Back in May 2022, Realme had announced two new smartphones for the Indian market. While the base Narzo 50 5G model is already available for purchase in India, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G‘s release was postponed from May 26. Now, the first sale of this model is finally live. So let’s have a look at its specs, pricing, and offers.

Talking about the handset first, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G sports a 6.4 inch sAMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging and runs on Android 12 OS based Realme UI 3.0.

For photography, the rear camera module houses a 48 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device features a 16 megapixel selfie shooter in a punch hole cutout. It even comes with stereo speakers setup that support Dolby Atmos audio. The device measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs around 181 grams.

Realme has launched the new Narzo 50 Pro 5G in two color options in India, namely Hyper Black and Hyper Blue variant. The 6GB + 128GB storage configuration is priced at 21,999 INR (roughly 282 US Dollars) in India, while the 8GB + 128GB model costs 23,999 INR (roughly 309 US Dollars). The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon and Realme Store. Notably, the device is also available for a 2,000 INR discount through HDFC Credit Card transactions.

Chinse tech brand realme just launched a couple of smartphones and its first tablet last week in India. Despite releasing three mobile devices,  the brand is still not done for September. According to new information, the company will be debuting the realme narzo 50 series by the end of this month.

As per a report by Moneycontrol, realme is expected to launch the realme narzo 50 series in India between September 20 and 24. The realme narzo 30 series successor will make its global debut in the country.

The sources of the publication do not mention the number of devices in the lineup. But we can expect at least four models, namely realme narzo 50, realme narzo 50 Pro, realme narzo 50A, and realme narzo 50i.

However, they do confirm the one device launching next week and that is realme narzo 50A. In fact, one of the brand’s executives recently corroborated the same on Twitter. There’s a chance that realme narzo 50i might tag along. 

On the other hand, we don’t see any possible launch of realme narzo 50 and realme narzo 50 Pro in India at the moment. But they are said to come in both 4G and 5G variants like their predecessors.

Lastly, two AIoT products such as realme Band 2 and realme TechLife Robot Vacuum could be announced alongside the realme narzo 50 series next week.
