According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 15 series will debut in December in India. He added that the series will be available for purchase starting Jan. 9 in the country.

While he did not go into the specifics of the Redmi Note 15 models, it is believed that the Note 15, 15 Pro and 15 Pro+ heading to the country, as well as other markets, will be slightly different from their Chinese counterparts, which debuted a couple of months ago.

Redmi 15C 5G launching this month

The leak mentions that the Redmi 15C 5G will debut later this month in India. It will arrive as an entry-level 5G phone positioned lower than the already available Redmi 15 5G. The 15C is expected to cost around Rs 12,000 in the country.

Redmi flagships to make a comeback

The tipster also claimed that Redmi will introduce a new series similar to the K-series available in China. The new lineup will focus on offering flagship performance. However, the tipster is not 100 percent sure about this leak and suggests waiting for an official announcement.

Redmi hasn’t launched a flagship phone in India after the Redmi K20 lineup, which debuted way back in 2019. While it brought back the K-series to the country with the Redmi K50i in 2022, it hasn’t launched a K-series model after that. Since Redmi is expected to announce the Note 15 series next month, an official announcement on the flagship series may only come after this launch.

According to the report, the Redmi Note 15 series will launch in India by early January 2026. It also states that the variants heading to India will be slightly different from their Chinese versions, which debuted in August in China.

Like their Chinese editions, the Indian versions of the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro, and Note 15 Pro+ are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, Dimensity 7400-Ultra, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. There is a possibility that the global/Indian variants will have different cameras compared to their Chinese counterparts.

Meanwhile, the global editions of the Redmi Note 15 series have been gradually receiving certifications in different markets. The Note 15 5G and Note 15 Pro, with model numbers 25098RA98G and 25080RABDG, respectively, have been approved by certification platforms in Singapore and Thailand.

The Pro model has also been approved by Indonesia’s SDPPI and the UAE’s TDRA. The Note 15 Pro+, which has the model number 2410ERA8BG, has also been spotted at the SDPPI certification. The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels. The panel delivers up to 3200 nits peak brightness and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. It also offers a 480Hz touch sampling rate and can reach 2560Hz instantaneous sampling in select games, making it ideal for fast-paced interaction.

Xiaomi includes 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision, along with 12-bit color depth and DCI-P3 coverage for accurate and vibrant reproduction.

According to the leak, the Note 15 Pro+ will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K quad-curved display with large rounded corners, which the tipster says is an “equal depth” design.

The screen reportedly uses the same luminous material found on Xiaomi’s flagship devices and is protected by Dragon Crystal glass, marketed as a tougher alternative to traditional Gorilla Glass. That makes the Pro+ visually closer to premium models than most mid-range handsets.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Sticks with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

According to tipster PaperKing13, the Chinese tech giant isn’t bringing an upgrade in this year’s Redmi Note lineup. Even the top end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ model might still use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC (SM7635) same as the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. This is a bit disappointing since we are not getting any performance upgrade on the newer model, while some competitors are getting more powerful chipsets like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (powers the Vivo V60).

Apart from this, the tipster did not reveal any other finer details regarding the Note 15 Pro+. So we still have no idea regarding its other features like camera, display, and battery. However, PaperKing13 did touch on the processors for the rest of the Redmi Note 15 lineup. This hints that the Note 15 5G could pack another Qualcomm chip, while the Note 15 Pro 5G could be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity processor.

Xiaomi is likely working on a Redmi Note 15 4G and a Note 15 Pro 4G for this series as well. However, there is still no word regarding these devices. Keep in mind that this is still an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt for now and stay tuned for more as the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is expected to launch later this month.

Redmi seems finally ready to unveil its next Note series phones. Wang Teng, general manager of Xiaomi China’s marketing department and head of the Redmi brand, confirmed today that the new Redmi Note 15 series phones will be unveiled later this month.

In a Weibo post, Wang also shared some stats for the brand. According to him, Redmi Note models are now sold in more than 100 countries, and in the first half of 2025, it has became the world’s best-selling domestic smartphones in the $175 to $499 price range.

The Note 15 Pro lineup will likely aim to live up to that reach. Wang says the series is “built with 2025 top standards,” with what he calls “top-notch build quality across the board.”

What to expect?

As for what to expect, the Note 15 Pro has passed 3C certification in China with 90W charging. Whereas, the top-end Note 15 Pro+ has been MIIT certified for support for satellite messaging via the BeiDou system. 

This makes the Note 15 Pro+ the first phone from Redmi to support satellite connectivity. Yes, even Redmi’s flagship K series is yet to offer this feature. 

On the hardware side, the Note 15 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s series chipset.

It will feature a quad-curved OLED screen with slim, uniform bezels and a 1.5K resolution. Its camera setup will include a high-quality 50-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

As for other specs, it could include symmetrical dual speakers and, if last year’s Note 14 Pro is any guide, full IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance along with a 1.5K eye-protection display.

Redmi is about to do what only a handful of phone makers have tried, and none in its price bracket. The upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has received official certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China, confirming support for satellite messaging via the BeiDou system.

That’s a first not only for the Note series but for Redmi as a whole. Even the premium K and K Ultra series have not yet received satellite support. 

According to insider sources like Digital Chat Station, only the Note 15 Pro+ will get this feature, at least for now. And it won’t be available on every variant either. Xiaomi reportedly plans to offer satellite messaging only in a special version of the phone, likely to manage costs and appeal to those who genuinely need it. 

Still, this is a pretty big deal. Satellite messaging allows you to send and receive messages even when you’re far from any cell tower. The feature has so far been reserved for flagship phones only. However, Redmi seems to be bringing this to a wider audience with its upcoming Note series. 

Beyond this

The Note 15 Pro+ itself seems solid all around. According to a previous report, it is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s series chipset and a 7000mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a quad-curved OLED screen with slim, uniform bezels and a 1.5K resolution. Its camera setup will include a high-quality 50-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro, and Note 15 Pro+ in August in China. Earlier this month, a Redmi phone with model number 25080RABDC was approved by China’s 3C authority. The device, which was spotted with a 45W charger, is believed to be the upcoming Redmi Note 15. Now, a new Redmi phone with model number 2510ERA8BC has surfaced in 3C’s database. This phone also appears to be a part of the Redmi Note 15 series.

Alleged Redmi Note 15 series device 3C certified

The above screenshot reveals that the alleged Redmi 2510ERA8BC device may ship with a 90W charger. Both devices have already been approved by the CMIIT platform, indicating that these phones could be a few weeks away from their China launch.

To recall, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ came with support for 45W and 120W fast charging, respectively. It remains to be seen whether the 2510ERA8BC device ends up as the Note 15 Pro or Note 15 Pro+.

The Redmi 2510ERA8BC device has multiple country variants. These include 2510ERA8BC, 2510ERA8BT, 2510ERA8BI, and 2510ERA8BG, which could be for China, Thailand, India, and global markets.

Additionally, there is a Poco variant of the device bearing the 2510EPC8BG model number. This device does not seem to have variants for India or Southeast Asian markets.

Readers are advised to wait for further reports to know the final marketing name of these upcoming smartphones. A recent report revealed that the Note 15 Pro+ will feature a quad-curved OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera using a large sensor, and a 50-megapixel telephoto snapper. According to the details shared by DCS, one of the phones is likely the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, and the other seems to be the iQOO Z10. The leak suggests that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a quad-curved OLED screen with slim and uniform bezels and a 1.5K resolution.

Its camera setup will include a high-quality 50-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. Powering the device will be a new Snapdragon 7s chip, and it will house a massive 7,000mAh battery. Additionally, it will feature symmetrical dual speakers for enhanced audio.

iQOO Z10 specifications (rumored)

As for the iQOO Z10, it is expected to sport a flat OLED display with the same 1.5K resolution. Its rear camera will include a 50-megapixel main lens, positioned as a mid-range imaging sensor. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and is tipped to pack an even larger 8,000mAh battery.

Although the exact launch date has not been confirmed, both models are likely to debut in China sometime in August.  The Z10 will be a new addition to China’s IQOO Z10 series lineup, which already includes three models, such as the iQOO Z10x, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro.

In markets outside of China, iQOO has already launched the iQOO Z10. However, the Chinese version of the Z10 will be completely different from the global Z10, which features the Dimensity 7300 chip.
