Xiaomi has announced its 6A USB4 braided high-speed data cable in China. The Xiaomi 6A USB4 cable can deliver transmission speeds of up to 40Gbps and supports 240W fast charging. It can achieve up to 8K video transmission at a 60Hz refresh rate. The new Xiaomi data cable is a versatile and durable cable that will guarantee seamless transmission of any data/ media content. The model is available for pre-order in China for 99 yuan ($14).

The Xiaomi 6A USB4 braided cable supports PD 3.1 protocol, as well as 6A high current. It is backward compatible with Xiaomi 120W/ 90W/ 67W fast charging but comes with 240W fast charging integration. The cable uses a coaxial core, a braided wire body, and a wire length of 1 meter. It can be used in several device types including smartphones, tablets, monitors, laptops, and other devices. The data line connector has a plug-and-unplug life of more than 10,000 times. The plug’s tensile strength is far above 100N.

The new Xiaomi 6A USB4 braided high-speed data cable is offered for 99 yuan ($14). It is already available in several retail outlets in China such as JD.com. The new Xiaomi 6A USB4 braided high-speed data cable compete with some other models already in the Chinese market. It is also unclear at this time whether the new USB4 cable will be available for the international market.
