Oppo K11x goes on sale in China, offers 120Hz display, 108MP dual cameras, 67W charging

Just before announcing the Reno 10 series of smartphones in China, Oppo took off the covers from the Oppo K11x mid-range in the previous week. As announced, the device is now available for purchase in the Chinese market. Here is a look at the price and specifications of the device.

Oppo 11x price

The Oppo K11x comes in three options, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models are priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$211), 1,699 Yuan (~$239), and 1,899 Yuan (~$267), respectively. The K11x comes in green and blue shades. At present, there is no word on whether the phone will be released in markets outside of China.

The Oppo K11x houses a spacious 6.72-inch LCD display that delivers impressive visuals with its Full HD+ resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a cinematic 20:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, it offers a peak brightness of 550 nits and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. Running on the Android 13 OS with the ColorOS 13 skin, the K11x promises to offer a smooth experience.

The Snapdragon 695 chipset powers the K11x under the hood, along with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. To keep the lights on, the device houses a substantial 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The Oppo K11x offers a 16-megapixel front camera that captures detailed selfies and enhances your video calls. A 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash are all part of the dual-camera system on its back.

Furthermore, the K11x incorporates a side-facing fingerprint sensor for effortless unlocking. It also boasts a range of additional features, including dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual stereo speakers.

OPPO Reno 8z poster leaked, reveals a familiar design

Several reports have revealed that OPPO is gearing up to launch the OPPO Reno 8z in different markets. The launch date of the smartphone could be drawing near since it has bagged several certifications. A few images of the Reno 8z’s prototype have appeared through its NCC certification in Taiwan. Now, reliable tipster Evan Blass has released a poster of the unreleased smartphone to reveal its design. The leaked image shows that it looks quite similar to the Reno 7z.

The leaked poster shows that the arrangement of the triple camera unit and the LED flash is identical to the Reno 7z. There is RGB light around the two large-sized cameras. The “AI Portrait Camera” text can be seen below the camera setup.

The Reno 8z has a boxy design with flat edges. The flat side of the device has a SIM card slot and volume buttons. It has a microphone on the top. The Reno 8z images that appeared through its NCC listing revealed that its bottom has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille.

OPPO Reno 8z specifications (rumored)

The rumor mill is yet to spill the entire specifications of the Reno 8z. Reports have revealed that the device will come equipped with the Snapdragon 695 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 12 OS. To recall, the Reno 7z was also powered by the same chipset.

The Reno 8z is expected to arrive in three configurations: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It appears that apart from the above-shown color variant, the Reno 8z will also arrive in black and blue colors.

POCO X4 Pro 5G India launch tipped, POCO Watch BIS certified

POCO X4 Pro 5G was recently announced for the global markets. The handset is expected to launch soon in India. Fresh information reveals that the company could be planning to announce its first smartwatch. It was recently spotted at certification sites such as TDRA, EEC (Europe), SIRIM (Malaysia), TKDN (Indonesia), and SGS Belgium certification. Now, it has been also spotted in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the POCO X4 Pro 5G will be coming soon to India. Hence, there is a possibility that the device may go official in the country as early as this month.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel, and its rear shell has a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Snapdragon 695h chip powers the device. It has up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Android 11 OS and MIUI 13. It is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

As shown by the tipster, the alleged POCO Watch with model number M2131W1 has been approved by the BIS authority, which indicates that it will be heading to India in future. There is a possibility that the POCO X4 Pro 5G launch event for India could also see the arrival of the purported POCO Watch and the company’s first TWS earbuds called POP Buds. Rumors have it that the latter could be a rebranded version of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro.

OPPO Reno7 Z design revealed in official renders, key specs confirmed

Earlier this month, OPPO released the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro smartphones in India. The company is now working on making the Reno7 lineup in other markets. OPPO Indonesia has started teasing the arrival of three phones namely, Reno7, Reno7 Z, and Reno7 Pro. The company is speculated to launch these phones on Feb. 24 in the country. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer has released the official renders of the Reno7 Z to reveal its design. In addition, it has also confirmed some of its key specs.

The OPPO Reno7 Z 5G can be seen in gradient green and black colors. The front side of the phone has a punch-hole display with a thick chin. Its rear panel has two large camera sensors flanked by a small-sized camera and an LED flash.

The right edge of the Reno7 5Z has a power key, whereas its left side features a volume rocker and a SIM tray. A microphone is available on the top edge of the device, while its bottom side has a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. OPPO Reno7 Z 5G

OPPO has confirmed that the Reno7 Z will come equipped with the Snapdragon 695 chipset. It will be fueled by a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. It will also come with a RAM expansion (virtual RAM) feature. OPPO is yet to confirm its other details. It is speculated that the Reno7 Z could be a tweaked version of the OPPO A96 5G, which is currently available only in China.

The A96 has a 6.43-inch OLED FHD+, Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, SD695 chip, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 48-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system, and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The Reno7 Z may offer users identical specs but come with improvements in departments like cameras and charging.
