Skyball has announced brand-new Bluetooth speakers in the Indian market. The new audio product is the Party Box 400 wireless portable speakers. Just last month, the company announced the Skyball Rigor and Elevate smartwatches in the region, so let’s have a look at the new speakers.

Skyball Party Box 400 Specs

Despite being a portable speaker, the Skyball Party Box 400 offers 40W sound output that features True 40W Super Bass sound. It features a no-distortion audio signature through a 360° Surround Stereo sound setup enhanced by Dynamic Boost Technology. The portable speaker houses high quality drivers and two 3-inch tweeters. It also comes with robust connectivity options and a unique design. In other words, the wireless speaker is perfect for home entertainment with music and movies.

Apart from an eye-catching design that features RGB lighting for the dynamic multi-party light effects, the company has also focused on durability and an IPX5 rating for splash resistance. To add to its portability, the new speaker is equipped with a Dual Grip Handle with Belt operation support. A large 4,500mAh battery pack powers this portable party speaker, which guarantees up to 5 hours of music playback. It also supports a USB Type-C port for charging and offers up to 30m range.

Skyball Party 400 Bluetooth speakers are currently available for purchase on Amazon and the brand’s official website in India. It has an official price tag of 9,999 INR (roughly 120 US Dollars), but the company has launched it for a special introductory price tag of 4,999 INR (roughly 60 US Dollars).

Skyball Rigor, Elevate Smartwatches With AMOLED Displays Launched In India

The smartwatch market in India is quite saturated, especially in the budget segment. There are premium players like Apple, Samsung, Garmin, and more ofcourse. In the budget category, there are homegrown brands which include boAt, Noise, Fire-Boltt, Pebble, etc. Now a new brand called Skyball has entered the wearables devices segment. The company has announced two new smartwatches called the Skyball Rigor and Skyball Elevate. Read on to learn more about both below.

Skyball Rigor and Elevate specifications

Beginning with the Skyball Rigor, it has a circular dial with a zinc alloy body and ultra-durable glass that is touted to be shockproof and resistant to scratches. There are two buttons on the right side for navigating. The device is IP68-certified dust and water-resistant. The smartwatch features a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

Meanwhile, the Skyball Elevate has an Apple Ultra-like design with a square dial, a rotating crown, and another physical button. This one also has an AMOLED display but it measures 2.02-inches bearing a resolution of 410 x 512 pixels and 600 nits peak brightness

On the health and fitness front, both the Skyball Rigor and Elevate are equipped with a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and a sleep tracker. The latter also has a blood pressure monitor and breathing training feature. Both offerings pack sedentary reminders. The wearable devices also come with support for tracking over 120 sports modes.

The Skyball Rigor and Elevate have a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth voice calling. Convenient features on the smartwatches include DND mode, notifications, calculator, music and camera control, and more. The Rigor is backed by a massive 400mAh battery unit that is claimed to last 20 days whereas the Elevate is powered by a 260mAh cell capable of offering 7 days of usage.

The Skyball Rigor and Elevate smartwatches are priced at Rs 3,599 and Rs 2,999 respectively. The former is offered in Silver and Black whereas the latter comes in Black, Teal, and Moonlight Grey colors. Both devices are available for purchase from the company’s website and Amazon.

Indian electronics manufacturer Videomax launches its own consumer brand for audio and wearables

Videomax (VMI) is a manufacturer that works behind the scenes for many established Indian brands. While it may not be a household name among general consumers, the company has now announced the launch of its own brand, Skyball. This new brand will offer a range of products, including home audio systems, smart accessories, and other consumer electronics.

Videomax to invest crores in its first consumer brand

VMI has launched Skyball with a focus on home audio, wearable devices, and smart accessories. The company plans to invest Rs. 100 crores in the next three years to grow the venture, with the goal of achieving a turnover of INR 500 crore during that period. For this year, Skyball is targeting a turnover of INR 100 crore.

Skyball’s first product lineup is almost here (launch later this month), and it’s all about Home Audio. It includes party speakers, tower speakers, Bluetooth speakers, soundbars, and more. In addition, Skyball is also planning to release several smartwatches in June 2023. They’ll be starting online and then spreading to stores all across India.

While concrete details about the wearables are not known, the press release reads they include the latest technology and health-centric features, such as fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, built-in GPS, and more. The watches are claimed to arrive with a sleek and stylish design.

Skyball aims to provide customers with a robust experience, and to achieve that goal, it has established a strong installation and after-sales team comprising over 500 service centers across 450+ cities in India. In the first quarter, the company will concentrate on establishing its online presence through strategic partnerships with major e-commerce firms like Amazon. Later on, it will shift the focus to building an offline presence and reinforcing the distribution and dealer network in Tier-II and Tier-III markets.
