MediaTek recently unveiled the Dimensity 9200 Plus, which is said to perform better than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Recent reports have revealed that the US-based chip maker is working on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, an overclocked version of the SD8G2. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the names of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset.

According to the tipster, the Redmi K60 Ultra, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, iQOO 11S, and Realme GT Neo 5 Pro will start launching in July. Among these, the K60 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus, whereas the other flagships will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2.

He added that three of these devices will support 1.5K resolution, whereas one of them, which appears to be the iQOO 11S, will offer 2K resolution. Among these, only one device will have a plastic frame, which indicates that the other three models could be equipped with an aluminium frame. It is likely that the iQOO 11S will come equipped with a plastic mid-frame.

As per reports, the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to feature an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, a D9200+ chip, and 100W or 120W charging. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.47-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, an SD8+G2 chip, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging,

The iQOO 11S is likely to arrive with a 6.78-inch 2K 144Hz E6 AMOLED screen, an SD8+G2 chip, a 50-megapixel main camera, a Vivo V2 ISP, and 200W charging. The Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.74-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED display with 2160Hz PWM dimming, an SD8+G2 chip, 100W charging, and a new design.
