Realme has begun selling the realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G smartphones in India. The devices are now available for purchase on Flipkart, realme.com, and through offline retailers. Both phones were launched last week and come with several storage configurations, introductory bank and exchange offers, and updated hardware across display, performance, and cameras.

Display and Build

Both smartphones feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2800×1280 pixels. The panel offers a 144Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and peak brightness of up to 6500 nits. It also supports 4608Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, full-brightness DC dimming, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Both phones are IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance.

Performance and Software

The realme 15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ processor built on a 4nm process, along with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The 15 Pro 5G uses Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with Adreno 722 GPU. Both phones ship with Android 15 based on realme UI 6.0.

Memory configurations include 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB using UFS 3.1. Both models support dual nano SIMs, and feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.

Camera Specifications

The realme 15 5G includes a 50MP primary rear camera using a Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.

The realme 15 Pro 5G upgrades to a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 1/2.88-inch OV50D sensor and f/2.0 aperture. This model supports 4K video recording at up to 60 frames per second. Both phones feature a 50MP front camera with the same OV50D sensor, f/2.4 aperture, and 4K recording support.

Battery and Connectivity

Both devices are equipped with a 7000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging via USB Type-C. Connectivity options include 5G SA and NSA with support for nine bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and USB Type-C 2.0. Additional features include stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, and USB Type-C audio output.

• 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at ₹33,999. The same online offers apply, reducing the net price to ₹30,999.
• 12GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at ₹35,999. Online offers include ₹3,000 bank or ₹5,000 exchange, lowering the price to ₹32,999.
• 12GB RAM with 512GB storage is priced at ₹38,999 with ₹2,000 offline discount, reducing the net price to ₹35,999.

Realme has rolled out its latest mid-range 5G smartphones in India, the Realme 15 Pro 5G and Realme 15 5G. Both phones come with a massive 7,000mAh battery and a strong push toward AI-powered camera and editing features.

Realme 15 Pro 5G, Realme 15 5G Specifications

The Realme 15 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, while the regular 15 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300+. Both offer up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of storage, and they ship with Realme UI 6 based on Android 15.

The camera setup brings a lot of attention as well. The camera setup includes 50MP front shooters on both devices, while the Pro model upgrades the rear system to include dual 50MP sensors—one for wide shots and one ultrawide. Up front, both phones offer 50MP selfie cameras that can shoot in 4K at 60fps.

Realme is also betting big on AI this year. These phones pack new features like “AI Edit Genie” (which lets you edit photos using voice commands) and “AI Party,” which tweaks camera settings in real time based on ambient lighting. Other AI-driven features include motion detection, glare removal, enhanced landscape capture, and a so-called “AI Snap Mode.”

Visually, the phones boast a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. You also get an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP66/IP68/IP69-rated durability, and the usual array of connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB-C. 

Fueling the phones is a 7,000mAh cell with support for 80W charging across the board.

Pricing starts at Rs. 31,999 for the Realme 15 Pro 5G and Rs. 25,999 for the Realme 15 5G. Both will be up for grabs starting July 30 via Realme’s website, Flipkart, and retail stores. 

Realme is also offering bank discounts of up to ₹3,000 on the Pro and up to ₹2,000 on the base model, plus additional exchange deals. Color options include Flowing Silver and Velvet Green for both phones. There’s also Silk Purple exclusive to the Pro, and a Silk Pink variant for the vanilla version.

As per the official page, the Realme 15 5G has a curved display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. It also offers 6,500 nits of peak brightness, 2,500Hz touch response, 94 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Gorilla Glass protection.

In terms of durability, the Realme 15 5G will arrive with IP69-level dust and water resistance. Despite featuring a huge battery, the device will measure only 7.66mm in thickness. It will be available in three shades: Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver.

Under the hood, the Realme 15 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Plus chipset. It is unclear how different the Plus edition is from the regular D7300. It will be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.

The Realme 15 5G will come equipped with dual 50-megapixel cameras and Plus Light, a glowing RGB LED flash. It will also come with AI-driven photography features like AI Edit Genie, AI Party Mode, and AI Magic Glow 2.0, which will also be available on the Pro version.

Realme is preparing to launch the Realme 15 5G and Realme 15 Pro 5G in India, as confirmed through new promotional material. While the company has yet to provide a concrete launch date, the devices are expected to arrive in July. 

These new models will follow the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+, which launched earlier this year. Notably, the standard Realme 14 5G never made it to the Indian market.

In its announcement, Realme referred to the upcoming 15 Pro as its “most advanced AI party phone.” The company hasn’t disclosed specific hardware details yet, but it hinted that the device will include features previously limited to its higher-end Pro+ models.

One of the main highlights of the Realme 15 series is expected to be the camera system. Realme has teased what it calls “party-inspired” imaging capabilities that use AI to tweak parameters like shutter speed, saturation, and contrast in real time.
