Tecno Pova 3 will go on sale for the first time in India today through Amazon. The smartphone from Tecno made its way to the country a week ago. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and comes with a 90Hz LCD display, a triple rear camera setup, 33W fast charging, and a massive 7000mAh battery. Tecno Pova 3 price in India, offers

The Tecno Pova 3 is priced in India at Rs. 11,499 ($147) for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone also comes in a 6GB + 128GB model that comes with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 ($166). The handset will go on sale via Amazon starting today.

The Techno Pova 3 comes in Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black color options and the launch offers on the smartphone include a 7.5% instant discount with Standard Chartered, Yes Bank, and HSBC Bank Credit Card EMI transactions.

The Tecno Pova 3 flaunts a massive 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels. The screen also has a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a centered punch-hole cutout design to house the selfie camera setup. Under the hood, the Tecno Pova 3 features a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, paired with a Mali G52 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB storage.

On the camera segment, the smartphone offers a triple rear camera setup. The camera module consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 2-megapixel wide-angle lens, and an AI lens. While on the front, the handset has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Tecno Pova 3 houses a massive 7,000mAh battery with a 33W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 11 on top of HiOS 8 out of the box.

Last month, the Tecno Pova 3 smartphone made its debut in the Philippines. The device has also been teased to launch in India through an Amazon microsite. Now, Tecno India has tweeted out a new teaser for the device hinting at an imminent launch.

In the latest teaser, the brand hints that the Pova 3 will debut in three days, i.e on June 20. The main attraction of this device is its Mammont-sized 7000mAh battery that comes coupled with a decent budget mid-range spec sheet.

Tecno Pova 3 specifications (expected)

Tecno has already teased a bunch of the Pova 3’s key specifications. The specs that are still under wraps are expected to be the same as the Philippines variant.

According to the teaser, the Pova 3 will have a massive 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD display panel with 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a centered punch hole for the front camera and noticeable bezels going around the display.

Under the hood, the smartphone will rock the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with an octa-core processor and the Mali G52 GPU onboard. The device will be offered with 6GB RAM that can be virtually expanded up to 11GB (6GB + 5GB virtual). For storage, the smartphone will offer 128GB of internal capacity and a microSD card slot to expand the storage even further. As we know, the device will come with a gigantic battery pack of 7,000mAh capacity, which will be paired with 33W fast charging.

Coming to the optics, the teasers have revealed that the device will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Other than that, the device is expected to bring two more 2-megapixel sensors on the back making a triple camera setup. On the front, the POVA 3 will likely have an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Apart from this, the device is confirmed to feature a Z-Axis Linear Motor for rich haptics and vibrations along with a dual stereo speaker setup for immersive audio. More details about the Pova 3 will be revealed at the launch event on June 20, so stay tuned.

Tecno has unveiled its latest smartphone in the Philippines. The Tecno Pova 3 comes with a mammoth 7,000mAh battery, a 6.9-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, and two RAM options. The Pova 3 is priced from PHP 8,999 (~$172) and comes with Android 11 OS.

The Tecno Pova 3 packs a 50MP main camera, two 2MP auxiliary sensors, and an 8MP selfie shooter. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio chipset with RAM/ storage configurations between 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The storage of the Tecno Pova 3 is expandable via a microSD slot.

The Pova 3 is signposted by its powerful battery which can last up to 48 hours on a single charge. Some battery enhancement features are also available in the Tecno Pova 3. They include reverse charging and Super Power Saving Mode. The reverse charging function can deliver 10W charging for other devices. Charging the Pova 3 is via its bundled 33W charger, with up to 25W charging speed.

The Pova 3 has an FHD+ LCD screen, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The HiOS is also available in the Pova 3, together with Android 11.

The smartphone is available in three color variants and the top model will sell at PHP 9,399 (~$180) in the Philippines. The Tecno Pova 3 will subsequently be available in other markets after the Philippines launch.
