In a recent Weibo post, the tipster reiterated the key specifications of the Pro model.

According to DCS, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will sport a 6.74-inch OLED display. The flat screen will produce a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels, a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. On the front, a 16-megapixel camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls.

Its rear camera setup will feature an OIS-enabled Sony IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera. At present, there is no information available about the auxiliary cameras of the device. It will arrive as Realme’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Other leaks by DCS have revealed that the device will arrive with 512 GB or 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is a possibility that the handset may also come in a 100W charging variant. It is also being said that the phone’s back will have a transparent portion like the Realme GT Neo 5.

Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly revealed the battery size of the device. In addition, the leak also reveals that the device may come in two charging variants.

Realme GT Neo 5 Pro may arrive in two charging options

Well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has been leaking the key specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro for the past few weeks. In the latest leak, the tipster revealed that the smartphone will pack a pair of 2,540mAh cells, offering a combined size of 5,000mAh (typical value). He added that the device will support 150W charging.

In the previous leaks, the tipster said that the GT Neo 5 Pro supports 100W charging. Hence, it appears that the phone may arrive with 100W and 150W charging options, like the GT Neo 5, which is available with 240W and 150W charging options in China. DCS’ previous leaks have also revealed that the GT Neo 5 Pro will come with a 6.74-inch OLED 1.5K 144Hz display with 2160Hz PWM dimming, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support. A certain portion of the phone’s back may have a transparent design.

It is believed that the Realme phones with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 that were recently spotted in the database of China’s MIIT certification platform could be the two charging variants of the GT Neo 5 Pro. Rumors are rife that the GT Neo 5 Pro is expected to launch in July or August of this year. It is expected to rival upcoming flagship phones such as the iQOO 11s, the Redmi K60 Ultra, and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.

According to the renowned tipster, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is expected to feature a flat OLED panel with minimal bezels. The screen is rumored to offer an impressive 1.5K resolution along with a high refresh rate of 144Hz and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Interestingly, it seems that Realme will utilize the same 6.74-inch OLED panel sourced from the Tianma brand that was previously seen on the Realme GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5 SE smartphones released earlier this year.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM will be present under the hood of the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. There is no information about the battery size of the device. However, it is expected to support 100W charging.

In the upcoming third quarter of this year, there will be fierce competition among brands like iQOO, OnePlus, Redmi, and Realme as they all plan to launch their new flagship phones. According to a recent post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station, the next Realme flagship phone has been named the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro. Two new Realme phones have been approved by China’s MIIT authority. It is speculated that it could be the GT Neo 5 Pro.

The screenshots below show the upcoming Realme phones with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 that have received certification from the MIIT authority. It remains unclear whether these model numbers represent distinct phones or variations of the same phone designed for different networks in China. Hence, it is likely that the RMX3820/3 could be the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro.

Except for Realme, all the mainstream Android smartphone brands have launched  Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered flagship phones. MediaTek recently unveiled the Dimensity 9200 Plus, which is said to perform better than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Recent reports have revealed that the US-based chip maker is working on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, an overclocked version of the SD8G2. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the names of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset.

According to the tipster, the Redmi K60 Ultra, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, iQOO 11S, and Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will start launching in July. Among these, the K60 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus, whereas the other flagships will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2.

He added that three of these devices will support 1.5K resolution, whereas one of them, which appears to be the iQOO 11S, will offer 2K resolution. Among these, only one device will have a plastic frame, which indicates that the other three models could be equipped with an aluminium frame. It is likely that the iQOO 11S will come equipped with a plastic mid-frame.

As per reports, the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to feature an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, a D9200+ chip, and 100W or 120W charging. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.47-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, an SD8+G2 chip, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging,

The iQOO 11S is likely to arrive with a 6.78-inch 2K 144Hz E6 AMOLED screen, an SD8+G2 chip, a 50-megapixel main camera, a Vivo V2 ISP, and 200W charging. The Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.74-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED display with 2160Hz PWM dimming, an SD8+G2 chip, 100W charging, and a new design.
