Tecno Spark 10 Pro has launched in India today. It arrives as the successor to the Spark 9 Pro. The latest offering packs some impressive specifications and falls under the sub-Rs.15,000 price bracket. The Tecno Spark 10 Pro competes against the likes of Realme C55, Moto G32, and more in the market. Read on to know what the Tecno Spark 10Pro offers out of the box.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro features a center-aligned punch-hole display measuring 6.103 inches. It offers an FHD plus resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. The device features a boxy form factor and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is an iPhone-like rear camera module. 

On the imaging front, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro has a dual rear camera setup of a 50MP main sensor and an AI lens. There is a 32MP front-facing snapper. The smartphone has various camera-related features.

Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It packs 8GB Ram along with 8GB virtual memory. There is 128 GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The device has a 12490mm graphite sheet for heat dissipation. The smartphone draws its power from a 5000mAh battery unit supporting 18W fast charging.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro runs on HiOS 12.6 based on Android 13 OS. Connectivity options on the smartphone include a USB-C port, NFC, Dual 4G VoLTE, and a 3.5mm jack.

Earlier this month, Tecno announced the Spark 10 Pro for the global market. Its press release also confirmed the existence of other Spark 10 Universe phones, such as the Spark 10 C, Spark 10, and Spark 10 5G. As per a new tweet released by the brand, the first of the Spark 10 series phones will debut in three days in India. Hence, it appears that the Spark 10 Pro may launch on March 23 in India. There is a possibility that the Spark 10 5G may debut alongside the Pro model.

In the poster shown below, Tecno teased two smartphones. The green, white, and black models seen in the image are three color variants of the Spark 10 Pro. The blue model with a different rear design appears to be the Tecno Spark 10 5G. A recent report, which carried leaked shots of the Spark 10 5G, revealed that it has a 6.6-inch FHD+ display, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, a Dimensity chip, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. Tecno Spark 10 Pro specifications

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with a dual-LED flash. The back panel of the phone features a 50-megapixel main camera, two auxiliary cameras, and a dual-LED flash.

The Helio G88 chipset is present under the hood of the Spark 10 Pro. It features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and offers a dedicated microSD card slot for more storage. The device runs on a HiOS 12.6-based Android 13 OS.

Some of you should know about this phone that was unveiled at MWC. Last year’s SPARK 9 Pro was impressive in terms of price and image quality of selfies. If you want to get a phone with great selfies at a cheap price last year, I will suggest you buy SPARK 9 Pro. But this year, you can check this one, SPARK 10 Pro.

Unboxing & Design

Like SPARK9 Pro, the box contains almost the same accessories. Card pin, earphone, charging cable, and 18w charger. The only difference is that the case has changed from a hard PC to TPU, which means it has become more flexible.

The design of SPARK 10 Pro is somewhat similar to its predecessor, but not quite. The most obvious change is the camera module, two circles have become three. But when you take a closer look, the lens has become one less. The circle on the right is actually the flash, and the small hole above it is just a decoration. Although there is one less lens, that lens is really not very important. I think it’s worth it if you can get a better main camera for it.

The back panel design is also made up of glossy and frosted, but the glossy area has been cut down, and only the lens module part is glossy. This time the back panel material has been upgraded, and the new Starry glass is more scratch resistant and very smooth to the touch. Unfortunately, there are only two colorways of black and white this time, green and blue do not appear on the 10 Pro.

When you see the earphones in the box, you should be able to guess that the SPARK 10 Pro has a headphone jack. A TF card and a dual SIM card can be put into the SIM card slot together. A waterproof design is also available. Honestly, I like SPARK 9 Pro a little more in terms of design. But design favorites are different from person to person, SPARK 10 Pro has done its best at this price point.

Selfie Camera

The bad news is that the SPARK 10 Pro selfie camera is still 32 MP, but the good news is that the SPARK 9 Pro is already unbeatable for selfies at the same price point, so the 10 Pro’s selfie camera is also still powerful. The selfie in the daytime is already much better than many budget phones, and is close to the middle and high-end phones. Beauty mode also removes blemishes from your face.

Here’s what puts SPARK 10 Pro ahead of the others: its front notification light. It is also a flashlight, providing enough light for selfies in low light. It avoids reflections from screen fill light and is very friendly to people who wear glasses. The brighter light also results in less noise and sharper details. Anyway, there is no phone under $200 that can take better selfies than the SPARK 10 Pro. I’m sure about that.

Although the rear camera has one less lens, it seems that the performance of the main camera has become better. With the aid of AI color tuning, the main camera can give you a great photo for most scenes. These photos don’t look much different from mid-range phones that are much more expensive than them.

And it has a 50MP full-pixel mode. But with the lack of AI color grading and the large size of the photos, I think 12MP is enough. SPARK 10 Pro as an entry phone, you can’t expect too much from it at night. It does get noisier and less clarity. But its Super Night mode improves the dynamic range of photos, at least allowing you to capture objects in front of the lens even in low light.

SPARK 10 Pro also supports 2k 30fps, and the clarity of the footage is quite good for entry phones. The front lens resolution supports up to 2k, and the frame rate supports up to 30fps. Display

In addition to the algorithmic improvement of the camera, the display has also been upgraded this time. The first upgrade can be seen when you light up the screen: Punch-hole Display. although this kind of display has become mainstream for a long time, many phones in the same price range are still using the water drop display, so this is also a kind of upgrade.

The screen also supports higher refresh rates, with a 90Hz refresh rate being good enough for most everyday applications. I wouldn’t say the display is very good, but it’s clear that the SPARK 10 Pro is doing its best.

SPARK 10 Pro’s processor is MediaTek’s Helio G88. While the G88 sounds more powerful than the 9 Pro’s G85, the difference in performance is actually negligible. The G88 has no problem handling PUBG Mobile, with HD Graphics stable at 30fps. If you have to play Genshin Impact on your entry phone, I’ve tested it for you too. It’s not a problem to cope with Commission Quests at the lowest Graphics, but the game experience is not that good. 5% power consumption for 10 minutes. This entry phone is more suitable for more relaxed games I think.

The SPARK 10 Pro is a very interesting phone. Even in 2023, an entry phone that focuses on selfies is very rare. In order to let more people enjoy taking selfies, it not only makes concessions on the price but also doesn’t lag behind other phones in every aspect of its specs. Many mobile brands choose to showcase their new phones at MWC 2023, and TECNO is no exception, as the SPARK series has finally added a new member. Although we were not able to be there, we still got this SPARK 10 Pro in advance.

The phone has not been officially released yet, so an in-depth review will need to wait until after the release to be created. But from the appearance, we can still see a lot of details that TECNO designed for it.

Tecno has quietly unveiled the Spark 10 Pro. The selfie-focused entry-level phone is now listed on Tecno’s website. Except for the price, the listing has revealed almost everything about the device. Here is a look at the entire specifications and features of the Spark 10 Pro.

The Spark 10 Pro houses a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a DCI-P3 color gamut. The device comes preloaded with Android 13 OS and HiOS 12.6.

On the front, it has a 32-megapixel camera with an LED flash. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash.

Under the hood, the Spark 10 Pro features the Helio G88 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 8 GB of virtual RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging via USB-C. The power button located on its right edge is integrated with a fingerprint sensor. It offers other features, such as up to 256 GB of storage, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Spark 10 Pro has a glass back and measures 168.41 x 76.21 x 8.46mm. It comes in two color options: Starry Black and Pearl White. Now, a leak has emerged revealing a detailed spec sheet of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro alongside its price range.

Tipster Paras Guglani has shared a marketing image of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro that has all of the key details about the device. The Spark 10 Pro (K17 model) is expected to feature a large 6.78-inch LCD screen with a high resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, 396 ppi pixel density, and 580 nits of brightness, with a punch-hole design and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Helio G88 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via USB-C. It will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The front camera will be a 32-megapixel shooter, while the rear camera will have a 50-megapixel main camera, an AI lens, and a dual-LED flash unit, with features like Pro Mode, AI Beauty, Super Night Mode, Super Night Filter, and more for photography enthusiasts.

The upcoming Spark 10 Pro smartphone is anticipated to launch in India by mid-March, with an estimated price range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000. The Spark 10 Pro is the brand’s latest offering in the mid-range Spark lineup and it is said to be made for Gen Z. To this end, it comes with a sleek design coupled with improvements in its camera setup. The device packs a 32MP ultra-clear glowing selfie front camera. The front camera comes with dual flashlights that should enhance selfie shots in low-light conditions. The device equally packs a 50MP rear camera.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 gaming processor that is optimized for a superior gaming experience. The device also features a starry glass back panel with a glossy finish.

Tecno says the Spark 10 Pro will be officially launched for sale in March.

On its part, the new Megabook S1 laptop comes with an improved Intel Core chipset. It would be recalled that Tecno first launched the Megabook S1 laptop in December 2022. This upgraded version is equipped with the latest 13th-gen Intel Core processor. The premium flagship notebook weighs just 1.35kg and has a thickness of only 13.5mm.

Furthermore, the Megabook S1 2023 comes with PC SwiftTransfer through hand gestures. This feature supports Tecno’s new generation OneLeap connection, data sharing, file management, multi-screen collaboration, and reverse network sharing across the company’s digital ecosystem. Thus, it makes it easy for users to enjoy deeper integration between their devices, providing a more comprehensive digital experience.
