Today, Tecno launched the Pova 5 Pro smartphone in Indonesia, and it is also set to arrive in other global markets, including India. Additionally, the brand introduced new color options for two of its existing smartphones in India, namely the Tecno Spark 10 and Tecno Spark 10C.

Tecno Spark 10 is now available in a striking Magenta color variant, while the Tecno Spark 10C is introduced in a vibrant Orange hue. Both of these new color options are eye-catching and add a fresh touch to the smartphone’s appearance.

The Tecno Spark 10 comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display featuring a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, it offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Running on HiOS 12 based on Android 13, the smartphone offers an updated and user-friendly interface. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, supporting 18W fast charging. For photography, it features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a secondary lens, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies.

On the other hand, the Tecno Spark 10C comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by an Unisoc T606 processor, it offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It operates on Android 12-based OS. Like the Tecno Spark 10, it also packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For photography, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 16MP main camera and a macro lens, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies.

Tecno Mobile has launched the latest addition to its Spark 10 Universe, the Tecno Spark 10C, in Africa. The Spark 10 Universe includes other models such as Spark 10, Spark 10 5G, and Spark 10 Pro. The new device is designed to cater to the needs of users who desire a smartphone with high-end features but at an affordable price.

Tecno Spark 10C specifications and features

The Tecno Spark 10C features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 1.6GHz octa-core processor and comes with a RAM capacity of 4 GB or 8 GB and a storage capacity of 128 GB.

The Tecno Spark 10C has a 16-megapixel dual rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel front camera with a selfie flash. It runs on the Android 12 operating system with the HiOS 8.6 skin on top. The Spark 10C is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, ensuring that the device can last for an extended period on a single charge.

The Spark 10C has dual SIM slots with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio and a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The Tecno Spark 10C is available in three colors: Meta Black, Meta Blue, and Meta Green. It is priced at around $170 in Africa for the 4GB+128GB model. The Spark 10C is also expected to release in other markets, including India, in the coming weeks.

Earlier today, Tecno launched the Spark 10 5G smartphone in India. Last week, the brand announced the Spark 10 Pro (review) in the country. Earlier this month, the company had already confirmed three devices in the Spark 10 series. Since two devices in the lineup have already launched, only, the Spark 10 (likely a 4G version) and the Spark 10C are yet to go official. Now, Tecno’s official website has made listings of both phones (Spark 10, 10C) live along with key specifications. 

The Tecno Spark 10 seems to be different from the Spark 10 5G that debuted in India. The Spark 10 duo comes with a boxy design and an iPhone-like rear camera module. The Spark 10 has a 50MP main sensor whereas the Spark 10C has a 16MP primary lens, both paired with a secondary shooter and an LED flash. Both smartphones feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an 8MP selfie snapper. 

The Tecno Spark 10 and Spark 10C are listed with a 6.6-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch. Both phones are powered by an unspecified octa-core processor coupled with 8GB RAM and an additional 8GB virtual RAM. There is 128GB onboard storage. The Spark 10 duo is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging via USB-C port.

The Tecno Spark 10 comes in Meta Black, Blue, and White colors whereas the Spark 10C is offered in Meta Black, Blue, and Green colors. The pricing and availability details of both smartphones remain unknown.

Tecno Spark 10C has appeared on the Google Play Console listing. The device is listed with model number KI5k and it reveals the key specifications. There was no Spark 9C and the upcoming offering is expected to arrive as the successor to the Tecno Spark 8C that debuted in February last year. The Tecno Spark 10C is also expected to be an entry-level budget device. Read on to know what we know about the Spark 10C.

As per the Google Play Console listing, the Tecno Spark 10C will feature a HD+ display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 320 dpi. Under the hood, it will be equipped with a Unisoc T606 processor that comprises two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.6GHz. The device will pack 4GB RAM onboard and we can expect it to be available in more RAM and storage configurations. The upcoming offering will ship with Android 12 OS out of the box. 

Apart from the aforementioned information, the Google Play Console listing does not reveal any additional details about the Tecno Spark 10C. We can expect it to be a budget offering and more information about the smartphone can surface in the coming weeks. 

In other news, Tecno is set to unveil its first foldable phone called the Phantom V Fold at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. It is rumoured to be powered by a Dimensity 9000 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
