbsp;</p>

<p>RayNeo claims a 0.2-second wake time and a 2.1-second voice response, which reportedly is a 138% improvement over the V3. Likewise, the glasses can recognize images in around 3.7 seconds. </p>

<p>It also has a 4-microphone array plus a bone conduction microphone to handle voice pickup, the latter being particularly useful in quiet environments where traditional mics struggle.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="465" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo V4 Glasses Processor" class="wp-image-739991" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor-300x155.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor-768x397.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor-696x360.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-Glasses-Processor-813x420.jpg 813w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>As for battery, RayNeo developed what it calls a &#8220;Blue Whale semi-solid battery&#8221; using a high-silicon anode and steel shell packaging. The result is a 57% increase in capacity over the V3.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In practice, that translates to roughly 47 minutes of continuous video recording, 11.5 hours of music playback, or about 949 photos before hitting 10% battery. The charging case adds another seven full charges, and fast charging gets the glasses to 80% in 25 minutes.</p>

<h2><strong>RayNeo V4 imaging is built around a custom Omnivision sensor</strong></h2>

<p>The imaging system also gets a significant overhaul. RayNeo co-developed a custom OG09B square sensor with OmniVision Technologies. It is a 1:1 aspect ratio sensor measuring 1/2.9 inches, roughly 50% larger than the IMX681 commonly found in competing glasses.</p>

<p>The square format means less cropping when switching between horizontal and vertical shooting, which maps well to how people actually share content today.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The individual pixel size comes in at 2.09 micrometers for better low-light performance, and the system supports an F2.2 aperture, 17mm ultra-wide lens, 2.5K video, and dynamic image stabilization. RayNeo also partnered with ArcSoft to optimize image algorithms across more than 150 scenarios.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="743" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-AI-Glasses-Specifications.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo V4 AI Glasses Specifications" class="wp-image-739992" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-AI-Glasses-Specifications.jpg 743w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-AI-Glasses-Specifications-300x242.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-AI-Glasses-Specifications-696x562.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-V4-AI-Glasses-Specifications-520x420.jpg 520w" sizes="(max-width: 743px) 100vw, 743px" /></figure></div>

<p>The V4 has a new feature called Awesome Mode that captures a photo or 15-second clip without the user having to trigger anything manually. It&#8217;s arriving via OTA update in June.</p>

<p>The V4 also becomes the first RayNeo AI glasses to carry an IP67 rating. All of this comes in at 38 grams, with titanium hinges, a multi-layer sandblasted finish, and an air nose pad designed to sit like a regular pair of glasses.</p>

<p>The glasses are available in Midnight Black, Fog Gray, and Wilderness Green, plus a sunglasses version that, for the first time, uses a combination of transparent and gradient lens technology.</p>

<h2><strong>RayNeo V4 Pricing and Availability</strong></h2>

<p>The RayNeo V4 starts at 2,199 yuan (around $325) in China.. The sunglasses version runs 2,399 yuan (around $353), and the all-in-one set with charging case and accessories is 2,799 yuan (around $412). The charging case is 299 yuan separately, or 199 yuan when bought with the glasses. First deliveries go out on May 30th.</p>

<p>TCL-backed <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/rayneo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RayNeo</a> has just announced its new flagship RayNeo GT series AR glasses. Headlined by the premium RayNeo GT Max, the lineup brings the widest field of view in consumer AR glasses, the first-ever Dolby Vision support, and a collaboration with Bang &amp; Olufsen for spatial audio.</p>

<p>The magic number here is 59 degrees. That&#8217;s the GT Max&#8217;s field of view, and RayNeo says it&#8217;s one of the largest available in consumer-grade AR glasses right now.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT Max launch specs price" class="wp-image-739983" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-launch-specs-price-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<p>For comparison, most AR glasses sit at 45 degrees. RayNeo claims the jump translates to roughly 86% more display area. The company describes the experience as a &#8220;267-inch giant screen six meters away,&#8221; which puts it in the same conversation as an IMAX theater.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>RayNeo GT Max has a new optical engine, a dual-layer Micro OLED panel</strong></h2>

<p>To pull that off, RayNeo built a new optical engine called the Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max. It uses a prism light module and multi-layer reflection technology, and somehow manages to cut overall thickness by 29% despite the complexity. Although RayNeo says manufacturing time for a single optical module jumped 60%, and costs more than doubled.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The display itself is a 5.5-generation Micro OLED panel with a dual-layer design for better brightness, color, and contrast. RayNeo worked with TCL&#8217;s picture quality lab to tune the image and has introduced a &#8220;Pure Cinema Mode&#8221; to preserve what creators originally intended rather than pumping up saturation.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT Max Design" class="wp-image-739984" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Then there&#8217;s the Dolby Vision partnership. The GT Max is, officially, the world&#8217;s first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision. You&#8217;ll need RayNeo&#8217;s new Magic Box 2 Dolby Vision Edition to play Dolby Vision content, but the pipeline is there. RayNeo has also locked in partnerships with Youku, Tencent Video, iQIYI, and Bilibili for content access.</p>

<p>Under the hood, the GT Max runs two dedicated chips: the Vision 4000 for image processing and the Zone 360 for spatial calculation. Together, they enable three display modes — follow mode, spatial fixation mode, and image stabilization — covering everything from watching movies on the couch to staying focused on a screen while riding a train.</p>

<p>Audio gets a serious upgrade, too. RayNeo fitted the GT Max with custom racetrack-shaped speakers, 38% larger than standard units, with a six-magnetic-circuit setup. Bang &amp; Olufsen handles the tuning, and head-tracking spatial audio means the sound shifts with the image&#8217;s position in space.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At 78 grams, the GT Max is not the lightest thing you&#8217;ll put on your face, but RayNeo did spend six months trimming it down from an 89-gram prototype. It uses nylon, magnesium-aluminum alloy, and powder metallurgy hinges to keep things manageable. It also supports prescription lenses, up to 1000 degrees of myopia and 800 degrees of hyperopia, and comes in S, M, and L sizes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="493" height="900" data-id="739985" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Specifications.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT Max Specifications" class="wp-image-739985" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Specifications.jpg 493w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Specifications-164x300.jpg 164w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Specifications-230x420.jpg 230w" sizes="(max-width: 493px) 100vw, 493px" /><figcaption>RayNeo GT Max</figcaption></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="493" height="900" data-id="739986" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Specifications.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT Specifications" class="wp-image-739986" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Specifications.jpg 493w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Specifications-164x300.jpg 164w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Specifications-230x420.jpg 230w" sizes="(max-width: 493px) 100vw, 493px" /><figcaption>RayNeo GT</figcaption></figure>
</figure>

<p>For those who don&#8217;t need the full flagship experience, RayNeo also launched the standard GT: a lighter 68-gram model with a 46-degree FOV that retains the dual-chip setup and spatial modes.</p>

<h2><strong>Price and Availability</strong></h2>

<p>Pricing starts at 2,599 yuan (around $385) for the GT Max. The GT comes in at 1,899 yuan (around $280). The Magic Box 2 Dolby Vision Edition is priced separately at 999 yuan (around $150). Pre-orders are open now, with first deliveries scheduled for May 30th.</p>

<p>Chinese consumer AR brand <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/rayneo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RayNeo</a> has announced a new line of flagship augmented reality glasses called the GT series. The first device in the series is called RayNeo GT Max. </p>

<p>Unlike the company’s existing <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/24/rayneo-air-4-are-worlds-first-hdr10-ready-ar-glasses-with-audio-by-bo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Air lineup</a>, which targets lightweight everyday use, the new GT series is a more premium option focused on what the company describes as a “professional film and television-grade” viewing experience.</p>

<p>The new products will officially launch on May 27 alongside an event at the TCL Chinese Theatre.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT series launch" class="wp-image-739499" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch-768x427.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch-696x387.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-series-launch-756x420.jpg 756w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>What is the RayNeo GT series all about?</strong></h2>

<p>The biggest upgrade in the new lineup is the display system. Most AR glasses designed for movie viewing usually offer a field of view of around 45 degrees, but the new RayNeo GT Max reportedly increases that to 59 degrees.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The company says the glasses use its self-developed Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max, along with a new hybrid prism light module, to create a virtual viewing experience similar to watching a 267-inch screen from six meters away.</p>

<p>The GT series will also introduce a new generation Micro-OLED display and a dedicated image quality chip called the Vision 4000. According to the company, the chip is designed to improve color accuracy and image processing for video playback.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo GT Max Launch Date" class="wp-image-739498" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/RayNeo-GT-Max-Launch-Date-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>RayNeo is also partnering with Dolby Laboratories for the new lineup. When paired with the RayNeo Magic Box 2 Dolby Vision Edition, the GT series is claimed to become the first AR glasses kit capable of supporting Dolby Vision playback. The company says this setup is intended to deliver cinema-style contrast and lighting performance.</p>

<p>The glasses will also bring a new dual-core system architecture. Alongside the image processing chip, the GT series includes a custom spatial computing chip called Zone 360. This processor enables native 3DoF spatial hovering and supports different viewing modes, including follow mode, fixed mode, and image stabilization.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For audio, RayNeo is working with Danish audio company Bang &amp; Olufsen to tune the sound system. The GT series includes a quad-speaker setup with built-in spatial audio and 360-degree head tracking.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Despite adding a wider field of view, spatial audio, and dual-chip architecture, the RayNeo GT Max weighs 78 grams.</p>

<p>Alongside the GT series, RayNeo is also expected to introduce its next-generation AI-powered shooting glasses, called the V4, during the same launch event later this month.</p>

<h2>RayNeo Air 4 Pro Specifications</h2>

<p>Just like the Air 3s series, the Air 4 Pro creates a personal cinema-like experience using a 201-inch virtual screen at a 6-meter viewing distance. The glasses use a custom Vision 4000 processor that supports real-time video enhancements, including SDR-to-HDR upscaling and 2D-to-3D conversion. The display aims to deliver brighter highlights, deeper contrast, and over a billion colors with HDR10 support.</p>

<p>The device weighs just 76g and features adjustable nose pads for added comfort. RayNeo designed the Air 4 Pro for all-day wear and travel. The audio system includes four speakers and directional sound tubes that reduce leakage. The tuning was done in collaboration with B&amp;O Sound Lab to ensure clarity and spatial separation.</p>

<p>The Air 4 Pro connects to smartphones, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles like the Switch 2 via USB-C. It supports any device with video output, allowing users to watch movies, play games, or browse apps on a large, private display.</p>

<p>TCL has priced the RayNeo Air 4 Pro at $299. The global launch is set for January 25.</p>

<p>RayNeo also showcased its flagship AR headset, the X3 Pro. This model features AI-powered functions, a 43-inch floating display, and real-time translation across multiple languages. It runs on Android and supports apps such as YouTube and TikTok. The company also presented a prototype version with eSIM support to explore standalone spatial computing.</p>

<p>With the Vision 4000, the Air 4 delivers up to 1200 nits of brightness and supports 1.07 billion colors. Like TVs, the glasses can also automatically convert standard HDR for more lifelike visuals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>RayNeo is using a 5.5-generation micro-OLED display that covers 145 percent of the sRGB space and 98 percent of DCI-P3, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. When viewed at full scale, the virtual screen can stretch up to a claimed 135 inches.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="732" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-712408" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Design.jpg 732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Design-300x246.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Design-696x570.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Design-512x420.jpg 512w" sizes="(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px" /></figure></div>

<p>It’s not just the visuals, though. RayNeo has teamed up with famous audio brand Bang &amp; Olufsen (B&amp;O) to tune a new four-speaker system powered by independent DAC drivers and ultra-large polymer diaphragms.&nbsp;</p>

<p>RayNeo says its engineers traveled to Denmark to work directly with B&amp;O’s acoustic team, fine-tuning what they call “high sound pressure level dynamic performance.” The result is a cleaner, deeper sound with an optional sound guide fin that directs audio straight to the ear, cutting sound loss by 80%.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="732" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Bang-and-Olufsen-Audio.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-712409" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Bang-and-Olufsen-Audio.jpg 732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Bang-and-Olufsen-Audio-300x246.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Bang-and-Olufsen-Audio-696x570.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/RayNeo-Air-4-Bang-and-Olufsen-Audio-512x420.jpg 512w" sizes="(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Air 4’s new AI 3D engine also allows users to transform 2D videos into 3D with a single tap. Combined with AI-driven SDR-to-HDR conversion, users get the best picture quality without waiting for official remasters.</p>

<p>As for pricing, the RayNeo Air 4 starts at 1,599 yuan, while the Air 4 Pro comes in at 1,699 yuan.</p>

<p>I’ve been writing about AR and XR glasses for a while, but the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/26/tcl-rayneo-air-3s-pro-ar-glasses-launched-globally/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RayNeo Air 3s Pro</a> is the first pair I’ve personally lived with for more than two weeks. Going in, I knew what to expect on paper: a brighter display than the standard Air 3s, upgraded audio, and some ergonomic refinements. What I didn’t expect was how much the “big screen anywhere” promise would actually hold up in practice.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704144" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-8.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Over the past two weeks, I’ve watched movies, gamed a little, and used the glasses as an external display for my laptop. The Air 3s Pro is not trying to be a futuristic mixed-reality headset. It’s a personal display, an external monitor you wear on your face. But in that narrow focus, it often shines brighter (literally and figuratively) than many of its rivals.</p>

<p>That said, these glasses aren’t perfect. But at $299, they sit in an approachable space where XR glasses start to make sense.</p>

<h3><strong>What’s in the Box</strong></h3>

<p>RayNeo keeps things simple. Inside the retail box, you’ll find:</p>

<ul><li>Air 3s Pro glasses in matte black</li><li>Soft felt carrying pouch</li><li>1.2-meter USB-C cable with a downward-angled connector</li><li>Two swappable nose pads</li><li>Prescription lens frame insert</li><li>Quick start guide</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704143" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-9.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>That’s it. There’s no hard-shell travel case, no lens shade for ambient light reduction, and no optional adapters like the Pocket TV or JoyDock in my unit. RayNeo sells those separately. I really wish a braided cable and rigid case were included. These accessories aren’t just nice to have; they’re necessary for travel and daily wear.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704145" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Design and Build Quality</strong></h3>

<p>The Air 3s Pro looks nearly identical to the standard Air 3s but swaps the chrome highlights for a full matte black treatment. The design feels less flashy and more understated, which I prefer for commuting or casual public use.</p>

<p>It weighs 76 grams and is built from plastic that feels solid, not fragile. The matte coating helps cut down on fingerprints and unwanted reflections. The 9-point FlexiFit system remains, letting me tilt the lens arms, tweak the nose pad angles, and dial in a comfortable fit without much hassle.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s no smartphone app to mess with; everything happens right on the glasses. Brightness controls live on the right side, volume and menu buttons on the left. Hit that menu button, and you get an overlay with settings for refresh rate, audio modes, and color profiles. The USB-C port sits under the right temple, and while that angled connector helps the cable hang naturally, I still found it stiffer than I&#8217;d like.</p>

<p>The built-in visor blocks most ambient light, but it&#8217;s not a total blackout. In bright rooms or outdoors, you&#8217;ll definitely notice some glare creeping in. Unlike the Xreal Air 2 Pro, there&#8217;s no fancy electrochromic dimming, though RayNeo is apparently selling a clip-on shade accessory now.</p>

<h3><strong>Features</strong></h3>

<p>The hardware specs are impressive for the price.</p>

<p>Each eye sees a 0.6-inch <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/sony/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sony</a> micro-OLED display pushing 1920×1080 resolution at up to 120Hz. The peak brightness reaches 1,200 nits thanks to RayNeo’s new tandem OLED light engine, and it supports 20 brightness steps for granular control. These are the brightest AR glasses I’ve used to date.</p>

<p>The visuals are powered by RayNeo’s HueView 2.0 system, which promises sharper edges, accurate colors, and better contrast. It hits 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and maintains ΔE &lt; 2 color accuracy, which shows in movies and HDR video. Contrast is rated at 200,000 to 1, and it really helps blacks stay black and highlights pop.</p>

<p>There are six display presets: Movie, Game, Standard, Professional, Eye-Care, and Vision Boost. Eye-Care mode introduces a warmer tone to reduce strain in dark rooms.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704153" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-10.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Spatial audio is also here. RayNeo has built four speakers into the arms, two per side, using what they call a dual opposing acoustic chamber design. Sound is directed toward your ears while minimizing leakage. Whisper Mode 2.0 uses phase cancellation to prevent others nearby from hearing what you&#8217;re playing, unless the volume is maxed.</p>

<p>You can watch 3D SBS video too. Holding both rockers switches into 3D mode, and the depth effect is more convincing than I expected.</p>

<p>What’s missing: adjustable IPD, built-in diopter correction, and any screen repositioning. If your eyes don’t naturally align with the 14 by 7 mm eyebox, image sharpness may suffer.</p>

<h3><strong>Comfort</strong></h3>

<p>This was honestly what I was most curious about, and I&#8217;m happy to report that comfort really isn&#8217;t an issue. At 76 grams, they&#8217;re light enough for movie marathons or multi-hour work sessions without causing fatigue.</p>

<p>RayNeo says they reduced the clamping force by 15% compared to the standard Air 3s, and I can feel the difference. Once you get the fit dialed in, they just feel like wearing a chunky pair of sunglasses.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-13.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The nose pads are soft and flexible, and that adjustment system really does accommodate different face shapes well. It took me a few minutes of fiddling to get the temple angle and nose pad position just right, but once I did, everything clicked.</p>

<p>If you wear prescription glasses, trying to layer these on top is pretty awkward and gets uncomfortable fast. The prescription insert works if you want to invest in custom lenses, but that&#8217;s extra money on top of an already $299 purchase.</p>

<p>The only real discomfort I noticed was during longer sessions, my right temple area would get a bit warm after an hour or so, though never uncomfortably hot. Also, because the cable exits downward and slightly back, I couldn&#8217;t comfortably lean against a pillow or couch arm without it poking me awkwardly. I would&#8217;ve loved a side-mounted port or at least a swappable cable design for people who like to use these while lying down.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704155" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-11.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>And can we talk about that cable for a second? The rubber coating feels pretty basic, almost cheap. For something that&#8217;s supposed to be portable entertainment gear, a braided cable should&#8217;ve been standard.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>During my testing, the Air 3s Pro mostly served as a second screen for my <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/asus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Asus</a> laptop, and in that role, they were excellent. The display genuinely feels like a 201-inch screen floating a few feet in front of you.</p>

<p>And the display is so bright that most of the time you won’t even need full brightness to enjoy movies or games. Even at 60% brightness, everything looks bright and crisp. I could write emails, scroll the web, or binge on entire movies while sitting comfortably.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704156" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-15.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Movies looked absolutely stunning. Those OLED blacks, the vibrant colors, the strong contrast, it all adds up to something that genuinely feels cinematic. Watching Oppenheimer and Interstellar on these glasses came surprisingly close to that mini-theater experience. I ran everything at 120Hz when possible, and you can really see the difference in fast motion, whether you&#8217;re gaming or just scrolling through web pages.</p>

<p>Gaming wasn&#8217;t my main focus, but I tested a few titles on my laptop. Latency was minimal, motion blur was well controlled, and the high refresh rate made everything feel responsive.</p>

<p>The one display quirk I noticed is that the bottom edge curves inward slightly. You might miss it during movies, but it can clip UI elements like the Windows taskbar clock or game HUDs that sit in the corners. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704154" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-6.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Audio quality genuinely surprised me. That four-speaker setup delivers clear dialogue, solid bass response, and convincing stereo separation. The spatial audio mode adds a sense of width and height that works particularly well for games and movies. Whisper Mode actually works too, I played a podcast at moderate volume while sitting next to someone, and they couldn&#8217;t hear anything.</p>

<p>That kind of private listening experience without needing earbuds or noise cancellation makes these perfect for shared spaces. I could enjoy my content while still being aware of what&#8217;s happening around me.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704158" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-12.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>My biggest limitation was mobile compatibility. I daily drive an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 14 Pro</a>, and since these glasses need a USB-C DisplayPort connection, I couldn&#8217;t use them directly. RayNeo didn&#8217;t include any adapters with my review unit, so I couldn&#8217;t test the full mobile experience properly. I also didn&#8217;t get the Pocket TV accessory, which could&#8217;ve offered a completely different experience and possibly changed my overall opinion.</p>

<p>I did briefly test them with a friend&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s24-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy S24 Ultra</a>, and Samsung DeX worked flawlessly. But without those adapters, your mobile experience will totally depend on what devices you already own.</p>

<h3><strong>Final Thoughts</strong></h3>

<p>The RayNeo Air 3s Pro isn&#8217;t trying to revolutionize AR. It won&#8217;t pin virtual windows around your living room, it doesn&#8217;t do 6DOF head tracking, and it&#8217;s not going to replace your main monitor. But as a personal entertainment device? It&#8217;s genuinely impressive.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro Review" class="wp-image-704157" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-Review-16.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>If you love movies, travel frequently, or just want a second screen without the desk space requirements, this is one of the best plug-and-play options available right now. The display is sharp, the brightness is industry-leading, and the audio is good enough that you can ditch your earbuds entirely.</p>

<p>The limitations matter: no dimmable visor, no IPD or diopter adjustment, and that awkward cable situation for certain use cases. But for $299, you&#8217;re getting an OLED personal theater with solid audio and broad device compatibility. That value proposition is pretty hard to argue with.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing and Availability</strong></h3>

<p>RayNeo sells the <a href="https://www.rayneo.com/products/ar-glasses-rayneo-air-3s-pro-features" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Air 3s Pro</a> for $299, but a limited-time launch offer drops the price to $249 with $50 off auto-applied at checkout. Optional accessories like the JoyDock, Pocket TV, blackout visors, or prescription inserts will increase the total cost depending on your setup.</p>

<h2>RayNeo Air 3s Pro Specifications</h2>

<p>The Air 3s Pro features HueView 2.0, a 5.5th-gen tandem Micro-OLED display that delivers 1,200 nits brightness, a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, and 98 percent DCI-P3 coverage.</p>

<p>The virtual display projects an image equivalent to 201 inches at six meters away. The glasses support six modes, including Movie Mode, Game Mode, Vision Boost, and Eye Protection Mode, making them suitable for different viewing environments.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro" class="wp-image-703458" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-1920x1281.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/RayNeo-Air-3s-Pro-5.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>RayNeo designed the Air 3s Pro for extended use. The glasses carry TÜV SÜD certification for low blue light and flicker-free visuals. They use 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and include 20 levels of brightness adjustment.</p>

<p>The frame weighs 76 grams and features balanced weight distribution, adjustable temples, and three levels of nose pads. The company says the design fits 93 percent of interpupillary distances and supports prescription lenses.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="769" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-1024x769.jpg?x44794" alt="RayNeo Air 3s Pro" class="wp-image-703464" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-1024x769.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-1536x1153.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-1068x802.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Rayneo-Air-3s-Pro.jpg 1800w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Air 3s Pro uses a quad-speaker system and RayNeo’s spatial audio algorithms to deliver theater-like surround sound. The “Whisper Mode” directs audio toward the ears to reduce leakage in public spaces. This system enhances immersion while maintaining privacy.</p>

<p>The glasses support multiple devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, PCs, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch through the JoyDock accessory. RayNeo also offers a USB-C adapter with pass-through charging, which allows nonstop use without draining the connected device’s battery.</p>

<h2>RayNeo Air 3s/3s Pro AR Glasses Specifications</h2>

<p>The RayNeo Air 3s comes with a foldable design, soft adjustable nose pads, and nine-stage flexible temple arms for a tailored fit. It features a front-rear balanced frame structure that helps reduce pressure on the nose, making it more comfortable for prolonged use. Each eye is equipped with a 0.6-inch 5.5th-generation Micro-OLED display, offering a resolution of 1920 × 1080 in 2D mode and 3840 × 1080 in 3D. It uses the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/09/apple-ipad-pro-2024-tandem-oled-display-explained/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">same dual-stack OLED technology</a> found in Apple’s latest iPad Pro. The display reaches a peak brightness of 1200 nits and supports 20 levels of brightness adjustment.</p>

<p>It supports a refresh rate of 60Hz with an optional 120Hz mode for smoother video. The display covers 145% of the sRGB gamut and 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, and it delivers a contrast ratio of 200,000:1 with a color accuracy of ΔE &lt; 2. For added comfort, it supports 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications.</p>

<p>The glasses feature RayNeo’s Peacock Optical Engine 2.0, a self-developed system that improves brightness and reduces light pollution by 15% compared to previous iterations. It supports five color modes: Standard, Movie, Game, Eye Care, and High Brightness, tailored for different viewing scenarios.</p>

<p>The Air 3s comes with a four-speaker stereo system tuned by TCL’s acoustic engineering team. It supports 11-level volume adjustment and includes a custom-designed “Whisper Mode” for more private listening. The 0.7mm speaker stroke with phase cancellation is intended to improve low-frequency output and vocal clarity.</p>

<p>It supports Type-C direct connections and is compatible with over 1000 devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch. It can also be used with HDMI and PD adapters for broader compatibility with PCs and home entertainment setups.</p>

<p>RayNeo equips the glasses with an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and geomagnetic sensor for improved interactivity and alignment. It supports a dedicated companion app and allows users to order prescription lenses, with support for up to 1000 degrees of myopia and 800 degrees of hyperopia.</p>

<p>The Air 3s Pro features the same core specs but adds 3D surround sound to the speaker system and includes a light-blocking front shield and charging adapter in the box. It also comes with RayNeo’s Eyebox visual alignment tech, designed to optimize image clarity across different interpupillary distances.</p>

<p>RayNeo is also selling a new HDMI adapter with built-in power for 299 yuan ($42), or 199 yuan ($28) when bundled with the glasses. This makes it easier to connect the Air 3s series to consoles or other media devices without requiring separate power cables.</p>

<p>In related news, TCL recently launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/05/28/tcl-qm8k-mini-led-tv-launched-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">QM8K Mini LED TV</a> featuring a CrystGlow panel, Halo Control technology, and an ultra-thin ZeroBorder design.
