However, we couldn’t spot the evidence of 5G carrier frequencies on the FCC listing. Amidst this, a new tip says that the device will indeed get a 4G variant and come with a 108MP camera sensor.

The latest information comes from the Xiaomiui Telegram Channel. According to them, one of the 4G variants of the Redmi Note 10 Pro is codenamed as “sweet_pro”. That is, it says that the 4G model will also have another variant with a bigger camera sensor. If this leak is true, it would be the Samsung 108MP S5KHM1 sensor.

If we recall, the Redmi Note9 Pro 5G in China, and Mi 10i 5G that recently launched as a tweaked version of Mi 10T-Lite, have Samsung’s 108MP HM2 sensor. This is slightly a bigger 1/1.52-inch sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. However, you can find the HM1 sensor on the older flagships like Mi 10.

EDITOR’S PICK: Redmi Note 9T 5G renders emerge before official launch

The device that launched in India back in May, has a smaller 1/1.33-inch sensor but with a wider f/1.69 aperture. In any case, we shouldn’t expect flagship camera features like OIS on the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which will mostly be placed in the low-mid segment.

Anyway, this leak also suggests that we may see multiple Camera variants of the Redmi Note 10 Pro let alone it supporting 4G/5G. Precisely, it says that a variant with the codename “sweet” will feature Samsung’s 64MP S5KGW2 sensor along with ultra-wide, Macro, and Depth as auxiliaries.

Further, it says that the device will feature an IPS display(40-120Hz), Snapdragon 732G SoC, 5,050mAh battery and have a non-NFC variant for India(codename- sweetin). That said, we advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for official news.

We know from FCC listing that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will likely feature NFC, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, and run MIUI 12(it could also be MIUI 12.5).

The South Korean tech giant is rumored to develop a 150 megapixel Nonacell camera sensor. It is expected to launch around Q4 of 2020 and will be the company’s largest sensor, solely by megapixel count. It is also the largest commercially available image sensor that can be found in the market. The original news arrived via a tweet on Twitter by a user named Sleepy Kuma (@Kuma_Sleepy).

Editor’s Pick: Redmi Lu Weibing’s poll between 8GB DDR5 RAM or 12GB DDR4X RAM at the same price shows surprising results

In the tweet, the news also includes additional details like the adoption of the new Samsung sensor by other OEMs. Similar to this year, it was claimed that Xiaomi ill adopt the new 150 megapixel sensor in Q4 of 2020. Vivo and Oppo are also set to include the sensor, but in the Q1 of 2021. These devices are likely to be the Chinese smartphone companies’ flagship and are said to also feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 SoC as well.

As it stands right now, the rumor had yet to be officially confirmed through any sources. So take it with a grain of salt considering a separate report had mentioned a 144 megapixel from Samsung. Furthermore, the current generation of chipsets, especially Snapdragon 865, is capable of supporting a camera sensors up to 200 megapixels. So supplementing technology is available right now. However, Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 1000 might be the processor which is meant to feature the sensor.

The Galaxy S11 has featured in a couple of leaks which shows the device would likely take a detour from its predecessor in launching with several cutting-edge technologies and refreshed design.

The Galaxy S11 was recently rumoured to come with a triple camera setup at the front. A new rumour shared by Ice Universe on Weibo has emerged that the Galaxy S11 will use Samsung’s record-breaking 108MP sensor. Recall that Samsung had announced the world’s first mobile camera sensor that goes beyond 100MP in August this year. The Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX is a 108MP sensor for smartphones developed in collaboration with Xiaomi. The sensor was first utilised on the Mi CC9 Pro but if this rumour turns out to be true, the Galaxy S11 will be the first flagship to use the sensor. Well, that is if the Mi Mix Alpha isn’t released before then since it also packs the 108MP sensor.

EDITOR’S PICK: First Samples from the 108MP Mi Mix Alpha is here & we are not impressed!

The ISOCELL Bright HMX is still a 0.8um image sensor as its 64MP offering but increases the sensor size to a staggering 1/1.33″, a first for a smartphone camera. This helps it churn out large 12032 x 9024-pixel resolution photos, comparable to high-end DSLRs. The large sensor size helps the sensor to absorb more light in low-lit conditions. Further, Smart-ISO helps the sensor intelligently select the right ISO to match the needs of the environment. The HMX sensor is using Samsung’s Tetracell and ISOCELL Plus technologies, so it will be able to generate bright, big-pixel 27MP images. The sensor also supports 6K (6016 x 3384 pixels) video recording at 30 fps.

While the launch of the Galaxy S11 lineup is still a couple of months away, we expect to get more details as time goes on. Already, the device is detailed to run on One UI 2.1 which will be based on Android 10. It is also said to have a faster fingerprint scanner, improved camera setup which includes 5X optical zoom sensor and 108 MP primary sensor. The device is also expected to be powered by an Exynos 9825 and Snapdragon 865.
