Red Magic has announced two luxury gaming devices for China: the Red Magic 11 Pro+ Golden Saga and Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition, with pre-orders launching soon.

The 11 Pro+ Golden Saga showcases automotive-grade materials with supercar carbon fiber construction, aerospace-grade sapphire back cover, and mirror silver frame. The gold, silver, and sapphire design extends to internal components, featuring gold-plated vapor chamber cooling, dual-tone air ducts, and the industry’s first gold-plated liquid cooling system. Even the power button, logo, and included SIM ejector tool receive gold plating. The device ships in a collector’s gift box.

Hardware includes Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Wind Chaser 4.0 active cooling fan, ICE Magic Cooling System, and 50MP dual cameras. The single 24GB/1TB configuration costs 9,899 Yuan ($1,360).

Alongside the smartphone, Red Magic will also introduce the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro Golden Saga. The tablet adopts a similar design language, featuring a gold rear logo, a gold-plated magic key, and a gold-plated ring around the rear camera module. The Gaming Tablet 3 Pro centers on a 9.06-inch OLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, sub-1ms response time, and 4.9mm bezels achieving 90.1% screen-to-body ratio. Peak brightness reaches 1,600 nits with 1,000,000:1 contrast. TÜV Rheinland certification and 5,280Hz PWM dimming reduce eye strain.

Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset built on TSMC’s 3nm process powers the tablet, paired with Red Core R3 Pro co-processor for gaming optimizations. LPDDR5T RAM operates at 9,600 Mbps alongside UFS 4.1 Pro storage. ICE 3.0 cooling combines sandwich vapor chamber, liquid metal 2.0, and active turbo fan.

It has a 8,200mAh battery that charges at 80W, reaching 50% in 22 minutes with bypass charging support. Synaptics S3930 controller delivers 2,000Hz touch sampling. Additional features include 13MP rear camera, 9MP front camera, dual speakers, dual linear motors, NFC, fingerprint sensor, and wireless casting.

Red Magic has officially launched its latest gaming tablet, the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro. Marketed as the industry’s first OLED gaming small tablet, it features a powerful hardware setup focused on immersive gaming and smooth performance.

Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro Specifications

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro centers around a 9.06-inch OLED gaming display. The panel achieves an impressive 90.1% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to ultra-slim 4.9mm bezels. It supports a peak brightness of 1600 nits, with a global peak of 1000 nits, and delivers a 1000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

The screen runs at a 165Hz refresh rate with a sub-1ms response time, making it highly responsive for fast-paced games. TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free performance, along with a 5280Hz PWM dimming system, ensure eye comfort during extended gaming sessions.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process. It pairs with the Red Core R3 Pro co-processor, which manages gaming-specific tasks like super resolution and frame rate enhancements.

For precise control, the tablet features a Synaptics S3930 touch controller with a 2000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and a 240Hz native 10-finger sampling rate. It also supports call integration technology, allowing users to answer phone calls directly on the tablet.

The audio setup includes symmetrical dual super-linear speakers and dual X-axis linear motors for haptic feedback. Connectivity options include NFC, a fingerprint sensor, and both wired and wireless low-latency casting.

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro is available in two color options: DaoFeng Transparent Dark Night and DaoFeng Transparent Silver Wing. Pricing is as follows:

• The 12GB + 256GB variant is officially priced at 4199 yuan ($580), with an introductory price of 3999 yuan ($550)
• The 16GB + 512GB version is priced at 4699 yuan ($650)
• The 24GB + 1TB version is priced at 5999 yuan ($830)

A separate teaser confirms that the Red Magic 10S Pro is also arriving in a limited edition model.

The Chinese brand’s latest teaser posters showcase the gaming tablet with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite. This is the same processor that powers the Galaxy S25 series and a bunch of other flagship phones. Alongside this chip, you also get the proprietary Red Core R3 Pro gaming chip, which further enhances the gaming performance of this device.

Gaming isn’t the only thing its good with since it also supports productivity features like split screen multitasking, cross screen editing, and fast file transmission. Based one what we know so far, the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro will be announced on 11th June 2025 in the Chinese market. It sports a 9-inch OLED display with 2k+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, SGS Low Blue Light and Flicker Free Eye Protection certification. A sizeable 8,200mAh battery pack powers this model, which will support 80W wired fast charging.

The company announced the Red Magic 10S Pro for the global market earlier this month. But now, it seems like a limited edition version is also in the works. Red Magic has kicked off the pre-reservations for the new Red Magic 10S Pro Ming Chao Limited Edition in China, with first sales going live on 13th June 2025.

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro is reportedly the industry’s first 9-inch compact gaming tablet. It features a 9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels — a form factor the company believes is ideal for handheld gaming.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version processor, currently the most powerful in the 5G SoC segment, featuring a dual super-core setup clocked at 4.32GHz. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench with 24GB of RAM and Android 15 onboard. The device scored 2,654 and 8,037 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

The tablet is also said to be equipped with a built-in cooling fan and thermal plates to improve heat dissipation, which should help sustain peak performance for longer gaming sessions. An 8,240mAh battery powers the tablet, supported by 80W fast charging as confirmed by China’s 3C certification.

Today, the brand released an official confirmation that the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro is set to launch on June 11 in China. Ahead of the launch, the device has appeared in the databases of Geekbench and China’s 3C certification platform.

The above poster confirms the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro moniker and its June 11 launch date for China. This upcoming tablet, which reportedly bears the model number NP05J, has emerged in Geekbench and 3C.

While the 3C listing confirms that the tablet will support 80W charging, the Geekbench listing reveals that it will be powered by a 4.32GHz Qualcomm, which is nothing but the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version. The Red Magic 10S Pro which debuted last month also featured the same chip.

Recently, Red Magic unveiled the Red Magic 10S Pro and 10S Pro+ smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chip. According to reports, Red Magic is working on a gaming tablet featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version. Likely, this device could be the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro.

The device is expected to feature a 9-inch customized OLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels. It will be backed by an 8,240mAh battery. Since it is a gaming-focused device, it is also expected to feature a built-in cooling fan. The other details of this tablet are under wraps.
