Sony has unveiled a new wireless speaker dubbed Sony SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker. The SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker comes with several features that put it on a strong pedestal on the marketing front. The wireless neckband speaker allows users to take calls, listen to music and other audio content seamlessly while walking around or doing other tasks without distraction.

There has been a surge in the acquisition of wireless neckband audio devices, due mainly to their convenience, battery life, and the entertainment they offer via excellent audio outputs. The Sony SRS-NB10 is designed as a comfortable device that can be worn on the shoulder all day. It has a full-range speaker, bass boost via a passive radiator, and is compatible with Bluetooth 5.1 (30 meters radius of service). The audio system of the wireless neckband speaker support SBC and AAC codecs, and the gadget comes with a frequency transmission range between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz. The Sony SRS-NB10 offers excellent clarity in calls and a comfortable design. Users can easily connect their device to a TV, smartphone or audio input source via Bluetooth to enjoy crisp audio content while engaging in other tasks.

The Sony SRS-NB10 uses Voice Pickup technology using a beam-forming array with two microphones combined with advanced signal processing. You can connect to two devices simultaneously because the Sony wireless neckband speaker has support for a multi-point connection. Sony says its latest wireless neckband speaker guarantees up to 20 hours of entertainment due to its extended battery life. The device also supports USB-C fast charging, with a full charge achieved within a short time. The neckband is lightweight (weighing about 113 grams), and is very comfortable to wear.

The SRS NB10 wireless neckband speaker is expected to go on sale in September 2021 and will sell for $149.99. It is not clear whether Sony will have a global rollout when the SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker becomes available from September but we expect it to get to Sony enthusiasts even in far-flung parts of the world ultimately.
